Nice place in Marseille

It was my second stay at this Hotel. Great area to stay in Marseille, near the metro and easy access to the beach and the Port. Very nice Studio.

A little home away from home

ResidHotel Prado is a good budget option. I’ve stayed here several times. The beds are a little tired but I like the fact that the rooms have kitchenettes, bathrooms are renovated nicely with great water pressure for the showers. I enjoy it’s location, it’s secure, the neighborhood is safe with several public transit options to get around the city and bus connection to all of the beaches, and it’s a quieter option than staying in the center which is easy to get to on foot, tram or metro.

Reprehensible Residhotel

Ok. I'm not one to knock hotels and lodgings but, with this one i will make an exception. The hotel is not in the nicest bit of town. It had some homeless and other dubious characters hanging around. The hotel itself is in need of an upgrade. Personally I'd pull it down and start again. The rooms are dark with the strangest lighting set up I've seen in years. The bathroom stank. The towels were grubby. One light above the sink. The beds were ok but the pillows should have been condemned to the bin years ago. Having said that, it's not the worst hotel I've stayed in. The staff were nice and there is a Carrefour supermarket really close which has most stuff. I only stayed here due to there being a couple of events which had taken up the hotels which i would usually stay in. Never again! Avoid if you can.

J' avais reservé une journée supplémentaire et la veille, j’ai demandé à la réception à régler la réservation et on m' a répondu que j' avais mal compris et que l’hôtel etait complet. Je n’avais pas le moyen de locomotion et je n’avais pas prévu retourner chez moi le lendemain.Quand j' ai ramassé mes affaires, le matin suivant, à 10h15, on m' a appelé de la réception pour régler le jour supplémentaire. J’ai expliqué qu’on m’ avait dit lr jour d’avant que l’hôtel était complet. Finalement on a pu récupérer la réserve mais j’ai eu vraiment très peur de ne plus avoir de logement.

I stayed here in May 2024 as a solo traveler and unfortunately experienced a bed bug issue. I saw visible bed bugs (apple seed–sized) in the elevator on the first day and woke up on the second day with painful, swollen bites all down my arm. I reported it to reception and was refunded for the cost of medication I had to buy — but nothing more was done. I didn’t know at the time that I had the right to leave or request a full refund, and I was too anxious to leave a public review, but I want to share this now so others are aware. The hotel staff were polite, but the situation was serious and not adequately resolved. I hope this is no longer an issue, but please check your room thoroughly before settling in

I booked the room with the Terrance, and didn’t receive it. Paid more for that but didn’t get it. Not too happy with that!! I should get some credit back for what I paid at the time! Or it was just false advertisement!!

quite acceptable one night stay

Considering its price, this hotel seems pretty good and well located in Marseille, with parking and a metro station nearby, although the area isn't very clean and we encountered too many homeless people. The staff, with the exception of the one who checked us in, was very friendly. The rooms are perfectly adequate and well furnished.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. L’appartement était très propre, bien équipé et parfaitement situé. Mention spéciale pour la terrasse, spacieuse et agréable, idéale pour se détendre en fin de journée. L’accueil a été chaleureux et tout s’est déroulé sans souci. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Douche spacieuse et pratique, chambre propre, conforme à la description (serviettes, sèche cheveux, kitchenette etc). Très bien! Endroit calme et climatisation fonctionnelle (ce qui est très appréciable). Petit souci de télécommande, télévision et wifi mais rien de bien important. Je recommande cet hôtel!

Nicht empfehlenswert!

Die Zimmer waren dreckig und es war überhaupt kein Service inbegriffen. Hätte man die Küche nicht sauber hinterlassen, hätte man 45€ zahlen müssen und für eine komplette Reinigung muss man auch drauf zahlen, was eine Unverschämtheit ist, wenn man fürs Zimmer sowieso schon 50€+ zahlt. Das Frühstück, das man zu den 50€+, zu den 100€ Kaution, zu den reinigungskosten und zu den 2€+ täglich, bezahlen muss, ist ebenfalls nicht preis-leistungsorientiert.
