The House is prepared to receive up to 5 guests, which makes it an ideal option for families visiting the island of Madeira. With a welcoming decor that invites guests to feel at home, it has a living and dining room, an equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with private bathrooms and a fabulous outdoor dining area where you can relax. In this sophisticated vacation home you will find amenities such as Smart TV, WiFi, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and much more...
Outside, swimming pool and relax on the sun loungers or  enjoy delicious grilled meat and fish on the barbecue.

Holiday home with a beautiful view and well accommodated

The holiday home was fantastic. Super clean and spacious with two bathrooms. Everything was available in terms of equipment to make a pleasant stay possible. There was even a dishwasher in the kitchen.The view from the terrace was beautiful, Contact with the landlord was very pleasant and you received an immediate response if you had a question.

Lovely place to stay!

We have been very happy to stay there, the owners greater us with fruits from their garden, the house was equipped with anything we needed (however one additional fan would be helpful during hot nights). There was one additional bathroom not mentioned in the description which looked like freshly finished! We loved that! Just to be aware: - keep all food in the fridge as ants are going to come for a search but this is normal everywhere in village houses. - lots of lizards we enjoyed watching - tv is not a smart tv so you can’t connect it to wi-fi to watch something from the internet. - if you rent a car please don't rent an automatic with small engine as it wont be able to get to the house through the very steep lane that google put as on. Instead, ask Jorge to meet with you under the church and follow him as there is an easier way to get to the house but Google Maps is not showing it as a first choice. In overall we fully recommend it!

Disappointing

Firstly the positives: the splendid view over the village and the sea from the terrace, a clean and (for two persons) quite spacious property all on one level, ample towels and linen, a good wifi connection, a welcoming posy of flowers and lots of the owners' own locally grown fruit presented every week. However the property could have won us over if only it were better equipped: too few kitchen utensils - e.g. only three (blunt) kitchen knives, no scissors or tin opener - and an oven and hob which even the owner couldn't remember how to work when we eventually had to go upstairs to seek assistance. (An instruction leaflet would have helped.) It will be noted that there is no photograph of the bathroom - perhaps because it is too small and poky, with the only available standing room being restricted to a small mat no bigger than 90 x 45 cm and the toilet basin being positioned too close to both the wash basin and the door thus hindering easy use of either. The weather at the end of January/beginning of February was often grey, windy and chilly and the single small mobile radiator was insufficient to warm us on some evenings so we finally had to ask for a second, which just about sufficed. The house therefore often felt and smelled damp and it was difficult to dry towels and washing indoors. The television is advertised as including international stations but we couldn't find any up-to-date British programmes. We doubt whether, in the height of the mid-summer sun, there would be enough shade for four persons given just the one sunshade and no other shade but four sunlovers may be disappointed to find only two loungers and a small patch of grass. The photos of the outside of the property suggest the garden and driveway are much larger than they actually are; the garden needed weeding. Note that the lane to the house is extremely steep (1:3 in places and quite narrow); whilst a hire car is essential, a small model is advised and anyone walking directly from the house needs to be fit!

Good morning. Thanks for your review . Thanks for allerting us about some issues that need urgent care and repair. We are already taking care of some of these things and reports . The informationfrom the guests that stay in the house sometimes are the only way of knowing it . We have a nice house with a beatifull view and in a very private spot, we have had a lot of happy guests in the past and hopefully we will have in the future with your review report . Im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung

Jedoch hatten wir viele Armeisen und Fliegen im Haus. Die Waschmaschine lief aus. Toaster funktionierte nur eingeschränkt. Es ist aber alles vorhanden gewesen. Nur alles etwas älter. Die Anfahrt ist sehr schmal auf dem Berg. Man muss die Enge und das Steile mögen.Daher empfinde ich die Miete pro Tag etwas zu hoch. Aber das ist meine Meinung.

Très bonne situation

Logement très bien placé sur l’île. Il permet de se rendre facilement sur tous les spots. En hauteur, il donne une vue magique sur l’océan. Jorge nous a très bien renseigné et sait rester disponible. La location est bien agencée et correctement fournie de ce qui est nécessaire. Seul bémol, surtout en ce mois de décembre : le logement est quelque peu humide…

Logement parfait pour 4 personnes

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Casa Bela Vista, la villa est très bien située et bénéficie d'une très belle vue sur l'océan, Jorge a été très disponible pour les échanges malgré notre arrivée très tardive et le retard de l'avion. La propriétaire Paula est vraiment très gentille et accueillante, elle parle bien Français. Si nous revenons à Madère, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Bonne situation au calme pour visiter le sud de l'île

Grande maison avec une belle terrasse bien équipée. Tres belle vue sur la ville et la mer. Il y a tout le nécessaire au niveau vaisselle, cuisine...La literie est confortable. L'accès est délicat au début. En fait il faut toujours descendre "El camino velho". Très bon contact avec le gérant immobilier.

Bonjour, Séjour de trois semaines. Bon accueil, rapport qualité prix correct. Propriétaire parle le français et est à disposition 24h/24 en cas de problème. Bien se faire expliquer au préalable le chemin jusqu'à la maison. Si problème, se garer à l'église et Paula viendra vous chercher, en ce qui me concerne j'ai demandé mon chemin au patron du bar. Oui, je recommande cette location simple mais bien! Merci Paula.

Location à l'ouest de Madère

Nous remercions Paula et José pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Paula est adorable ; elle parle correctement le français. En arrivant sur Arco da calheta, il ne faut pas hésiter à remonter la ruelle Caminho Velho jusqu'au numéro 105, où il faut entrer sur le petit parvis pour y garer la voiture. Cette ruelle vous donne une idée des routes que vous fréquenterez durant votre séjour. Utilisez une voiture avec un moteur digne car les routes sont ardues sur l’Île. Ceci fait, laissez-vous porter par la gentillesse des madériens, la douceur du climat, la beauté des paysages et profitez des promenades en montagne ou au bord de l'océan. La maison est jolie et bien agencée. La vue de la terrasse est splendide. Vous la partagerez avec des chatons et des petits lézards... Les chambres et la pièce à vivre sont spacieuses. Le linge de maison est fourni. La cuisine est très bien équipée (sans lave vaisselle). Les WC sont dans la petite salle de bain.

Wären gerne noch länger geblieben

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die Vermieter konnte man jeder Zeit ansprechen. Sie standen einem immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Haus hatte alle was man bräuchte. Wir werden diese Ruhe vermissen. Danke für die schöne Zeit bei ihnen.

Geräumige Wohnung mit schönem Ausblick

Für 2 Personen viel Platz. Gemütlicher Wohnbereich und gut ausgestattete Küche. Etwas kleines Bad. Kleinere Reparaturen wären notwendig (klemmende Tür, Perlator im Waschbecken fehlt, Schrauben in der Dusche nachziehen). Alles sehr sauber. Hübscher Garten mit Sonnenliegen, überdachtem Essplatz und weiterem Gartentisch mit 4 Stühlen. Herrlicher Meerblick, wenn auch etwas windanfällig. Vermieter sehr freundlich. Gut gefüllter Obstkorb stand bereit. Benutzung des zur Wohnung gehörenden Stellplatzes erfordert einiges Geschick. Für größere Fahrzeuge nicht nutzbar. Dann oberhalb beim Vermieter parken.
