Feel the warmth of the sand on your toes as the gentle breeze off of Banderas Bay flows over your body while you sip a Margarita with family and friends. Watch dolphins play near the shore as you walk the beach to the nearby quaint town of Bucerias. Have lunch or supper while in Bucerias at an unbelievably reasonable rate while sitting right on the beach or in one of many restaurants of varying cuisine. Visit and shop the open air market finding treasures made by local artisans. Boogie boarding, paddle boarding, parachute sailing, horseback riding along with other activities are available for those that are looking for a more active moment. At certain times of the year the baby turtles may be hatching right in front of La Estancia!
Your villa includes a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, extensive master bedroom with a huge closet/bathroom space/Jacuzzi, a washer and dryer, and a second bedroom with 2 queen beds and a bathroom. The villa sleeps 6 guests. The balcony terrace runs the length of the villa with spectacular views of the ocean and the pool.
La Estancia is your home away from home and the feel portrays that. After flying into Puerto Vallarta it is an easy taxi ride to La Estancia. There is a market nearby to pick up any groceries/beverages to have on hand at your villa. Or we can recommend where to rent a vehicle that will give you the flexibility to explore areas north and south of the resort.
The grounds are a tropical feast to the senses and include a huge pool with fountains and 4 hot tubs, a swim up bar along with a pool-side restaurant. There is a large elegant indoor restaurant and a small mart at the sister Flamingos facility next door. Work out in the gym and then visit the full service spa. Whatever you choose to do from the varied activities or just sitting and reading a book, paradise awaits you at Villa La Estancia!

Neuvo Vallarta - paradise

My husband and I stayed at VLE in early December. The VLE resort was exceptional. The staff at pool, restaurants and reception were very helpful, knowledgeable about the resort accommodations/surroundings, and extremely professional. Jon, property manager, was very helpful and quickly respponded to any questions. The villa is perfectly located facing west. The sunset views were incredible. We were able to take many many sunset photos.

Nuevo Vallarta April trip

We stayed at Jon and Carol's property for a week in early April and could not have had a better stay. We were a multi-generational family of 6 and their villa was absolutely wonderful for us. Jon was super helpful with the planning and had numerous suggestions for places to eat off the resort. The resort was great-we opted for all inclusive this time, but the kitchen in the villa was fully equipped and we would probably consider doing more cooking on our next visit. We will certainly try to stay here again if we are back in the Nuevo Vallarta area.

LOVED IT!

Wouldn't change a thing! From the start when we booked with Jon and Carol who were so helpful and accommodating and throughout our stay at this beautiful and peaceful resort. The resort is very tranquil and the surroundings are stunning. Traveling with 4 teenagers we thought for sure they would end up hanging out at the sister resort next door but they didn't want to leave La Estancia. We booked a Mexican Fiesta dinner next door where we enjoyed entertainment including Mariachis. The food was awesome and we had such a great time! We absolutely LOVED Villa La Estancia and hope to return some day!!

Beautiful resort and gracious hosts

Villa La Estancia was a fantastic choice for our family, which includes two young children (ages 4 & 3). The pool area is very nice and the white sand beach is perfect, and neither ever felt crowded even between Christmas & NYE. The small store at Flamingos (affiliated resort next door) was very convenient and room service was good & affordable, so we never needed to opt into VLE's all-inclusive option (~$120 per adult per day). We took an easy 10 minute taxi to Bucerias one night (highly recommend dinner at Mezzogiorno), and would've gone back more often if our kids were older and more mobile. Jon was incredibly warm and helpful in advance, as well as super responsive to any questions during our stay. He went out of his way to ensure we avoided any transportation hassle at the airport, which we sincerely appreciated. This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! P.S. Families with young children should know that the two bedrooms share a common front gate, but have two separate locked doors. One door opens to the kitchen/living room and master bedroom and the other opens to the second bedroom with two queen beds. This is not an "adjoining hotel room" layout, so recommend bringing a baby monitor if you need to hear the kids at night. Worked well for us with a monitor.

Fabulous condo

The property was fabulous, owners were great to deal with. The location was perfect. Be aware of the people drawing you into a time share, it was continuous and annoying.

