My room badly needed a deep cleaning and fresh paint. Maybe two deep cleans. Property was cute to view but once you open your door all smell is cigarette smoke from folks smoking right outside their doors. Seems like most of these rooms were for longer term renters as they were up all night banging around. On a positive note, Michelle, the property manager was professional, courteous, and helpful!

The room was adorable and so cozy. Check in was easy, it’s on a separate property but it’s walking distance. 2 doors down maybe. We stayed on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. It is a 1 minute or less walk/bike ride to the river so on top of being in a cute little nook, there was plenty of bike riding, walking, hiking for us to do. I normally stay at chain hotels, and I am miserable EVERY time. However, the only complaint I have here is the batteries in the remote were dead. Easy fix for the amazing night of sleep I had no idea I was in for that night. The property is quaint and welcoming, but parking is tight. If you like to call the hotel desk and complain a lot or ask for things throughout your stay, this is not the one for you. It’s very simple, but loaded with convenience as far as the amenities in the room and the beauty/nature of the area. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a cute, quiet stay right by the water in south Florida. Hidden gem for sure.

Walls were paper thin. First room we got was not really clean. All TVs were unplugged and found a Cheeto on the floor. The room didn’t smell fresh. They gave us a free upgrade and the guy at the desk was apologetic and was nice. But this property is also right across the street from the railroad tracks.

Great value for your money.

At first glance it’s not too pleasing to the eyes. Weathered spongy ramp access, poorly lit, by a street light across the street. Upon entering I discovered a freshly renovated living space, 95% of everything inside was brand new. I had the signature bungalow. Dining area, full kitchen bathroom, and behind its own door, the bedroom, had its own separate bathroom. Two flatscreen TVs loaded with plenty to watch. Now, that being said, here are the few things I feel need work. Two vehicles were parked with their grills three feet out of my bedroom window, and I was woken up from my sleep several times each day with their horns when they locked them up after being parked, they shouldn’t be allowed to park in my spaces whether I have a car or not. If I was in my own car, where would I park??? Attached to my portion of the house was a carport with a dusty old car with 4 flats. Between that and my living room wall was a small room, maybe an old utility room, with access behind the building. Every sound the person in that tiny room made, I heard, dirty movies, whatever, but even with my TV volume up, you could tell if someone was home next door or not! It needs soundproofing! We saw a few roaches, but two in a week wouldn’t be what I would call a roach problem. Not very nice though! I still feel I got a good deal, would I stay there again? In a second!!!

The property had limited amenities. There is no ice machines or other similar conveniences. same with the small kitchen, yes coffee machine but no coffee. Similarly the tv never worked. The hotel has roku smart sets they expect you to use your personal accounts to access programs. Despite privacy concerns I tried but the smart tv did not recognize my iPhone. However, my biggest issue was the lack of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in the room.

It’s always a pleasure staying here, we enjoy that the surrounding community is very quiet, stores are in walking distance, and comfortable as well as the kitchen that’s fully stocked with utensils since I’ll still do some cooking on vacation.

The room was decent. The concierge was difficult to get in touch with in the late hours. The tv remotes were missing and the couch had stain on it as well as condom wrappers under the cushion. First and last time.
