Lovely quiet location, villa was clean and spacious with lovely balcony, everything you needed! They even provide bikes and shark tooth nets which made the stay more enjoyable.

Nice hotel within walking distance of amenities

Stayed in Mendes Street villas for first week then transferred to West Venice Avenue. Mendes Street had very good villa but felt a bit isolated. The rooms were large and comfortable. The West Venice property was upstairs and smaller, but the overall impression was much better. It has a very nice swimming pool with sun chairs, bicycles, beach equipment and BBQ's and we found the residents very friendly. The owners were extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooms were within walking distance of both shops and restaurants and at a push the beach.

Thin walls

Walls are thin and there was a door connecting unit 10 to unit 9. You could hear every noise they made. Including them cooking breakfast at 5.30am, cupboards and drawers being opened and closed, kitchen chairs being dragged across the tile floor, microwave buzzing, smoke alarm going off. This happened for the whole of our stay. Glad to leave to have a nights sleep. We probably would of enjoyed the hotel if we had stayed in a different room.

Awonderful oasis in picturesque Venice

This is a real gem in a gorgeous town. Venice is beautifully landscaped, quiet and laid back with beautiful beaches. The main street Venice Avenue has individual shops rather than chains and a wide range of gift/craft etc shops. Venice beach villas is a small intimate complex split between 2 sites. The owners have thought of everything to make guests comfortable. Quiet and peaceful at all times - one of the nicest laces we have stayed. Good value out of season- high season after Xmas when prices go up

Location and value for money is very good.

Stayed two nights in September. We know the area and wanted to be central to downtown and the beach. It meets both criteria at a good price. The room was clean and bright with good quality linens and lots of them. Plenty of flatware and crockery etc if you wanted to cook. Flatscreen tv and free WiFi. The pool and lanai are spotless and there are books and dvds available. A couple of pcs and a printer are available for guest use. We enjoyed it there, if the weather has been better we'd have made use of the bicycles, we liked the free loan of beach chairs and mats, there's even stuff for kids. Good to know when you have flown in with limited luggage. Everything is in waking distance.

This is an excellent location for both the town and the beach. Apartment was a little tired and aircon very very noisy. Even if you turned off your aircon you could hear other aircon units.

Lovely Venice

Self catering apartment on a small complex built round a pool. Short walk to a beautiful beach and shops/restaurant's/cafes etc. The apartment (No.6)was very clean and well fitted out for a couple with sitting area on the veranda outside overlooking the pool. The furniture and appliances were a little dated and tired but did not spoil our enjoyment. The complex allowed you to borrow cycles, beach chairs, flotation devices, books etc. which added to the freedom and enjoyment. Venice is lovely town some what quiet but that is what we wanted. Would go again.

Love our Venice Villas stay

We had a great stay in Venice at Venice Beach Villas. Very clean with great communication from beginning of stay till the end. We had left a gift in the room for the housekeeping staff and they even called to confirm we didn't leave it by mistake. We will stay here again for sure.

The staff there is great! The rooms are perfect for our needs with a refrigerator, stove, microwave etc, They range from efficiencies to two-bedroom apartments. Our one bedroom apartment was ideal for two people. I highly recommend these villas.

We had a great time in Venice. Very comfortable rooms and a big heated pool. Additional stuff like beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes and even cooling boxes can be taken for free. You walk to the beach or some locals restaurants (the farmer market on a Saturday is also a plus). Communication was great. Even during some minutes without water they wrote a short notice and pinned it on our door.
