Perfect little Gem !

Read the reviews, they are 100% accurate, beautiful quiter setting, immaculately clean and the hosts are FABULOUS!! Nothing too much trouble, everything was perfect for myself a solo traveller catching up with friends. Little paradise , will be back as soon as i can. Pool is inviting and again spotless. The staff are respectfull and polite ,just lovely. A real gem, i guarantee you will not be disappointed , it excelled my expectations.

We had a great stay, the property is well maintained and the family are very friendly and helpful. The food is all freshly made and is very good. It is easy to get the bus into Kos town only taking 10 minutes. We will be back !

Perfect apartment for a restful, relaxing holiday

We stayed here for 2-weeks in early June'18. Our apartment (10) was impeccably clean & our linen was changed every other day. Run by a wonderful family, Gregorus, his wife Rhea, sister Marietta and their Mama, nothing was ever too much trouble. They really cared about our comfort & ensured we were having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The apartments & hotel have recently been updated with sunproofing and soundproofing on many of the apartment windows and patio doors. The mattresses had also recently been updated & were extremely comfortable. Our apartment had a double hot plate, microvave, kettle, assorted crockery & cutlery sufficient for basic self catering. Be aware that if you require access to the safe or a toaster then you will be required to pay extra. The pool area was lovely, surrounded by tidy lawns & tall palm trees. The sunbeds were new too so really comfortable & the parasols were excellent for finding shade when needed. Although the apartments are on a road, it's really not that busy & rarely bothered us at all. There are fabulous uninterrupted views across to Turkey & we often had the pool to ourselves. There are 5 excellent restaurants & a number of bars within 10/15 minutes walking distance. We would recommend Nestoras, Blue Ocean and Nikos & Contessa as excellent options for traditional Greek dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would not hesitate to recommend to others & would return in a heartbeat.

So clean & friendly

Good location with a 10 minute bus ride to town. Clean rooms, great staff. Nice clean pool. Good quality sunbeds & patio furniture. Beach is minutes across the road however, will need to walk a bit to find sandy parts as the majority of it is pebble. Local eating places 20 minutes or so walk. The hotel does snacks and breakfast but not for full evening meals. All in all we would definitely go back for a holiday.

Great service and very comfortable rooms

Fantastic family-run hotel - cannot praise the attentive service enough. The bed was also very comfortable and the room quiet. Our only "even-better-ifs" were the lack of wifi in the room - somewhat impractical for researching the local area. It was also close enough to Kos town center but a bit of a lengthy walk (30 minutes) and the buses can be a bit sporadic (but otherwise well connected). Would return but with a sponge as we found out that we were expected to buy our own sponge and dishwashing liquid to do our dishes (provided with the hotel/apartment)

Welcoming hotel,close to Kos Town and beach

Arrived to helpful staff and a spotless room, attended a wedding nearby, staff were happy to provide iron etc to get ready, enjoyed lovely breakfasts, situated across the road from Psalidi beach, at the end of the stay staff organised taxi for us. Couldn't have asked for better service, thanks Andromeda!!

Great value for money, clean and friendly

A really nice, spotlessly clean family run hotel. 3k from the centre of Kos with a regular bus service or short (flat) cycle ride. The owners could not be more helpful and the place is so well maintained. Would be happy to return.

Family run friendly hotel.

We loved the hotel as it was very quiet and relaxing. The owners are very friendly and happy to help with advice on local amenities and things to do. We loved the views of the sea and the hotel gardens are lovely. The continental breakfast offered at a small cost of €5 was very enjoyable and sufficient for our needs. It may be a bit further from the main resort but it is worth the walk or cycle to stay here.

Fantastic Hotel

This has to be the best apartment/hotel I have stayed in on the island of Kos. The staff are fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again in the future. It might be 3 star rated property but in my eyes it's a 5 star property !!!!!

Stayed for 9 nights in early sept 2014. It's a lovely quiet relaxing three star hotel/ apartment and a great base from which to strike out to see the island. Nice new hotel with pool and very helpful owners.

The hotel was situate on the sea front just 3 kilometres from the main town, and there was a regular and very easy bus service into and back from town, so the location and connectivity was good. The hotel was very new and clean, with a nice lobby and pool. The owners ran the hotel with a lot of TLC (tender loving care), so we were looked after very well and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a good size and clean and comfortable, with a balcony too. The only small issue noticed was that there was no complimentary bottle of water, toiletries or kettle for making tea/coffee included, unlike some other hotels, but that is only a minor thing and overall this was an excellent hotel representing very good value for money. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Perfect relsxation

Owners are lovely informative people only too happy to help. There is an ambience around the hotel that makes you want to relax. Far enough away from the noisy nightlife in kos town but close enough to experience if you want to go there. I wish the owners good luck in their renewed venture as they deserve success.

A wonderful stay in a home away from home

We are a couple in our twenties and stayed at the Andromeda hotel for a week this June. What really made the hotel wonderful is the fact that it is a family run hotel. The owners, Marietta and Gregoris, make the Andromeda feel like a home away from home; they have a genuine caring for their guests and strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel has also been recently refurbished and is in excellent condition. It is in Psalidi which is about 3km for Kos town, and ideal for those who seek some peace and quiet but want to be close to town. Its location is great as there are lots of nice tavernas nearby, and its closeness to town is ideal to leave for any excursions early in the morning, and to visit the thermal waters (which are free and wonderful at night). The beach is just across the road, however we rented a car to make most of our stay; Kos is a small island but all the best things are scattered across it, so a car in our opinion is a must wherever you choose to stay. Overall we were very happy with our stay and sad to have to leave. We highly recommend the Andromeda hotel and will most likely return next year.
