Luxurious modern lodge on the edge of the New Forest in a Country Park setting – dogs welcome.

Luxury 3 bedroom holiday lodge accommodating 6 people (78 square metres internally) set in a lovely setting but walking distance to all facilities. It is ideal for a wonderful family holiday. It can be a base to explore the New Forest and the local beaches.
The lodge is situated in the picturesque 5 star Shorefield Country Park on the outskirts of Milford on Sea and is just 10 minutes walk from the beach. The local beach has unrivalled views of the Isle of Wight and the Needles. Bournemouth is also just 25 minutes away. The New Forest walks, cycle rides and countryside begins just 5 minutes drive from the Park.
Inside the lodge there is a lounge area, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen which includes hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A utility area has a washing machine and we provide an airer.
The three bedrooms include a master bedroom with en-suite facilities. The remaining two bedrooms have twin beds and there is a separate family bathroom with bath and shower. There is full central heating.
The patio area, which goes around two sides of the building, has 6 chairs and 2 tables for your alfresco dining. More comfortable reclining chairs are provided for your relaxing. You can receive the benefit of all day sun.
As part of the rental we are providing you with guest tickets which will give you free access to:
• Indoor heated swimming pool - perfect for youngsters or those with mobility issues There is a lovely Jacuzzi and also a sauna and steam room available to those 16+.
• Lovely heated outdoor pool - open between end of May and the beginning of September.
• A well appointed gym.
• Children’s entertainment – An enormous variety, catering for babies and children up to 11 years of age early evening followed by family entertainment seven days a week.
• A family restaurant area including a large bar with a separate area for dogs.

A well stocked shop enables you to get all the essentials - Although there is a Tesco Extra Store 3 miles from the park.
The lodge has a small library of books and DVD’S – The 40 inch TV has Freeview. It also plays DVD’s. Board games are also available
Dogs are welcome - Park rules say a maximum of two dogs.
This lodge is perfect for relaxing and can provide a complete holiday but you may like to walk to the beach and there are some lovely cliff or promenade walks.
Apart from walking and cycling the New Forest is full of things to do and places to visit – from ‘Paultons Park’ and ‘Peppa Pig world’ theme park to the motor museum at Beaulieu, to horse riding, paddle boarding and animal sanctuaries. And don’t miss the famous ponies! – There is a whole range of activities available and we have a folder, kept at the lodge, of dozens of things that might interest you.
In addition there is no shortage of pubs and restaurants in a 5 mile radius – many situated in the countryside.
Nearest villages/towns
New Milton (3 miles). Lovely shops - train station
Milford on Sea (1.5miles). Quaint village with pubs
Lymington (5 miles) with superb shops, a marina and a fantastic lido the kids will love. It has a ferry to the Isle of Wight, a train station and a fantastic mini golf course!
Barton on sea (2 miles). Sea views and cafes . You can walk there by walking along the cliff tops. The Barton on Sea Golf Club is just 1 mile from the Lodge accessible by car.
Christchurch/Bournemouth – 13 miles. Large seaside resorts with miles of sandy beaches.

Buses:
There is a bus on the beach road (Number X1) that goes from Lymington, through Milford on Sea, New Milton and on to Bournemouth. It runs hourly and the stop is 10 minutes from the Lodge.
During the summer months open deck buses offer tours around the New Forest. One can be picked up at the park itself.
