The space
The Mirage is an open space apartment with incredible view of Lake Lugano. It consists of a large living room with sleeping area, a fitness area, a dining area and a lounge area, as well a large bathroom with shower.

An adjacent room serves as a secondary bedroom and is equipped with its own bathroom with shower. The kitchen is located at the entrance of the apartment. Outside the windows of the hall you can admire an incomparable view of Ponte Tresa and the lake Lugano.

The terrace offers a dining table, chairs and sunbed.

A lake-view restaurant is within walking distance. Here you will find a kitchen that offers choice menu and a tasty pizza.

The village is accessible by public transport, but a car is highly recommended. Shops in Italy are open every day till 8 pm, so no worries about grocery shopping!

Interaction with guests
Isabella and I live within walking distance from the house and we are always present on arrival and departure of our guests. In addition, we are available throughout your stay to advise our guests on what to do, places to visit and restaurants and clubs in the area.

The neighborhood
The village of Viconago is very quiet, ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. The summer evenings are animated by children playing in the pedestrian streets and the bar that is located in the main square. Often there is live music and the inhabitants organize feasts and concerts

Getting around
The village of Viconago is only a short drive from Lake Lugano, and from the town of Ponte Tresa, where tourists can find shops and restaurants. Every saturday in Ponte Tresa there is a street market.
The loft's strategic position allows guests to reach the center of Viconago in a few minutes, where they will find a small grocery shop and a Pizzeria. The town of Luino and Lake Maggiore are just 20 minutes away. The city of Varese, that offers a wide choice of shops and entertainment such as cinemas, theaters, shows and concerts, is reachable in only 25 minutes drive. Milan is 1 hour away. Moreover the village of Viconago is located very close to the border, and allows guests to reach Switzerland in a few minutes drive. The closest city is Lugano.
Even Lake Como is only 50 minutes away, a perfect destination for a day trip in Bellagio.

Other things to note:
The Loft Mirage has a great wifi access, making it ideal for those who, even during vacation time, need to have access to their computer.
We are committed to offer you a clean and tidy accommodation. We ask you to respect it and to keep it clean during your stay, so that we can make it perfect again after your departure, to accommodate the next guests :-). Smoking is not allowed in the house. During your stay you are not allowed to invite other people in the house. Thank you!
