This property is overpriced for what it offers, From outside looks great, but Rooms would definitely need an update, hallways have a pee smelling, on top of that you need to pay daily parking. Room service was friendly though

The only thing that was somewhat enjoyable about this property were some of the amenities such as the pool, water slides, and lazy river. Our room was ocean view but yet we were right above the pool area and only had the view of the pool beneath us and palm trees located next to the pool area blocking our view of the ocean. The room was FILTHY with stained pillowcases as well as the bed covers. The microwave was dirty and rusted. After complaining they did drop off a trash bag with clean bedding for us to change and a brand new microwave. The 4 chairs in the room were dirty with all types of food crumbs in the cracks and crevices. We did request for a different room and were told that if we switched rooms, the room that we were currently in would be “down” for the whole night and instead were offered free arcade cards.

Very dirty, cockroaches everywhere, the worst money I ever spend on a hotel, if you have kids keep them far away from this hotel.

The Crown Reef Resort was a great option for Family. The resort was kept well and the pool, lazy river, 11 jacuzzi’s and waterpark was a huge plus. Every room is oceanfront view, as well as viewing a majority of the pool area, so it was beautiful and calming. My only complaint is that they advertise an indoor heated pool, which was never heated. Overall, a really good family trip

The bathrooms are disgusting and do not get cleaned through out the day. The first floor bathroom was so clogged with bowel movements and paper towels thrown all over the floor and in the second floor bathroom, a big spill I saw in the am was still there at 9pm when I went back in and all dried up on floor), housekeeping went in one day to our room and gave clean towels, toilet paper, took our garbage and then left our door wide open while we were gone the entire day. The other days, housekeeping never came and we had to call to get things (but you have to call more than once because they won't come the first time). Cockroaches are here in the hallways, mold (which my son is very allergic to) was visible in more than one spot in the room, the only restaurant here (#lokogecko) has about two servers, no bartender most of the time and you will be waiting for someone to wait on you for over 30 minutes. When asked to switch my room, they said they would put us in an "owners suite" but come to find out it was just another room like the one we had .. just as disgusting and now caught them in a lie. Pools don't get upkeep through out the day, of course people are going to throw garbage and be messy-it happens I get it.. but to not walk around trying to keep the pool clean? My son has autism and would not even go in the majority of the pools because he was so grossed out from things floating in there-as was I!. We were there entire week and asked for linens multiple times and never got any. we asked them to change the sheets and garbage in the room, it never happens. the site is extremely dirty and mold is growing under the ice machines.

We arrived early, we called the property to see if early check in was an option, they said before ten there was a fee after noon there was no fee. We arrived around 1230 to be told that there were no early check in options available. We had no where to go and my 3 year old granddaughter with us. The property is also very noisy at night, lots of activity going on all night.

There’s so much potential for this place. The room set up is nice and gives enough space for small family of 4. Main bed was comfortable, Murphy bed needs some help and forget the pull out sofa bed, my 7 year old didn’t even like it. The humidifier is a nice touch however some instruction ahead of time so as not to flood your room multiple times would have been nice, not everyone knows to empty it daily. It could have been a little cleaner inside the room, dust bunnies were living their best life. The free use of pool/beach towels is nice though bigger folks may not enjoy the size. I was good with it. The proximity to the beach from the pool area can not be beat. Loved it! Dining options is a major fail!! I get being on island time but folks travel with littles and to make them wait over an hour for food is not the way to keep folks coming back. Being told you are closed when you are the only food option is also not the way to go especially when the sign states otherwise. The food is really good if you don’t mind waiting for it and you don’t want to door dash. They need to get more food options and stop closing the pool bar at 5pm that makes zero sense when the pool is open til 11pm. All in all, we will return now that we know to hit the grocery store before arriving and stock the fridge with your own snacks. Do NOT rent cabana 7. Listen or don’t. If you like filthy, stained, palm tree dropping infused mattresses with ants go ahead with 7, otherwise I suggest 1-5

We have been going here every summer for years now. Sometimes the staff are hard to understand and the elevators are horrible. Elevators don’t have any type of air circulating through them. Overall this place is clean and safe for families. Love my Crown Reef

This is a dated hotel. We were given the option of paying a fair amount of moneyfor “potential damages” or an expensive deposit to be reimbursed in 2 weeks. I chose the latter then asked for here should I email photos of damages I see in our room on arrival. I was told there was no email. I took photos and saw 7 areas of damage in our room. Not a great experience
