Family Friendly Lakefront Cottage with Breathtaking Sunsets

This recently renovated lakefront cottage, located on Long Lake, includes: three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room with breathtaking views of the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee, or unwind in the evening on the three-season porch while experiencing the serenity of the lake front lifestyle. A three-season porch features an outdoor dining table and wicker couch and chairs. The property is equipped with cable television, internet, gas grill, central air conditioning, gas furnace, washer and dryer. Perfect for six to ten guests.

The lakefront features a private, sandy beach, dock, storage shed and deck. The water starts shallow and has a gentle grade which is a well suited swimming and lounging environment for the family. The dock is ideal for fishing or parking a boat. (Boat rentals can be arranged through Corey Lake Marina.) The storage shed is well stocked with water toys and chairs. The deck is ideal for a lakeside meal or just relaxing and enjoying a beautiful sunset.

In addition to enjoying the lake life, guests can enjoy nearby amenities such as Corey Lake Farms (for berry picking and other produce purchases), nice restaurants (pizza, American, seafood), horseback riding, and downtown Three Rivers for everyday grocery purchases, petting zoos, etc. Several wineries and Lake Michigan beaches are less than an hour away and charming Saugatuck is only 1 1/2 hours away! Perfect places for a day trip.

FALL/WINTER SEASON: Enjoy fall foliage tours, nearby skiing/boarding areas, snow tubing, sledding, and cross country ski trails.

Wonderful home!

My sister and I stayed here for a week and we loved it! The house is spacious and has everything you would need. The back screened in porch was perfect for just sitting and reading a book and enjoying the amazing view. Will definitely stay here again. Reached out to Ed and he responded quickly. Highly recommend.

Great Lakefront Getaway

This is our third straight year renting this property from Ed. Needless to say, it is perfect for the 6 of us - 4 adults and our two granddaughters ages three and five. The girls loved the lake and the beach area. The home has everything you could need and we loved the sunroom overlooking the lake. We had great communication with the property owner as well. Thank you Ed.

Great place!

My family had a great time. The house is well-equipped and clean. Ed is a great host and very accommodating. We had no issues the entire time we were there and really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the place!

Annual family vacay

We had a great time at the sunset cottage. It was just as pictured. The house was well maintained and had everything we needed. It was an ideal setup for my grandkids since it had a private sandy area as well as the water. We had to contact the owner when the electric in the area went out for information to give the electric company. He returned our call in less than 5 minutes and called them for us. Service back on in a few hours. Property had candles and flashlights available. i would definitely recommend this property.

We LOVED this cute, comfortable home!!

We rented this property for my daughter‘s wedding weekend. It was perfect! We felt very comfortable and the house was very “homey” Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. From dishes to utensils to linens and towels! Our favorite part of the house was the enclosed porch that overlooks the lake! Beautiful sunrises every morning! I would highly recommend anyone renting this property!

Great Cottage Getaway!!

We spent a long weekend at Ed’s cottage! The sunsets were awesome from the fire pit over looking the lake. The fishing was great all weekend. We relaxed down by the water and used the kayaks. The cottage was very clean when we arrived. The cottage was perfect and the beds were all very comfortable. Everything we need was provided. We will definitely be booking another long weekend next year!!!

Beautiful Lakefront Home

What a wonderful lakefront property! Home was fully updated and the women loved the kitchen. Beds were so comfortable and the screened in porch was awesome. Such a beautiful view of Long Lake from the back of this house. My three year old granddaughter loved the private beach area and looking for small seashells in the lake. We enjoyed this property so much that we have already booked it again in 2023.

Exactly as Advertised!

I selected this property to take the grandkids (and my daughters) to the lake for a long weekend of swimming. The cottage was lakefront with a sandy beach and the perfect swim area for younger children. Beach and float toys we’re available to use. The cottage was updated and well stocked with everything. Very comfortable beds, nice linens and more than enough towels for everyone. The kitchen was lovely and had all the utensils needed to cook, bake and serve the food we brought. The location was quiet and all the neighbors were friendly. The informational binder from the owner in the cottage was very helpful and answered all our questions. I definitely would stay again!

