Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check in and check out process was easy, the location of villa 316 is perfect. Clean rooms and kitchen. Ocean FRONT views from balcony, saw whales and amazing waves. Only small problem was the safe in the closet didn't turn on or work, and 1 of the microwaves in the kitchen didn't power on either, but there was a built in microwave that worked, so we were not put out. we would stay here again.

What an amazing vacation! We absolutely loved Turtle Bay and the surrounding area. The view was stunning from our balcony. Our villa was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The only negative was a small deep freezer was in the kitchen. That made it a bit crowded and was an eyesore. I am guessing the side by side freezer stopped working, so accommodations were made on the short term. (We were grateful for that!) Instructions and procedures were well communicated. We had an amazing family vacation. I would highly recommend this unit and Turtle Bay!

You get more space for the money, yet you are on your own with so many rules and regulations. Once you get used to all the quirks you can begin to enjoy this great spot. A little run down, Can use a few new updates and improvements. Yet, we had a blast and would most likely do a vacation rental again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great family vacation to celebrate our retirement. We were joined by both of our late 20's boys and one of their girlfriends. The unit was spacious and great for 5 adults. The unit's freezer was out so they supplied a spare freezer and were working to replace the original unit. The dryer worked fine but was showing signs of being glitchy the Oceanfront staff were professional and had great communication on both issues. The Turtle Bay/ North Shore Area is an amazing, laid back and peaceful place for quality R&R.

Luckily, I called Hagen and he came quickly within 15 minutes to pick it up.The property was in great location, clean. Lots of beach equipment was provided. The hotel lobby was beautiful and a great place to hang out.

Beautiful location, relaxing stay!

10/10 location! The unit was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed being able to walk to the hotel next door for coffee every morning. The lanai was perfect for relaxing and we even saw whales! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Always a great stay at the Turtle Bay villas!

We are not a stranger to the Turtle Bay Villas but it was our first time staying in the 3-BR villas. In fact, we’ve stayed at the one right under this villa. Very spacious and clean. Had just about everything we needed to cook in. Love the views of the balcony. We love being close to the beach and access to their swimming pool.

The Condo is Weathered

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our overall experience with the condo is that it is weathered and tired and in need of a refresh. The living room sofa and chairs have spots. The deck table, chairs and lounge need to be stained again. The cushions are ripped and stained as well. The kitchen sink faucet is broken and so is the ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, dishes, etc. The primary bath needs a good cleaning, the toilet paper holder is broken. The primary bed and linens were fine. The outside property building needs to be cleaned along with all the outside windows.

Very disappointed and embarrassed to have security escort my grandchildren and their mom out of the pool. I had no idea this wasn't allowed. I felt terrible. North Shore naturally beautiful

We had a wonderful stay in Ocean Villa 316 during our first trip to Hawaii. I really thought that the background images on the booking site of the view had to have been enhanced, but it is actually the real deal! I specifically chose the unit because of the proximity to the ocean. We loved the untouched beauty of the rocks and crashing waves and the short walk to our own little secluded spot on the beach. The condo had everything we needed to make our time away from home amazing.

Turtle two

It feels as if it is 30 years old and maintenance is an issue. That is not a problem for the holidaymakers of course and is caused in part by being on the edge of the ocean. Not just any ocean as the waves get huge and the property will get salt spray everywhere which is corrosive. The site is fantastic as are the staff, the golf course, and the beachside facilities.

Fabulous condo

We really enjoyed this condo. It was so comfortable and had so many small features that other properties lack, like lots of table and counter space for phones/drinks/sunglasses, great water pressure in the shower, towel and key hooks, and ample seating in the dining and living room, and a working printer. It's really the little things that make a huge difference in comfort. It was close to the beach and resort and still very quiet. Beautiful ocean views as well!

My only concern is that we were not informed there was a 3 day music festival very close by. This resulted in long delays getting in and out of the area. I would have not booked this place had I known in advance since we were driving back and forth from Mānoa.

Great family holiday rental

Spectacular View

Our condo, was very clean and comfortable. Enough space that six adults didn't feel cramped, it also had a fantastic view. Will definitely be staying there again. Resort has so many amenities.

I fell in love with Hawaii on a family trip when I was seven years old. I got married at Kualoa Ranch just a short drive from the Turtle Bay Resort and bought my 3-bedroom villa in the Ocean Villas a few years later. My parents loved it there so much that they bought a 4-bedroom for our whole family to enjoy together for family vacations! We started managing the Ocean Villas for other owners in 2005 and we now manage 18 of the very small community of villas. Almost my whole family is involved now. My sister Kimberly Perales is our reservations manager, marketing and advertising lead and accounts receivable. My sister Jennifer Liotta manages routine maintenance. We also have a few non-family members: Hagen, our on-island maintenance coordinator; Lea, reservations and social media marketing, and Joanna, our on-site cleaning supervisor. The villas are a special place for us all. My parents have traveled to lots of other resorts and islands but haven't found one that compares to the magical island feel of Turtle Bay. My sister Kim and her husband have two daughters who both love the heated villa pool and the sandy beach in front of the villas. I have a 16-year-old son who has grown up surfing, paddle boarding, and playing in the waters of Turtle Bay, and I have a 7-year-old daughter who just loves the pool and sandy beach too! We take family trips out there every couple of months. Our whole family travels there together at least once a year and we have countless special memories from each trip. Our villas are home to us, and I hope they feel like home to your family and friends too!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I picked the Ocean Villas at the Turtle Bay Resort because they have the best of everything that Hawaii has to offer. The location is remote, tropical and beautiful. There are tons of fun things to do there, I leave every trip wishing I had more time. There are great restaurants and shopping on site and close-by. It has a surfing and body boarding beach on the other side of the hotel, and a calm sandy swimming and snorkeling beach right in front of the villas that is great for babies all the way to seniors. We frequently get sea lions that rest of the shore and just a short hike past the horse stables you come to a bay where I almost always see sea turtles! There are two golf courses on site, horseback riding for adults, kids and even my baby went on a fun pony ride along the beach! There is 15 miles of hiking and biking trails, 5 miles of beach, Segway rentals kayak, paddle board and surfboard rentals and lessons, multiple tennis courts, a fitness center, we are close to Haleiwa with jet skiing, fishing tours, whale, turtle and dolphin tours, close to Kualoa Ranch, location for about 50 different movies, a historical WWII site with bunkers you can walk through, and an ancient historical burial site for the kings. You can go on challenging or easy mountain bike rides, ATV rides, horseback rides and jeep tours there. There is a cute macadamia nut farm close by and Dole pineapple plantation not too far away with the largest maze that you can walk/run through! Waterfall hikes and more! Outside of the location and amenities, I loved the villas themselves. They are five-star accommodations, meticulously designed with attention to detail.

Our villas are a second home to us, and we added all the comforts of home to them. We have a large storage room on site with extras of just about everything in the villa, from silverware, dishes, and coffee makers to a spare washer and dryer, so that if anything happens during your stay, we can get it fixed or replaced right away for you. Everything we use is high quality from the soft sheets to the silverware. Your comfort is important to us! You can have cleanings, towel service, or pre-stock of the villa before arrival for a fee. Our villas are located on the Turtle Bay Resort, so you have the added benefit of being in walking distance to restaurants, a couple shops, and tons of activities, but you don’t have to pay a resort fee!
