LOCATION
This wonderful villa is set on the hills of Polignano a Mare and offers both from the outside and from inside an amazing view on the beautiful Adriatic SEA. The villa was not born as a holiday home, and therefore preserves all the authenticity of a real Apulian COUNTRY house, among olive trees, fruit trees. The care for the typical details of a private house and the use of native materials, enhance the natural beauty of the place. On this hill of Polignano, the summer heat is mitigated by a pleasant breeze, making pleasant the stay even in the most torrid periods.

FACILITIES
The house has every comfort: saltwater swimming POOL (chlorine-free and with all the advantages of salt water), mosquito nets, AIR CONDITIONING, WIFI, covered parking.

ROOMS & SPACE
The main building has 2 BEDROOMS (the master bedroom and a double room) and a large living room. Each room is light and airy. A bathroom with a shower and wonderful kitchen complete the internal area.

The villa has a DEPENDANCE that allows to host up to 4 people. Consisting of a kitchen, a bathroom and 2 BEDROOMS (a master bedroom and a double room with a bunk bed) this dependance is totally independent.

Outside, there are two VERANDAS with large tables and a BARBECUE area, perfect for outdoor lunches and dinners with family and friends. The outdoor POOL (open from May 1st to September 30th) with a sunbathing area featuring loungers and an outdoor shower invites you to cool off on warm summer days.

The villa’s strategic location, just 3.5 km from the town, offers easy access to both the sea and the center of Polignano a Mare. You can explore the town’s breathtaking cliffs and marvelous sea caves, while also discovering the beauty of the Apulian region.

My family’s stay here was unforgettable! The hosts met us at the property to let us in and explain everything. They were so friendly and inviting. The property was perfect for our family of seven, including children and grandparents. We explored the beautiful property of olive, fig, and lemon trees and enjoyed the incredible views of the sea and surrounding area. We were in the pool multiple times every day! The location was perfect- close to Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Bari, and many other places in Puglia. The house itself was clean and had a little of everything we’d need. The views were stunning from inside as well. The outdoor living space was as large as the indoor space and we spent most of our time outside. I can’t recommend the house highly enough. It was truly like living in a dream.

Beautiful, Peaceful and Close to Polignano a Mare

Lovely house surrounded by cherry, olive, apricot and fig trees. Wonderful outdoor kitchen space for cooking an eating and relaxing. We swam in the salt water pool everyday and enjoyed our stay to the utmost.

Beautiful Polignano country home!

Our experience at this property was amazing from beginning to end. We stayed with our 2 children, who loved and enjoyed the most beautiful pool and scenery. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space where we had dinner and also could view the amazing sea from the backyard. Gisella and Emmanuel’s were the best hosts. We would definitely stay here again! Very clean and had everything we needed. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful large villa 10 minutes from Polignano Al Mare

We loved our stay at Gisellas beautiful home! The property is huge with plenty of room. We also made the most of the outdoor dining and pool area, as well as Emanuela cooking for us on our last evening which was a fantastic experience. A few things to note - you cannot walk from the house into town, you must drive. A few more wine glasses would also be good for the number of guests that are staying :)

Apulgia

the property is exquisite with meticulous grounds and a gorgeous salt water pool. The house is very comfortable with large bathrooms and nice beds and bedding. The outdoor living space is lovely and large with a wood fire stove outside. Bring bug spray and the bees are a nuisance but you’re in the beautiful country in the middle of an olive orchard. the kitchen could be better equipped for cooking dinners but overall the house is fantastic and very clean. It has ocean views and is conveniently located near the center of Polignano. The beaches are crammed and rocky but gorgeous. Il Terrazza is a great restaurant. you need a car here. We drove easily to Ostuni which was gorgeous and Monopoli which is also gorgeous in the old city. The house holds 4 upstairs and 4 downstairs in a separate unit; it has 2 queens upstairs and a queen and a set of bunks downstairs. I highly recommend this home!

Private Tranquil Oasis

My family loved this property! The kids didn't leave the pool for days and they loved roaming around the grounds exploring the plants and fruit trees. Since it was entirely gated and secluded they could wander freely (with sunscreen!) The living space was efficient, comfortable, and super clean. The hosts were charming, informative, and very helpful. The location is remote and we didn't have a car, but the taxi and riscio service was dependable and economical for what we were doing. We stayed 4 days and wanted to just chill. Going into town in the evening was pretty much all we wanted to do so scheduling a riscio worked well for us and provided a lot of fun for us all. I also totally appreciated all the recycling containers were clearly marked and convenient. It helped us maintain standards of the area easily. As a family this was a highlight of our 23 day stay in Italy and we all want to come back. Just a note if you can stop at a grocery store before arriving at the villa, this was the only thing I would have done differently. Also having and being familiar with WhatsApp and Google maps is super helpful. This place will be one we will remember as a perfect paradise for us. Grazie mille Grisella and Emanuella!

First time, last time, we will stay at this property.

