Relax in an outdoor jacuzzi with a view you can not get just anywhere. Why come to Roseburg, Oregon? Many reasons: easy access - just off Interstate 5, many wonderful wineries where you won't have the crowds of California tasting rooms ( hike to many waterfalls along the scenic hwy 138 on the way to Crater Lake National Park, try your shot at fly fishing - the Umpqua River is renowned for it's flyfishing, wonderful parks for the children to expend some energy- Stewart Park in town which is home to Music on the Half Shell a free concert summer series on Tuesday evenings on the river's edge or RiverForks Park where the north and south Umpqua Rivers meet and many summer river floaters end up. Stroll downtown to find a nice restaurant or pub. Day trips could include the Oregon Coast - Bandon by the Sea is my favorite. Or go south to experience a Rogue River Jet Boat ride. There is plenty to keep you busy or just sit and enjoy being home away from home.