Fantastic property--awesome hosts!

This lakefront property was beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed for our family! Nana, Mom, Dad, a tween and teen had a fantastic vacation. We cooked family meals in the lovely kitchen; spent hours reading, chatting, playing games, and doing puzzles in the lakefront three-season room; fished, kayaked, and played on the beach daily; enjoyed nature walks around the lake (swans, ducks, turtles, muskrats, chipmunks, and baby squirrels galore); and snuggled up in the living room to watch family movies every night. It was quiet and peaceful while being close enough to town order groceries, hit Walmart when needed, and order pizza for the kids. Hosts were communicative and kind! Highly recommend!

Relaxing

Had a wonderful time with my girlfriend, my son and his girlfriend!! The house was fabulous and the grounds were equally wonderful…..Would recommended this place to anyone!! Only negative was it was still a little early in the season, so the water was cold…I took a dip anyway😊

Beautiful lake house

Thankful we were able to stay at this beautiful lake house. It was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. The back porch was perfect for a game night and we loved having our own private beach. Bedrooms and living room was very cozy! Would highly recommend!!

My college bestie and I have now stayed at this house twice, once in March and then in September. Love it. Great location and property. The home is perfectly decorated and stocked with great kitchen appliances. I've recommended this property to many friends. Big fans!

Wonderful peaceful respite

Everything at this property is as advertised! Beautiful quiet hideaway on a lovely lake. Wonderful sunsets, and a great firepit to enjoy the cool evenings of September. House is very well furnished, comfy, with many amenities. We had a great weekend visit after touring across northern Michigan. Dining recommendations in the property manual spot on as well. Fisher Lake Inn should not be missed. Great pizza at Appoloni's as well.

The perfect place for us

Beautiful emaculate, well appointed home, wonderful spacious common area for us to gather, (loved the comfy huge sectional couch in living room!) Also great large flat screens in all the rooms We had celebration of life video to share in our gathering and it was perfect to show on the large flat screen. Lake area so nice sandy, clean...sweet memories it worked out very well for our family!

Perfect getaway

We booked this last summer amidst covid uncertainty and loved that it had a little private beach area in case of need for seclusion. This property was perfect all around. The beach area was large and had toys for the kids, & kayaks / floats for the adults. Came with nice life jackets also. The house was decorated well, updated and fully stocked with anything we would need. Screened in porch was perfect especially to get the adults outside while the little ones napped. Close to Corey lake Marina - would definitely do a full week boat rental next time! We would love to stay again! 10/10 would recommend

This beautiful Lake Home was awesome! :)

We went there for our first Post-Covid Vacation. We sure picked the right place! Very relaxing and very clean. Beautiful Lake views from the screened in porch, the first landing down the stairs and the beach! The kitchen was well stocked, up-to-date and had plenty of cookware and supplies! And the fire pit...you just have to have S'mores! The owner, Ed, was quick to respond to any questions and is very nice! Thank you! My four Grandgirlies LOVED playing in the sand all day and the water was clean and shallow for the little ones. It was great to have kayaks there for adults and children :) Would love to go back! It always goes by so fast! The beds and the big couch were comfy too! Thank you, Ed, we loved it! ~Debbie K.

Three Rivers Lake House

This beautiful Lake House has everything you need for a relaxing vacation - it was clean, supplies were plentiful, stairs were steep down to the lake but the water was serene and worth the hike down. Canadian geese with their young families were very protective and bossy - close enough to get to town but definitely tucked in to the woods and quaint neighborhood. I would definitely go again and refer it to others.

Spring Fever Getaway

Loved it. Great spot. Kitchen, open-plan living room, and bedrooms were great, and the kitchen is much better stocked with cookware than most other rentals I’ve been in. Loved the décor and porch was perfect for reading and evening cocktails. The hallway bathroom could use updating—the shower doors don’t slide back and forth freely and need to be replaced. But that’s a minor complaint compared to how great the property is! Would rent this property again in a heartbeat : )
