Extremely value-for-money

I really loved this place - for a four star hotel with very good room conditions plus an excellent location along the main road (<5 min walking distance to Checkpoint Charlie and just outside the train station), the rates are really a very good bargain.

Great location. Easy to get around

Hotel staff needs to smile more. Reception staff was totally unfriendly. Hotel amenities are not free even if you're a staying guest. It cost 7.50 euros to use the sauna. No complimentary water. Room was comfortable and warm. Right in the heart of Charlie checkpoint. Overall a good stay but would not recommend this hotel.

Good, reasonably priced stay

I picked this hotel for a short sight seeing break just before Christmas. It is conveniently located near to Checkpoint Charlie and the U-bahn. The stay felt a little strange on arrival compared to many since there is no reception; it is all done via their website, app or WhatsApp, resulting in a pin code supplied before arrival. It all worked just fine for me, no issues getting to my room at all. There is a small lounge area inside the front door, but otherwise it is mostly just the rooms. Mine was one of the ones with a kitchenette - so microwave, fridge, small hob, sink and matching utensils. It is good for a small amount of cooking, but nothing very big. The room was a reasonable size, and bed was comfy. Had everything you might expect. It looked out into a light well in the middle of the building and had a door that could open into this which was good if it got too hot. Not complaints, was a good place to stay.

The location was very good there was an underground right outside and a bus stop down the road. I would note that the under ground is under the hotel so it can be very noisy. No workers to greet you. Don’t think I saw a worker the entire time I was there. You check in yourself, you do everything via WhatsApp. No human touch at all. The room smelt like sewage and carpet was hard. You have pay for your room to be cleaned which I thought was stupid and should be included in your bill. Doors did not have any chains on and as a female made me feel unsafe.

Great location

It was a great place to stay. Excellent location and the facilities were mostly really great. Only a couple of issues. The bathroom needs a vent. It’s like a sauna. It would be good to have housekeeping on at least one day to get fresh towels etc. we also had a lot of noise from construction on the last morning that was very inconvenient at 0715 am.

Pænt og centralt beliggende hotel.

Rigtig pænt og behageligt hotel tæt på alting. Billederne er meget retvisende. Det var nemt at tjekke ind og ud - dog skal man færdiggøre en profil inden man kommer. Det havde vi misset, så vi skulle finde pasnumre osv. frem ved ankomst. Hjælpelinjen til Numa var rigtig behjælpelig og talte tydeligt og letforståelig engelsk. Der blev ikke skiftet håndklæder og tømt skraldespand, mens vi var der. Det var fint for os, men måske en udfordring, hvis man fx skulle være på hotellet i længere tid. Jeg ved ikke, om det var muligt at få gjort. Vi kommer rigtig gerne igen.
