We loved our stay here. Perfect location and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with local reccomendations. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Our favorite was the rooftop breakfast that was provided each morning. We looked forward to it each day. Would definitely love to stay again!

The owner and staff were easy to reach and made us feel well-taken care of. The property is charming and unique. It was more like being welcomed into someone’s home than a hotel. The Malecón, shopping and food options were within easy walking. We enjoyed our stay in La Paz!

Great place to stay

Great place! Great service. Great room. Very comfortable and pleasant. I would stay again. Two things to consider- check that hot tub is working properly. It was a cold tub for us. Bring earplugs as La Paz is filled with dogs, roosters, and cooing white wing doves. There is nothing any hotel can do about that, so no matter where you stay, bring earplugs.

Mexican Charm

This boutique hotel is charming and unique. The rooms are very private and the common spaces beautifully appointed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect. Close to the Malecon, restaurants, and the city center. I highly recommend this lovely property.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at residence las Flores and couldn’t rate it highly enough. The whole space is stunning, service is excellent and there are loads of thoughtful touches and useful amenities including both a coffee and espresso machine provided as standard!

The entire building is beautifully decorated with stunning views on the sea and mountains. The room is spacious with great bedding. The breakfast is an exceptional experience and the staff super nice. The only thing is that depending on the night, dogs around can be pretty loud. The location is near the Malecon, but much quieter.

Attention to details! Itailan owner built and lives in the main house. Very friendly and helpful with his staff.. the room has everything you need.. Breakfast in the morning in a room with a view of the bay was a treat!! The cook makes you something different each day. His Italian restaurant 2 blocks away is fantastic.

Great surprise to find this place! It feels very quaint and unique. There are only 5 rooms, so it feels very private and is quiet. Rooms are cleaned everyday, and they are beautiful and large! We loved the hostess Laura and owner Giuseppe was lovely as well. Breakfast is a great too!

Very clean, secure and relaxed environment. Rooms filled with beautiful art and impeccably decorated. Amazing views of the bay from every floor. Sun deck with hot tub and amenities. Beautiful sitting areas and ambience. Full course breakfast on top floor. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Perfect location for walking to beachfront stores, restaurants, and activities.

I came with 2 guys and we rented 3 rooms. We were in La Paz to fish and dive and see what the dining scene was about in La Paz. When we arrived we were so happy with our accommodations, which were large and clean and had nice linens and towels, and our host/owner Giuseppe and his staff. They treated us as family and friends and helped us figure out where to eat and how to get around. And those breakfasts atop the residence with endless 270 degree veiews were an amazing way to start the day. And the Jacuzzi too one level down was teh perfect was to end the day watching the sunset over the bay of la Paz and the mountains beyond. We will be back.

Very unique hotel with only 5 rooms, each with their own character. We had the Giuseppe Room and it was huge. Bed super comfortable, lots of room towels and towels for the beach. Honour bar in a beautiful loung was a great touch for us as we enjoyed sitting out on the large balcony in the rocking chairs as we watched the neighbourhood and the ocean view. Breakfast (included) was served at the top of the hotel with an exceptional view of the ocean and city. It was gourmet every day, from fish tacos to eggs every style and fresh fruit and coffee. We never ate again until dinner. The hotel is close to the Malecon and Centro and there were lots of great places to eat. If you don’t feel like walking, Uber was an easy and inexpensive option to get around. The only two things to be aware of are that there are lots of stairs! And 24 hour barking dogs around in neighboring properties that can be annoying. Earplugs and AC turned on let us ignore them after the first night. Highly recommend as all staff were very helpful and friendly, it’s a lovely option in La Paz.

Had trouble finding the place. No sign just an address on the door. Drove around many times looking and finally had to call to locate even though we had been there. If you are lucky you can find someone working if you need something. No one was at the front desk or available most of the time. Did an early checkout and was unable to communicate to settle up the bill.

Great stay. Good customer service. Desk is no always maned but we were able to find what we needed. Nice independent living. Amazing property with many areas to sit outside. Sunbathing deck with view of water. Generous treats provided by owner. Good breakfast and knowledgable staff. Rugs in room Stefano need replacing. Window or two need screens for constant ventilation. Air conditioner in living room could use a cleaning as with main chair. Otherwise clean with beautiful furniture and decor. Dogs barking outside. Good location near Malacon. Great to have a little kitchen to cook in but needed microwave. Easy drive to beaches. All in all we Enjoyed our stay.

