Fernanda and her colleagues were wonderful. The only thing that was so so, was the lack of air conditioning in the flat. We were provided with mobile units that unfortunately didn't do a great job, so we endured some very warm days in the flat.

The property is excellent. The apartments are well decorated and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The rooftop is a wonderful place to meditate or get work done.

Loved the location and the rooftop. Rooms are hot and there a little fan that doesn’t help much, bed is comfortable and staff is nice. Especially Antonio, he is the front desk gentleman and he is helpful and kind.

Everything you need and a great location!

Loves this property. The rooms are beautifully done and have everything you need for your stay in Mexico City. Loved the drinking water tap! The rooftop is amazing, great place to read with a coffee, and the views of the city from there are amazing! The location is also very convenient to get around both walking and with the metro bus. The hotel is right on insurgentes so the hotel provides you with earplugs just in case, but I didn’t even need them (I don’t mind the noise of traffic personally, which isn’t super loud beyond the window — we were on the 3rd floor so maybe that helped?). Will stay here again on my next trip to CDMX in June!

The employees working there are AMAZING - I loved that we had a laundry room with soap etc on every other floor. Never got to see the roof but that’s because I was always busy elsewhere. Would stay here again It’s not exactly in Roma unless you wanna walk 15-20 mins each way. That’s why 1 star

Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, WiFi internet was fast, front desk guard was helpful and poilte, and there is a washer/dryer where I could do laundry for the week. Cons: The overall neighborhood is great (La Condesa is beautiful and green with a very large park at its center), but the hotel's specific location is not. The noise from the street outside is extremely loud. I made the mistake of staying here during the week of Dia de los Muertos, and there were literally hundreds of kids cruising up and down the block on their motorcycles, from around 9pm to midnight or later, revving their engines and honking their horns. Even with the ear plugs that the hotel provides, the noise disrupted my sleep schedule (and therefore my work schedule) for the whole week. Also, the hot water took a long time to come on, and it wasn't even that hot when it eventually appeared.

EstĂĄ en un buen lugar, hay un sĂșper cerca y muchos lugares donde comer o tomar un cafĂ©. La habitaciĂłn deja algo que desear. Para empezar, deberĂ­an aclarar que el aire acondicionado es un aire portĂĄtil, que si bien logra enfriar algo no hace el mismo trabajo que un equipo fijo. AdemĂĄs, esto hace que la ventana que estĂĄ en la habitaciĂłn donde estĂĄ la cocina no se pueda cerrar, lo que hace que el ruido y el aroma de los puestos callejeros de comida que estĂĄn en la esquina entren desde temprano (el sonido es tolerable ya que incluso incluyen tapones para oĂ­dos pero el aroma a aceite y garnachas nada lo tapa). La habitaciĂłn en general estĂĄ OK, aunque necesita mantenimiento. AdemĂĄs, algunas cosas no tienen sentido: del lado de la cama donde estĂĄ el burĂł no hay interruptor para encender y apagar las luces de la cabecera; la zona donde estĂĄ el escritorio no tiene conexiĂłn para conectar una laptop o algĂșn otro equipo; la televisiĂłn estĂĄ conectada con un cable parchado que va al aire acondicionado portĂĄtil que deja mucho que desear; la habitaciĂłn tiene un armario improvisado para colgar ropa que estĂĄ encima del burĂł de la cama, a menos que seas una persona muy alta es imposible usarlo; el baño tenĂ­a la manija suelta, no se podĂ­a cerrar la puerta; y los muebles que estĂĄn en la cocina a manera de desayunador son la cosa mĂĄs incĂłmoda del mundo, no se a quien se le ocurriĂł que una mesa alta con periqueras era ideal para una habitaciĂłn. Honestamente, no dan ganas de regresar.

As a solo traveler I felt very safe here, loved that there was always staff at the entrance. The apartment I stayed in was nice and clean. The separate water dispenser in kitchen sink for drinking water was soooooo nice to have access to clean water at any time. It was always so easy to catch an uber within minutes from right outside the door. Loved that there were a few vegan restaurants/eateries within a block. Also a convenience store right next door. The traffic is loud at night but they provide ear plugs and sound machine. My only complaint was how hot my room was
unbearable to sleep for me. Even with fans provided I had such a hard time sleeping because it was hot and stuffy. The AC unit just blows sir but doesn’t cool. So if you need a cool space in order to sleep this is not it but if that doesn’t bother you then this is a great choice.

We had an almost two week-long stay here recently, and found the area to be great in terms of shopping, dining, and leisure options. The area was safe, staff were always friendly and accommodating. The only major downside is that the room we stayed in got SO HOT, especially at night. Despite there being two fans, something about the setup made it so hot... add to that, the fans need regular cleaning or they just end up blowing around soot. The bed and shower were comfortable, and the free washers and dryers were appreciated. The added kitchen area was cute.

Casa Kukun is definitely be a place I would stay at in Mexico City again. The property is clean, safe and super walkable to many restaurants, food vendors, gym, buses and more. Security is very welcoming and kind. The apartment was spacious but did get warm during the day. Bed was great and comfortable. Shower could use more pressure and stay hot for longer but overall a great stay! Would highly recommend.

I had a great time staying at Kukun. My unit was clean, newly renovated and modern. I had a small kitchenette where I brewed Kukun house coffee each morning. The bed was comfy and my shower was also great. I had no issues with hot water and the water pressure was very good. The rooftop has awesome 360 views of the city. I preferred it to the aibnbs and hotel where my friends stayed on the trip. I’d definitely stay there again.
