Reminiscent of childhood getaways but modernised with all the essentials – including comfy furniture, a smart TV, air conditioning in the living room, ceiling fan in the main bedroom and pedestal fan in the third bedroom, Nespresso machine, and portable Bluetooth speaker – this character-filled, open plan beach house is all about relaxed living.
Slap on some sunscreen and throw on your thongs as you head out the door first thing in the morning, and take a short, leisurely walk to Warrain Beach, Culburra Beach, or Lake Wollumboola to get your fill of swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and any just about any other water-based adventure you can think of!
When it’s time for lunch you can grab some fish and chips from the local takeaway shop or cook up a fresh feast on the BBQ. Then shake the sand from your feet and pull up a chair outside to enjoy watching the kids tire themselves out on the massive lawn, ideal for backyard cricket, kicking the footy, and playing fetch with the dog.
As the day ends, settle down with a book, board game, or movie, and know that the memories you create at Idle Hours will be cherished by your family forever.

- Please note that we supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. Great easy walk down to the beach with leash free options for our dog. A wonderful cafe just up the road (Fishwicks). A good central spot to explore other beaches/waterways by car, like Currawong, Callala and Greenwell Point, along with a run into Nowra.

Everything one family needs 5 mins from 2 beaches
has everything you could need (except maybe a pool!). Backyard is absolutely massive! Suburb does not have much going on. This place is all about closeness (<5min walk) to 2 awesome beaches. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay there.

My 2 sons and I and my dog had a lovely 2 nights there for my mothers funeral. 2 of the bedrooms were small but ok. My 6 foot son couldn’t fit in the bunks. Extremely clean and lovely big yard for my dog.

Our approach to property management is that we want you to feel that the property is your own for a few days. As such we limit our communications to a few important emails, but otherwise we will leave you alone! If you are looking for a host that provides welcome platters on arrival, champagne in the fridge and who will contact you throughout your stay, we may not be the right host for you.
What you will get from us are well equipped, fairly priced, pet and family friendly holiday homes that are loved by their owners.
We work in a people business and very infrequently things go wrong - if this happens we will do our best to rectify the situation immediately. In busy periods it may take us a few hours to get to messages so picking up the phone is the fastest and best way for us to provide you with the support you need in an urgent situation.
As we are a licensed real estate agent you can be assured that all properties are fully insured, meet fire safety standards and are registered with NSW planning.