Great property

Great condo in a very nice resort and location in PVR. Property was clean and well-maintained. We love the huge balcony with lounge chairs and a dining table/chairs to eat breakfast while looking out at the ocean. Owners were very easy to work with. You supply your own amenities (shampoo, laundry detergent, etc) at this particular rental, but they charge less than the rentals that supply those amenities. Grocery store is a quick 5 minute cab ride away, and there is a small grocery/convenience store on the property as well. We highly recommend Villa la Estancia. Easy to get a lounge chair by the beach or pool; good food and drinks at the pool restaurant/bar; short 5-10 minute cab ride to some really great restaurants in Bucerias (we recommend Karen's and Mark's). Will definitely return!!

Beautiful view

This place was perfect for our vacation. The view from the deck was amazing. We went with 14 family members and our location had the best view. The layout of the villa is perfect. We could have easily had six people because there was a Murphy bed in the living area. If we decide to go back to this area we would definitely want to stay there again. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to deal with.

I will have to start out by saying the host of this unit are the best. They were very accommodating and personable. Now the unit....WOW! You can not go wrong with this place. To sit on the balcony and see the view of the ocean...spectacular. The rooms are very clean and decorated nicely. It's great to have a washer/dryer to use. The only thing that would have made this place even better is if there were the basic spices such as salt/pepper and if we knew about the cleaning services. To be in the room 7 days with 4 people it could've used a cleaning mid week. Or, if there was a broom in the room we could've done it our self.

Outstanding and stunning villa and location and owners that are the top!

From the very beginning Carol and Jon were outstanding with all of their assistance and their villa is beyond beautiful, comfortable, breathtaking view and we so enjoyed our time (9 days). With renting the entire villa - it gives lots of privacy. We had someone in Villa B, someone sleeping in the Murphy bed in the living room and my husband and I were in the master bedroom. With this set up everyone had their own private bathroom including their own shower (the master bath also has a jacuzzi but we did not use it because we used one of the 4 that were poolside or at the beach with a spectacular view). The main part of the villa includes the living room, a large dining table (round), a laundry room and a full kitchen. One of the outstanding things in this villa is the covered balcony. It is large and has loungers, and 2 tables (small and large) will chairs BUT the view that you see here (posted by Jon and Carol) is the actual view that you see from the balcony. They VERY accurately described their villa and did not mislead in any way at all. Rest assured that you are getting everything the way they described it. It is a very safe location with lots of options. If you choose you can stay all the time at the resort if that is what you want or you can leave and have lots of options for eating, shopping and entertainment. The choice is yours!! Transportation from the villa and back to the villa is very easy with the taxi service. We ate at some outstanding restaurants at the resort and outside the resort. The beach is clean and maintained with plenty of places to choose to sit and take in the moment. We even saw baby turtles hatching and going toward the beach. At this resort you can `also go to the resort next door - your choice!! The way it appeared to us (atleast when we were there), this resort is quiet and relaxing and the one next door is more lively. Like I said you have the choice and the choice is yours all day and night. One more thing, the security at this resort is top notch. We were here because of my sons wedding and after a party one of his guests was coming over to visit. Security followed him and questioned him for over 15 minutes and then they knocked on our door to verify that he was with us. We felt very safe. I could go on and on.....try it, check it out.......you will not be disappointed. Thank you Carol and Jon - we will be coming back to stay at your villa!! EXCELLENT owners, villa and resort!

Clean, lots of space, good view, and a great location.

Our family of four stayed in Jon and Carol's place in February 2018. The condo had more than plenty of room for us. The room was very clean and quiet, with a good view from the patio looking out to the ocean over the pool - it was a great place to hang out. Jon was very helpful with getting us to the condo, letting us know what to expect once there, and restaurant recommendations. Being on the 6th floor, and far from the free lobby wifi, the in-room wifi they had was also helpful. This location is good for easy (and inexpensive) cab rides to Sayulita or south to Paradise Village for activity pick ups, and for short walks to Mega for groceries (we used the pedestrian overpass across the highway). We enjoyed most the easy walk to Bucerias along both the beach and inland path. Villa La Estancia staff throughout the resort, including at the front desk, pool, room service, restaurants, and on site doctor, were very welcoming and helpful. We can only say good things about our week at the resort.

