The main problem with this place is its location: it is in a very rundown area , and the man sleeping rough next to the main door did not help. Room was clean . Staff good —though I was disappointed to be told that for my 6 day stay , my towels would not be changed . The breakfast was extremely good ,and the two men looking after it were very helpful .

quite acceptable one night stay

Considering its price, this hotel seems pretty good and well located in Marseille, with parking and a metro station nearby, although the area isn't very clean and we encountered too many homeless people. The staff, with the exception of the one who checked us in, was very friendly. The rooms are perfectly adequate and well furnished.

A really good location with the underground only 200m from the hotel. Very friendly check in, most helpful for stranger to the city. Nice room, and very quiet. Really nice for the four days we were there.

Nice and clean

The room is very nice. Everything was clean and smelling good. Receptionist speaks English too. Comfortable bed, balcony and tv. It's not close to the center, but there's a bus stop nearby.

Below average hotel. Good staff.

Hotel looks less hygene than the pictures. SOme of the guests are extremely loud and the walls are pretty thin to be soundproof. However, the staff is very understanding and they can make sure your situation is improved.

Fantastic deal

Super nice people willing to help. Friday night its very complicated to park because there is a market saturday morning close by, but, they offered a discount in the parking just below the hotel. Saturday was super easy in the street and priceless. Subway really close. The appartement was newly painted and smelled strong but it was super clean and fabtastic views from the terrace. We will be back.

Dusty room

There was renovation work going on in the hallway and the room was full of construction dust. The dust was not cleaned up even though we pointed it out. Wifi works poorly or not at all.

I stayed here in May 2024 as a solo traveler and unfortunately experienced a bed bug issue. I saw visible bed bugs (apple seed–sized) in the elevator on the first day and woke up on the second day with painful, swollen bites all down my arm. I reported it to reception and was refunded for the cost of medication I had to buy — but nothing more was done. I didn’t know at the time that I had the right to leave or request a full refund, and I was too anxious to leave a public review, but I want to share this now so others are aware. The hotel staff were polite, but the situation was serious and not adequately resolved. I hope this is no longer an issue, but please check your room thoroughly before settling in

The hotel suited our purposes and was convenient to public transportation and a pleasant daily street market. However, the first room we were given had not been cleaned. To their credit, they did not hesitate and moved us to another room. The second room we were given was comfortable, adequately large, equipped with a kitchenette, had a window that could be open to let in fresh air, and had a large comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there was not a sense of cleanliness or attention to detail by the hotel - the bottom of the bathroom door was extremely water damaged and needed repair, one light fixture and art on the wall was crooked, and the holes and mismatched paint had not been attended to after replacing a light fixture in the bathroom. The front desk staff, however, was attentive and helpful.

Reprehensible Residhotel

Ok. I'm not one to knock hotels and lodgings but, with this one i will make an exception. The hotel is not in the nicest bit of town. It had some homeless and other dubious characters hanging around. The hotel itself is in need of an upgrade. Personally I'd pull it down and start again. The rooms are dark with the strangest lighting set up I've seen in years. The bathroom stank. The towels were grubby. One light above the sink. The beds were ok but the pillows should have been condemned to the bin years ago. Having said that, it's not the worst hotel I've stayed in. The staff were nice and there is a Carrefour supermarket really close which has most stuff. I only stayed here due to there being a couple of events which had taken up the hotels which i would usually stay in. Never again! Avoid if you can.
