Wonderful stay in a specal place!

Pasquale was an excellent host! Very kind,attentive and helpful. The property is very pretty and has an interesting history and locaton. The shuttle service makes it very easy to get into and out of town in minutes. Highly recommend!!

The lemon farm

The owner of the property is very helpful and accommodating. He has the comfort of his guests as a priority! Because the property is uphill from the city center he provides a shuttle bus for his guests to make moving around convenient! He sent me a message with all the details and the location of the shuttle with clear directions to get there from the train station. I can’t say enough good things about the convenience of this stay! The owner also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and swimming areas around ! Thank you

Bom lugar pra se hospedar

Fomos muito bem atendidas na hospedagem. A casa fica no alto da colina, mas tem uma van que faz o transporte dos hospedes durante quase todo o dia, o que ajuda muito. O Pascale, que é o proprietário, é uma simpatia. Buscou a gente quando chegamos e no dia seguinte deu carona pra cidade e sempre estava disponível e muito solicito. Foi ótima a nossa estadia.

I don’t normally post reviews so this is a first. Unfortunately this apartment was not for us, despite the previous good reviews. The owner is very helpful and the apartment is in a nice quiet location. However the accommodation was not as described on the website. We booked an apartment that had two bedrooms for our family of five people, two adults and three children. The accommodation however only had one bedroom with a double bed. The three extra single beds were all positioned within the living space of the accommodation. This space space had to be walked through to reach the main entrance of the apartment and the kitchen. The apartment also suffers from damp as evidence by peeling plaster at low level, the damp colour on the walls coming off onto my suitcase, swimsuits we hung up to dry for 3 days and still hadn’t fully dried. I spoke with the owner at the time to raise my disappointment with him but he did not understand my complaint. He did not have any other apartments with 2 bedrooms so not a lot he could do I guess. I will be complaining to Expedia about the description on their site.

Under the lemon trees

We stayed for a week in Gardenia, one of four apartments at Casale Nunziatina. Pasquale, the owner, lives on the top floor. Pasquale initiated email contact about a week before our stay, and offered to pick us up at the Sorrento train station, which we gratefully accepted. The apartment is spacious, our apartment garden area under the lemon trees is fabulous, and the host is gracious, informative and helpful. The only way to the apartment is a steep, very narrow road bounded by high walls - most cars which travel this road have badly scraped sides and some are missing side mirrors. The only truly dangerous part of walking to the apartment is 50 metres of the main road where the sidewalk ends and the turn up to the apartments begin. Previous visitors to Sorrento area will note that this is a common problem.

An oasis in Sorrento

This accommodation provides an oasis of calm relaxation only a short walk from bustling Sorrento, and is well equipped and comfortable. We loved being able to retreat in the evening to a quiet leafy setting surrounded by a beautiful mediterranean garden, and then to enjoy an undisturbed night's sleep. There is a bit of exertion in walking uphill to the apartment, but we considered it well worth the effort. This is a wonderful base for exploring the whole region.
