Sit on the front porch and watch the Ponderosa Pine trees sway in the wind.
Sit on the back deck and enjoy the birds and squirrels (they are prettier here) feeding.
Fully stocked kitchen with all you need to cook up a great meal, with seating and sleep options for no more than 6 guests. Propane grill for use along with all kitchen needs. Portable evap cooler in summer.
Wifi and Smart TV available along with DVD player with a host of movie options for a night in front of the fireplace or when the weather keeps you indoors.
Books and games are available as well for quiet time.
A public golf course is minutes away.
Forest trails within 3 miles of cabin.

We loved this cabin! Very well appointed. Lots of extras and kitchen nicely stocked with pans, glassware and utensils. Wonderful location close to town but quiet. Sitting on the covered back porch watching the bluejays was very praceful

The Pine Cone cabin was exactly as described and pictured. The beds were comfortable, the living area very cozy and inviting, and the fully stocked kitchen with all the small appliances we needed was perfect. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were extras we used and appreciated. Communication with Lori was quick and easy, as were the check-in and check-out procedures. The location, in the midst of the pines, was great. It was also close to town, where we ate at several good restaurants. We would love to stay again!

What a lovely cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was immaculate and had everything we needed. The ambience of the log walls with the art work was so soothing. Loved the forest views out the windows. I highly recommend!

Pine Cone Cabin

The cabin is in an excellent location in the beautiful tall pines. The pine cone theme was excellently portrayed throughout the cabin. We loved the handpainted birds and art decor, as well. It was very well furnished and stocked.

Perfect cabin getaway

This has to be the cutest cabin we have stayed in. It was so clean! Everything was perfect including the Christmas decorations. We loved this cabin and will definitely be staying here again.

Relaxing get away

We have stayed in this cabin before and have enjoyed the location, it is located nicely from the street and backs up to the forest. The owners are amenable to any communication needs which makes it very reassuring.

Weekend getaway to unwind

This is the perfect place to visit and get away from all the distractions of life. It was great to just sit outside and listen to the wind going through the pines. Great hiking trails as well. The place was wonderful and gave us a unique cabin experience..

Cabin is comfortable and cozy. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable get away this cabin is a perfect solution We enjoyed relaxing on the porches and listening to the wind in the trees and the songbirds. The cabin was outfitted nicely and met all our needs for a relaxing stay

Cabin was cozy and updated in the kitchen and baths It was a great location for us.

We enjoyed our visit at the Pine Cone Cabin, it was a quiet and cozy and had decks both in the front and back. We liked watching the many birds and squirrels. The location was handy to restaurants, shopping and walking. We look forward to our next visit there in August.

This cabin was perfect for our weeklong stay! We didn't want for anything. The cabin was equipped with everything one would need. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in. We truly enjoyed our stay in the pines!

Amazing Cabin

This is the second time I have stayed at Lori and Eric's place.....words can't describe the secluded get-away. You are transported to the pines in every way. Comfortable beds, everything you need for fun and relaxation.

Eric and I met while on a trip and so the idea of going somewhere else to renew relationships and create memories is a big part of who we have been for over 30 years. We hope this place has that potential for our guests. Eric travels frequently for business and as a mattress manufacturer really misses his bed at home, so making sure this place had comfortable beds was a must. I grew up in the Midwest and have always hoped that my guests feel at home when they visit. We hope you find we made this place what you imagined in a log cabin.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We have been learning about and loving the Pinetop-Lakeside, White Mountain area for 10 years and LOVE the flora and fauna of the mountains that come with the cooler temperatures. We realized what a gem this area really is and how much it has to offer. The idea of a real log cabin was incredibly appealing and this one is easy to get to, yet once you are inside you are away from it all. The back yard is forest and out front you can just sit on the porch and enjoy the wind in the pines and the songs of the birds.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The log cabin was in disrepair when we bought it, but we had it worked on and then Lori lovingly worked on the cabinets, the bathroom mirrors and the decor so that guests have a true mountain experience. There are bird feeders placed around the property and seed and food in a bin so fill up the feeders and let the squirrels impress you with their beauty and the birds of many varieties sing you a song as you relax.
This is a place to unwind and enjoy!
