We had the best time at the Cumbalica! It was great for our big group, especially with the location and reserved swimming areas. Will definitely stay again!

We couldn’t find anybody to check out there’s nobody in the front desk, which is I don’t understand. We wait at least 20 minutes to drop our key.

Was not it informed till check-in that I would eat breakfast at another hotel down the street along with access to the pool. Second, the walls are so thin and hallways echo that I can hear conversations and people movement all night long, not allowing me to sleep

The staff at Cumbalica are exceptionally helpful and hospitable. Saban was especially dedicated. The room had every amenity needed for a comfortable stay. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Had a fantastic time. Spacious apartment; great seaview; perfect location; helpful staff. Would definitely recommend, and visit again. Only slightly weak point was the breakfast. I'd encourage them to have a bit more variety. But overall, it was a 5 star experience.

The hotel was clean, close to the areas i wanted. The receptionist was so helpful. The only problem i gad was with the hotels.com website. I couldn’t get the reservation details and invoice from them.

Beach is not a beach. It is a marina like setting, you have to jump in or use the rusted ladder to get in the water. It is across the street next to a free public beach, no private beach for the hotel. Area is filled with little homeless kids begging all day.

There was no wifi during our 4 days stay. The receptionist was nice and friendly. Room were clean but there was no air conditioning in our bedroom, there was an ac in the living area. there was no balcony with sea view. Shower water was hot and nice.

October 2023, we truly hit the jackpot with the Cumbalica Hotel in Ilica. We got the #2 sea-view room which was close to perfect. Large room with huge living space. Small Migros on the ground floor which was excellent for quick snacks. Ilica is the perfect holiday destination, especially in October with hardly any tourists. Hotel has its own private beach. 20 Lira on the 10-min small bus shuttles gets you to the over-rated Alacati town, or Cesme (where you can catch a bus to anywhere). There are dozens of small restaurants and as usual, 2 streets behind, you get really tasty, and cheap food/ice cold beer. Watching the fish auction at the small fisherman's wharf was a real treat, and the nearby hot spring is absolutely great.

Spacious Room with wonderful view

It’s a comfortable stay. We loved the big space both in the bedroom and the living room. We discovered some minor problems which we informed the management and they responded very quickly and rectified the problem. The marina/beach in front of the hotel is very nice on a sunny day as the water was clear and turquoise in color against the blue sky, that view has definitely added value to our stay. We mistakenly left our things behind and the management was kind enough to forward it to us to our next destination. We truly appreciate their help. Helpful staff and great accommodation. What else can you ask for. Highly recommend if you are coming to this little town.

Front desk was not friendly. They barely greeted us when we were going in and out. We stayed at suite but they did not provide enough blankets and pillows for each of us so we had to keep asking for everything. Yes there is a small kitchenette but utensils are ridiculously limited. The pictures makes it look like the hotel has a private beach bit thats cafeterias beach and open to public. So dont be fooled by pictures like we did. They also purposly took the pictures makes it look like the hotel is right on the beach but its not. There is a busy road between hotel and the beach.

Just okay

This space was clean and in a good location across from the water, and a short walk from lots of restaurants. It is well stocked, nice looking, and comfortable. The listing stated parking - there is none, but we were able to find street parking within a few blocks. The front desk staff were not helpful with this. The "beach" is a concrete pad on the water next to an extremely crowded and small public beach. They had run out of working umbrellas when we arrived. The staff were not very polite - our room was not ready when we arrived, and they asked us to come back in an hour. We returned about an hour and a half later and sat in the lobby, and we were told to wait outside - this was a little odd.

Excellent choice

Saban bey, çok titiz, caliskan, samimi, yardim sever, konuksever bir isletmeci. Kaldigimiz sure icerisinde bize surekli yardimci oldu. Kaldigimiz Oda güzel, temiz, deniz manzarali. Çok memnun kaldik. Kendisine tesekkur ederiz. Very good situation next to the sea. Clean and big rooms, Saban has been very attentive and kind.

De kamer kwam absoluut niet overeen met de foto’s. Het hotel is oud, alles in de kamer is toe aan vervanging. De badkamer stonk naar urine. Lastig parkeerplek te vinden voor het hotel. Je kan tegen een vergoeding parkeren aan de zijkant van het hotel. Personeel is onvriendelijk. We hingen het kaartje met kamer schoonmaken en toen we in de avond terugkwamen in ons kamer was het niet schoongemaakt. Personeel beweerde dat wij het kaartje met niet storen hadden opgehangen en dat ze hier zelfs foto’s van hadden…slimme manier om geen kamers te hoeven schoonmaken. Ook zijn wij erop aangesproken met het verzoek om onze kinderen zoveel mogelijk rustig te houden in het buitenbad omdat het volgens het hotel een 12+ concept betreft. Tijdens het boeken was dit niet vermeld en dit hebben we aangegeven, we kregen er geen concreet antwoord op terug. Onze kinderen zijn van zichzelf al rustige kinderen maar op deze manier voelde het voor ons en de kinderen alsof we op onze tenen moesten lopen. Al met al een mega tegenvaller en absoluut het geld niet waard. Voor ons geen tweede keer.

Gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim. Bir otel odasından çok 1+1 daire konsepti var geniş bir alanda konfor sunuyor, dekorasyon ve temizlik gayet iyi. Tesis etrafında çokça yeme içme kafe restoran bar market alternatifleri var. Otelin kendi alanından deniz erişimi var ama iskele tarzında biz hiç kullanmadık onun yerine aracınız var ise ılıca halk plajına araçla 5 dk sürerek tercih edebilirsiniz. Alaçatı ya yakın olması bir avantaj Kullanmadım ancak otelin önünden toplu taşıma da geçiyor.

En buyuk sıkıntımız ısınma problemiydi. Yatak odasında klima yok. Isıtıcı koymuslar ama bu seferde sadece vurdugu yeri ısıtıyor. Bir yanım terledi bir yanım dondu. Rahatsizdi. Cumbalardaki perdelerin biraz daha kapatıcı olmasını dilerdim. Ne yaparsan yapin bir kısmı açık kalıyor. Lakin her yere yakın olması avantaj. Çalışanlar gayet ilgililer. Kışın degil ama yazin kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Temizlikte ufak bir leke problemi yasadim ama hemen giderdiler. Kahvalti gayet lezizdi. Hele ki orada çalışan Gülşen abla mukemmel bir insan. Sırf onun icin oraya tekrar giderim. Soguktan dolayı olan kizginligimi bile aldi. Gozunuzu seveyim bir klima daha bağlayın yatak odasina. Gercekten sogukta can sıkıcı okuyor.

Odalar son derece temiz ve personel de çok kibardi. İnanılmaz sakin ve huzur doluydu. Yastıklar, çarşaflar, havlular o kadar temizdi ki sanki ilk kez kullanılıyor hissi verdi. Gerçekten temizlik konusunda takıntısı olanların rahatlıkla tercih edebileceği, sakin huzulu bir konaklama geçirdik. Emeği geçen tüm çalışanlara ve otel yönetimine çok teşekkürler