Positves: The outside grounds, pool area is very beautiful and relaxing, the highlight of the property. The check-in process was prompt and efficient. The home itself is quite nice, with a very pretty view of the coastline from the living room. The bedrooms are comfortable, with lots of storage space. Nuteral: The kitchen is sparsely supplied, cheap quality cutlery and utensils. A few grams of salt and black pepper were the kitchen supplies. The living room is poorly furnished with a pull out couch and some plastic chairs covered with a layer of dust; not very suited to relaxing in Negative: The day after our arrival I was contacted by the hosts, requesting my personal tax number (social security number.) I thought this was an error by the hosts. When I queried the request I was told, “according to Italian law” it was mandatory for me to supply my tax id number, so they could issue me an invoice. I advised the host that under no circumstances would I provided my tax number. My Social Security number, combined with the hosts having my passport information home address, would expose me all kinds of identity fraud. The next day the hosts relented in requesting this information. Stating, non EU resident were exempt from this “law.” Note: I was never issued any invoice by the hosts. Hosts should NEVER made demands of this nature. So please be aware of this dubious tactic. Due space limitations, I can’t advise of the comical 2 roll limit on providing toilet paper to guests.

Dear Declan, Thank you for your review. We really appreciate it. It is always nice to receive feedback that we can use to improve the quality of our services. We do think the kitchen is adequately supplied. It has everything that is required: oven, cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, mocha stove, pots, cutlery, glasses, mugs. We supply the minimum required for a prompt use of the kitchen, such as: olive oil, sugar, salt, pepper and other spices. Everything is in line with the information and the photos of the advertisement. We have found a pair of broken glasses and the main door lock broken. We have replaced and repaired them at our costs without any impact for you (you missed that in your review). I will not comment on the toilet paper issue. We promptly supplied you with what required. Just remember that you have rented an holiday home, neither a hotel nor a resort. We are not entitled to supply you with food or consumables for the entire duration of your stay and this is exactly in line with what is advertised. Referring to the documents and tax ID, the italian law requires enterprise to emit an invoice, exactly the same that happens if you stay at a hotel. Not sure what you are used to and what type of experience you have had previously in Italy. We do everything according to the law's requirements. Tax I'd is not mandatory for not -EU resident, we promptly informed you and apologised after consultation with our accountant

Erholung pur

3 Wochen pure Erholung! Begrüßung und Kommunikation durch Emanuela, Gisella und Massimo waren herzlichst. Zwischendurch wurden wir mit diversen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt. Das Grundstück ist riesig, nicht einsehbar, mit viel Platz und vielen Obstbäumen. In die Stadt, zum nächsten Supermarkt und zu Restaurants waren es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten. Die Lage bot viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Potential befindet sich noch in der Küchenausstattung und der Wegbeschreibung zum Haus. Wir würden das Haus jedem Urlauber weiterempfehlen.

Casa super rilassante

Casa molto curata dalla proprietaria Gisella che è stata con noi molto gentile e disponibile. Vista mare da tutte le stanze e grande tranquillità che nelle due settimane a cavallo di ferragosto non guasta! Parti esterne molto grandi e varie. Posizione strategica molto vicina a Polignano ma anche ad altri paesi molto belli come Monopoli e Conversano. Ciliegina la cagnolina Chicca che ci ha fatto compagnia con discrezione e dolcezza. Consigliato!

Traumhaftes Gelände, gute Ausstattung, wunderschöner Blick

Herzliche Begrüßung bei unserer späten Ankunft und tolle Tipps, schönes Haus und riesiges Gelände mit Obstbäumen, Olivenbäumen, Hühnern (und leckere Eier), fast immer angenehme Brise auch bei hohen Temperaturen, Aussendusche viel genutzt, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und unterschiedliche Strände, Polignano selbst sehr schön: ein perfekter Ort für einen entspannten Urlaub! Vielen Dank!!!

villa immersa completamente nel verde tra ulivi alberi di fico pere melograno ecc, veramente un terreno enorme; la villa molto pulita ha una zona giorno, salone e cucina, enorme ed una una zona notte inspiegabilmente piccola come la camera da letto in cui si riesce appena a girare attorno al letto ed un bagno altrettanto piccolo da non riuscire ad aprire completamente la porta. Internet funziona molto bene, ampi spazi esterni (patii), zanzariere a tutte le finestre, sistema antifurto collegato a vigilanza privata, tv minuscola ed un più un cane dolcissimo, chicca, che c ha fatto compagnia per tutto il soggiorno; siamo stati freschi e non abbiamo mai acceso i condizionatori pur presenti. La casa è isolata occorono 5/8 minuti per arrivare alla strada provinciale che porta a Polignano raggiungibile in 10 minuti

Une villa agréable et bien située

Les propriétaires étaient très aimables et ont été disponibles pour les quelques petites questions posées. La villa est bien placée pour visiter la région. L'endroit est calme (sauf le jour où la carrière proche a fonctionné) et nous avons passé d'agréables soirées sur l'une ou l'autre des terrasses. L'une surplombe la plaine puis la mer, l'autre est devant un grand verger, dont nous avons savouré les raisins. Les équipements sont satisfaisants.