Beautiful Property, Great Location!

Our vacation at Villa La Estancia was wonderful! Jon and Carol (the owners) were great from the start. Very communicative and quick to respond. The condo was perfect...our 20-something daughters got their own room and my wife and I were more than comfortable in the master. TV's (if you are spending a little down time in the condo) are in both bedrooms and the living room. Internet connectivity was reliable. The condo is on the 6th floor overlooking the pool with a fantastic view of Bandaras Bay. We had one small maintenance problem that was quickly taken care of. We went to the nicely equipped gym almost every morning (had to work off the mojitos and cervezas!) Several days we went next door to Flamingos to check out paddle boards and kayaks. (Be sure to get there early...once the water gets choppy you can't take them out.) The first day we were out, about 10 dolphins came over and were swimming right with us! It was amazing! The pool bar is the quickest way to get a cocktail around the pool. Service tended to be on the slow side, but hey...you are in Mexico...why rush? Food is definitely better on the Estancia side than the Flamingos side, but there is more variety at Flamingos. Be sure to check out what activities are happening at Flamingos...they usually have something going on at night. I must say that the key cards proved to be rather frustrating...often they took 6 tries before the door unlocked. But that seems to be true around the resort and the front desk folks are happy to create new cards for you. We loved the location. It was an easy 20-25 minute walk into Bucerias, a small town just north of the resort. LOTS of street vendors. Great food too! We ate at "Karen's Place" (right on the beach), "Sandrina's" (Mediterranean), and Mariscos El Payo (Mexican, right on the square). All were fantastic! Especially "El Payo"...great authentic Mexican food...if you go, be sure to ask for Manuel...he will take great care of you! We also took a 30 minute cab ride up to a small (but VERY busy) surf town called Sayulita. Definitely worth a day trip up there. (A cab ride was $300 pesos...about $15 US). We chose not to participate in the "All Inclusive" option...cocktails around the pool are very reasonable ($4-6 US) and we enjoyed venturing away from the resort to try the local food. We would definitely go back again...the resort is great...the staff is amazing...and the hosts are wonderful!

Fantastic, comfortable stay at Villa La Estancia

We've just returned from a fantastic week at Villa La Estancia! After a long few months at work we were looking to just relax and enjoy the sun and we got exactly that. The condo: - Large, comfortable and clean - master bedroom with large bathroom, comfortable bed, sitting area attached to a common area with full kitchen, dining room and living room. A separate bedroom with 2 queen beds is also part of the layout. It has a large deck that runs the length of the condo with awesome views and a fantastic breeze all day long. Our family of 5 was super comfortable and with enough room for everyone. The resort Fantastic service, especially from the hardworking guys serving the pool. The pool is large and clean and never felt too crowded even though it was Spring Break. The resort next door (which is part of the family of resorts) has SUPs, kayaks and boogie boards for guests to use for free. There are floaties and other pool toys for smaller children as well. The beach is nice, clean and there are plenty of chairs if you want to lay out by the ocean. The ocean was calm and great for kids of all ages in the am but got a little rougher in the afternoon when the wind picks up. We boogie boarded in the afternoons and kayaked in the am depending on ocean conditions. There is also a full gym (enough of everything if you want to keep up your regular work out schedule), tennis courts (old rackets but didn't have to bring any) and spa. Location The resort is at the north end of Nueva Vallarta. It is not exactly walking distance to anything although you can walk to the little surfer town of Bucerias in about 15 mins. We loved it because we could explore downtown, Nuevo Vallarta, and Bucerias. Everything was a cab ride away but taxis are plentiful and cheap. Rates vary so ask how much prior to boarding the cab. Your hosts Carol and Jon were amazing! They answered all emails right away, provided as much information as possible and installed a new WiFi router to ensure we'd have proper connection during our stay. They were wonderful to deal with, went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay and we cannot recommend them or their condo enough. This is a great spot if you want to explore the area, be comfortable in a spacious condo and have options for dinner and activities. Thanks Jon and Carol for a great stay!