I promise. You will love this place!!!

WE LOVED THIS PLACE!! So much charm with the perfect touch of class. Decor was perfect. Room was clean and cleaned daily. Room is filled with complimentary water, coffee and snacks. There is multiple levels of hospitality to access and all with a great comfortable set up. Staff was great! Location is great and the view was awesome. Alcohol available on top deck at a very low cost and on an honor system. No need to stock the fridge with alcoholic beverages. The ones available are available at cost. The only problem was that the jacuzzi on the deck was not working. This would have made this place a perfect 10. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this place! Our family loved it, and will always remember it as our favorite hotel, period.

This place has many levels. Most of which are accessible. They are all very well decorated and maintained. The breakfast area (FREE) is at the very top. It is high! Makes you feel like your eating in a very fancy tree house.

A Beautiful Gem Boutique Hotel in La Paz

This place is a beautiful gem and owner Giuseppe and manager Laura are so gracious and helpful. It is a unique property with thoughtful touches and places to explore throughout. I loved hanging with the two property cats, spending time on the rooftop deck (jacuzzi heater isn’t currently working but it wasn’t a problem for me) and being walking distance to the Malecon. The daily breakfast in the tip top dining room with a million dollar view was fantastic, and they have a snack basket and drinks (no charge!) in your room that are replenished daily. Love the communal game/entertainment room with a full honor system bar and the rooftop lounge area. I even made a new friend as there was another solo woman traveler staying there! If you’re a fan of special boutique hotels and having an experience— you will love this place. May not be a great option for those who can’t do stairs or aren’t in decent shape. I would absolutely stay there again & wish them all the best.

Excellent except barking dogs

Residence Las Flores is really special and beautiful. The service is excellent. Both the property owner Giuseppe and the manger Laura were friendly and helpful. We love the design and furnishing of the property. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. They also provide free snacks and water/soda everyday. Breakfast is exceptional - food was great and abundant. The view from the dining room is spectacular. It’s an easy walk to the Malecon and the neighbourhood seems safe. We would have given a 5 out of 5 for Overall if it wasn’t for the barking dogs from the neighbor’s house. There were three dogs and one of them barks whenever there’s a passerby. The owner of the dogs doesn’t seem to keep the dogs inside at night so you hear it a few times throughout the night and early morning despite having all the windows closed and white noise played on our phone. We are light sleepers so we basically didn’t sleep well most of our nights. Unfortunately there was nothing Giuseppe could do further - he kindly bought us ear plugs and talked to the neighbour but it sounded like the neighbor wasn’t willing to give way. We would love to return to Residence Las Flores when we visit La Paz in the future but our only reservation was the barking dogs.

Hot tub doesn't work + other issues. Pretty views.

We booked specifically for the hot tub which was not heated. We were told it would be 85 degrees, but it was always freezing. A hot tub was the most important thing to us in booking a place, especially as our trip was in January, but no assistance was offered. The owner came up to me after I emailed about the issue and basically said that it wouldn't work when it was windy or cold outside, but that it would be on and working at 85 degrees the next day from noon to three. We planned our day around going back at the hours he specified, but it was even colder than the previous evening. It seems like they are just trying to save on costs and not heat it. The owner was pretty rude about the issue and kept trying to speak to my male partner instead of discussing the issue with me (a female). That was the only problem for us, but I also think it should be more clear that this hotel is not a good choice for anyone with physicality issues (many narrow stairs are required and the elevator is a scary, small plywood box) or with any allergies or issues with cats. The cats are friendly, but they have free reign. One of them ran into our hotel room at night. No one was around to help, so we had to crawl under the bed to catch it and take it out.

Disfrutamos mucho la estancia. Personal muy agradable. El Desayuno en rooftop fue una deliciosa experiencia. Cerca de restaurantes deliciosos, a 150 mts caminando recomiendo la estancia uruguaya. Viaje fabuloso
