Villa Pinheira III is prepared to receive up to 4 guests, making it an ideal option for families visiting the island of Madeira. With a welcoming decor that invites guests to feel at home, it has a living and dining room, an equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a fabulous outdoor dining area where you can relax. In this sophisticated vacation home you will find amenities such as Smart TV, WiFi, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and more...
Outside relax on the sun loungers or take a dip in the heated pool and enjoy delicious grilled meat and fish on the barbecue.

This Villa is located in a calm and central area
A 10-minute drive from the beach and Marina of Calheta and Vila da Ponta do Sol. A short drive away, you can also reach the top of Paul da Serra or do some hiking.

The house has a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room measuring approximately 40 m2. Here you will find simultaneously the large kitchen, reading area and TV area. All on one floor, there are two bedrooms, all with sea views. Two bathrooms, both with large shower.
Outdoor area with heated pool, sun loungers and lots of sun exposure

Green surroundings and panoramic views over the Estreito da Calheta. Very good sun exposure. Casa da Pinheira sits on a hillside overlooking the pretty village of Estreito da Calheta, in southwest Madeira. This stretch of coast, known as the, has some of the most beautiful views in Madeira and as such is quickly becoming the place to live and holiday for the most discerning. The house is self-contained and set in well-kept gardens with terraces for alfresco dining and sunbathing. It also has a barbecue area. Inside the house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a high contemporary standard. The main bedroom has a double bed and a large bathroom. The other bedroom has two single beds. Both bathrooms have showers. The large open-plan living area has a sofa, cable TV, DVD, video and CD player and a dining table. For the winter months there are oil radiators for the bedrooms. The kitchen has large cabinets with granite countertops, electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. Wi-Fi is available.

Parking directly at the house

It is also about 5 km from Jardim do Mar, where surfing is practiced.

We are just 40 km from Funchal Marina, 55 km from the airport, 4.5 km from Praia da Calheta. Arranging a rental car is recommended.

Please note that this is a non-smoking house. Cleaning, bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.

The house is ideally situated for the beach and levada walks.

Beautiful and relaxing

We ended our two week Portugal trip spending 5 nights at this house. It was perfect! The house is light filled and had all the comforts needed. The pool and view were fantastic. The location was excellent. We were not in the busy city but in 30 minutes, we could be at nearly everything we had planned. We went on a hike close to our house which was so nice. A not to be missed attraction is the Tiki pub just down the street. Highly recommend!

A wonderful villa with a stunning view

A superb property - large, airy and extremely well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was warm and clean and a fair size. The views were stunning! Jorge was easy to communicate with and made sure everything was perfect for us. A car is essential for getting around. Thank you Jorge for a wonderful week!

Tolles Haus mit wunderbarem Blick

Wir haben das Haus 1 Woche gebucht und uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt. Jorge ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und immer gut erreichbar. Der Blick von der Terrasse / Pool auf das Meer ist traumhaft. Der Pool war sehr angenehm beheizt. Inventar ist alles da, was man benötigt. Geputzt war alles sehr ordentlich bei der Anreise, jedoch sind Teppiche im Wohnbereich und Sitzkissen draußen bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehen nicht mehr so schön aus. Das sollte mal richtig gereinigt oder ausgetauscht werden. Morgens kann der Verkehr hinter / neben dem Haus bei einigen alten LKW schon mal ein bisschen lauter sein. So ganz idyllisch ruhig, wie es von anderen Nutzern beschrieben ist, ist es nicht. Nachts war es aber sehr ruhig, sodass wir gut schlafen konnten. Uns selbst hat es aber nicht so sehr gestört. Die Pukiki Bar in der Nähe hat uns den ein oder anderen Abend noch versüßt.

Lovely villa

Lovely property with wonderful view sea views. The villa is in a good location, well equipped, very clean and comfortable beds. Jorge was very helpful providing us with local information & even details of road closures for the car rally that took place in Calheta during our stay.

Perfect

Fantastic spacious house with amazing views and heated pool. The owners was very helpful- there was an issue with the WiFi when we arrived and they went out of their way to sort it out quickly. Calheta beach front is about 10 min away by car. We had an excellent stay and we would definitely recommend.

Wonderful villa

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in dem Ferienhaus von Jorge verbracht und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Man hat von der Terrasse einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Es gab wirklich nichts zu bemängeln und man konnte sich super erholen. Zudem hat sich Jorge auch erkundigt, ob uns etwas fehlt oder wir noch etwas brauchen. Wir können das Ferienhaus zu 100 % weiter empfehlen.

Perfekter Urlaub

Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Pool ist traumhaft. Auch wenn es etwas ausserhalb von Funchal ist, ist es den Weg absolut Wert. Jorge wäre bei Problemen jederzeit ansprechbar gewesen. Auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl.

the house and the equipment is really excellent

whatever you need in the house; it is there. If any questions the owner helps immediately and effectiv. The pool is wonderful as the house, it is also quite central so you can quickly go to all the island places.

wunderschönes, modernes Haus mit einem traumhaften Ausblick

Wir haben mit unserer 10 -Jährigen Tochter 2 wunderschöne Wochen in der Villa verbracht. Die Villa ist sehr sauber, gepflegt, hat eine tolle und hochwertige Ausstattung. Der beheizte Pool war ein Traum - wir haben ihn jeden Tag benutzt. Die Vermieter Jorge und seine Frau Celeste sind sehr herzlich und stehen für Fragen stets zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.

Strongly recommended

Dieses individuelle, moderne Haus mit der schönen Terrasse und dem Pool entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Wir haben von hier aus im Mai eine Woche lang mit dem Mietwagen Madeira entdeckt. Der Kontakt mit Jorge und seiner Familie - sofern erforderlich - ist völlig unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Man sollte wissen, dass in Hörweite die Straße verläuft, was man innerhalb des Hauses aber gar nicht bemerkt.

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollen Gastgebern!

Wir durften 17 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen und es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einer tollen, voll ausgestatteten Küche, und unheimlich bequemen Betten. Der Blick auf den Atlantik, den man aus fast allen Zimmern genießen kann, übertrifft aber alles. Den beheizten Pool haben wir fast jeden Tag genutzt und die nach Süden ausgerichtete Terrasse lädt auch Anfang März zum Sonnenbaden ein. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem - vor allem auch sehr sauberen - Haus also voll und ganz genossen! Wie hier bereits berichtet wurde, dürfen bei einem Aufenthalt ein oder mehrere Besuche in der tollen und fußläufig zu erreichenden Pukiki-Bar im Ort nicht fehlen: tolle Cocktails und sehr nette Gastgeber! Herzlichen Dank Jorge! Wir hoffen auf ein baldiges Wiederkommen!

Einfach genial

Eine sehr schöne Villa und sehr ländlich-ruhig gelegen im kleinen Dorf mit wenigen Häusern und keinen Hotelanlagen was in Madeira schon fast eine Seltenheit geworden ist. Trotz Februar sehr angenehm-warmer Pool. Das Haus ist sehr modern und technisch sehr gut ausgestattet auch mit einem Weber Grill. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Jorge is a helpful, welcoming and available host. House is as advertised; well equipped and functional with great views . Amenities very accessible - mini market and lovely little bar hosted by Martin and Carla a short stroll away. Funchall just 25 mins away by car.. Liked Joe's bar in the next village Jardim do Mar and great fish cooked at Bar Ideal, Paul do May

AMAZING!!!

This villa is the nicest we have ever stayed in. Our party of 4 adults loved everything about it and Jorge and his wife have equipped it to a very high standard. The views are absolutely amazing. I would recommend hiring a car as there is not a lot within walking distance. Jorge was on the end of the phone to help with any queries. Excellent host. Cannot recommend this villa enough.

Sehr gepflegt und hochwertig ist das Haus

Lage ist ruhig, trotz des Tunneleingang in der Nähe. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort vorhanden und ein großer Supermarkt in Calheta lässt keine Wünsche offen. Fie Lage und der Pool sind genial, wir kommen wieder.

Perfect location to relax - after the first step in the house you feel home

The house is perfect for 3-4 people and has everything you need - and even more. The view from every room is spectacular! It is a very nice and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you Celeste and Jorge for a unforgettable vacation.

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt

Erst einmal "best regards" für Jorge und seine Betreuung. Bereits im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation mit Jorge brilliant und sehr zügig. Auch als sich unsere Anreise um doch einen halben Tag verspätete, hatte uns Jorge noch um Mitternacht, ganz selbstverständlich, empfangen und herzlich begrüßt. Das Haus ist ein Traum. Allein die Lage mit Blick auf den Atlantik ist ein Genuss und an sich aus jedem Winkel des Bungalows zu genießen. Der Bungalow ist sehr großzügig aufgeteilt, sehr hell mit riesigen Fenstern zur Atlantikseite, zudem sehr üppig ausgestattet (bereits in der Küche war alles vorhanden). Der Pool ist beheizt, was uns den Genuss ermöglichte, auch im März zu baden. Die Terrasse ist ebenso groß und mit super Möbeln ausgestattet. Das Haus war perfekt sauber. Auch besticht das Haus mit seiner Lage. Von hier haben wir zahlreiche Touren unternehmen und waren selbst nach Porto Moniz (ein Muss wegen der sagenhaften Naturbadebecken) nur gut eine Stunde unterwegs. Aber auch gleich in der Nähe (nur 5 Minuten entfernt) gibt es einen kleinen (aber feinen) Supermarkt (mit Cafe) und die charmante Pukiki Tiki Bar (tolle Cocktails, 100 Sorten Rum und mehr) sowie nur 2 Minuten weiter eine weitere Bar und einen großen Supermarkt. Es war also alles von Ort und sehr easy zu erreichen. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und Madeira auch dank Jorge und seinem Haus nur in allerbester Erinnerung. Wir danken Jorge für alles, insbesondere aber für die ungezwungene Gastfreundschaft und die Fröhlichkeit. Besten Dank und alles Gute. Michael
