Escape to the serenity of the White Mountains in this charming cabin nestled in a quiet neighborhood situated just 29 miles from Sunrise Park ski resort, 9 miles from Rainbow Lake, 5 minutes from Golf Club, & multiple hiking trails, this cozy cabin is the perfect warm and cold-weather escape for you and your loved ones. Boasting vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, and a spacious loft w/bunk beds, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath abode is the ideal home base to return to at the end of each action-packed day. Both the back deck and front patio offer plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the clean mountain air and the picturesque White Mountains!

Come escape from the hectic city/work life... slow down and enjoy the fun-filled outings to Sunrise Park ski resort, Show Low Lake, the Mogollon Rim Trail, the PTLCC golf course or Hon-Dah Casino. Then, try the local eats at Darbi's Cafe before winding down with a round of drinks on the deck.
Clean mountain air and a friendly small-town atmosphere await. Outdoor enthusiasts will be amazed by the over 40 lakes and streams offering abundant fishing, including bass, trout, pike, walleye, catfish, and crappie. The White Mountains offer four distinct seasons with 70-degree summers, a winter wonderland, 180 miles of developed hiking trails, remote camping and wildlife, downhill and cross-country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, nine golf courses, year-round festivals, casino gambling, unique shops, and many restaurants and bars... with 'true mountain' charm and character!! This a lovely home that is a quaint cabin on the outside but a cozy and comfortable updated home on the inside. My husband and I really enjoyed being outside on the deck. We brought our young dog and felt very comfortable that she had a great yard to explore with no concerns that she might get out. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked.There are other homes all around us in the neighborhood but there are so many trees around you that you still get a sense of privacy. It was very quiet and all the homes are lovely. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Spot to Get Away

We really enjoyed the house. Sleeps six in beds so no one needs to use a couch. The appliances were modern, everything was well stocked with towels and kitchen amenities. The upstairs balcony door has an iron door with a screen for fresh air overnight. We really loved the location, we were up for a softball tournament and getting anywhere we needed to go was quick and effortless. Owner was courteous and prompt with messaging. You can tell the home is well taken care of, only wish we had more time to spend there.

Great "cabin."

It looks like a cabin but it's really a lovely home. We had a wonderful stay, except that the weather was really cold. Check the forecast before you book and realize it's high altitude.

We will be back!

Home and property was beautiful and well furnished. Owner was extremely prompt in getting back to us with any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back and are hoping for some snow our next trip. We had a great, relaxing week!

Fabulous getaway in the mountains

We had a wonderful time staying in Pinetop at this cabin. We enjoyed the quiet backyard, and the pups loved the large fenced-in area. The home was cozy and had everything we needed (it was one of the best-stocked homes we've ver stayed in). We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home in the perfect location!

We loved grilling out and making s'mores under 40 trees in the back yard. The home is perfect for a family gathering and the neighborhood is beautiful. It is very quiet and peaceful here! The recommended restaurants are great and golf is just down the road. There are even horse stables at the end of the street. This is a great place to stay and we look forward to coming back in the future!

Feels like a cozy cabin!

We had a wonderful time staying at this homey cabin. It was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans you may need. We played corn hole in the back yard area. We played games at both outdoor tables on the front and back decks. We barbecued on the gas grill and ate outdoors. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you for providing such a nice space to spend time with family.

Quiet and serene

Our stay was very nice and quiet. Just wish the Master Bedroom was on the 1st floor. Stairs were kind of narrow.

Great Get-Away

The home is lovely, well-maintained, and in a beautiful, walkable, quiet neighborhood. We hiked, fished, and used trail bikes while there and all the trailheads were within minutes of the home. The master bed was very comfortable. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. The check-in process was seamless and communication with hosts was excellent...very responsive. It was truly delightful. I highly recommend this rental!

Lovely cabin, great location, wonderful host

Just spent great weekend at this lovely cabin! Lots of room, great fenced yard, very clean and comfortable, and perfect location!. You can tell the owner has put lots of love into this mountain getaway and graciously shares it! Out of the many,many VRBOs I've rented, the host, Bob, is hands down the best. Very quick responses to my queries and service truly above and beyond the norm. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend

Amazing getaway

We loved our stay here! The cabin was perfect for our little family and had everything we could possibly need! We loved the grill and fire pit and we had plenty of room to hangout. Super close to multiple lakes and many bars/restaurants. Highly recommend for a little getaway (and to escape the Phoenix heat).

Perfect Getaway

We’ve stayed in a few VRBOs, but this place is, by far, the best of them all! It was very clean, which is most important to us. It has everything you need and very tastefully decorated. We felt comfortable, truly relaxed, and enjoyed the beauty of the area. We will definitely be back 😊.

A home in the woods

This is a lovely cabin style home in the middle of a neighborhood which has a mix of primary and second homes. There are large porches both in front and in back which is very nice depending on the time of the day and the weather outside. We particularly enjoy taking hikes in the morning which are from 1 to 4 miles or so and are generally rated in the easy category and so we were delighted to find numerous such hikes within 15 minutes of the home. Dining options in the area are numerous and did not disappoint (Los Corrales, The Pasta House and Darbie's were all very good/excellent) plus there are nearby grocery options for those who wish to use the fully stocked kitchen. We did lack for anything during our stay. Bob is certainly deserving of his Premier host status. Any communication with him received a prompt and friendly response. Could not ask for anything more.

Clean! Perfect family house

We have stayed at several vacation rental homes in Pinetop, and this was one of our favorites!! The house was very clean and had everything you would need. The owner was quick to answer when we had a question. Overall I would highly recommend this property! We plan to come back.

Originally from the East Coast, life’s twists and turns brought me to New Mexico in the mid-2000s, where I attended NMSU and met the love of my life. After graduating during the challenging recession of 2008, I relocated to the Midwest. Eventually, my wife and I found our way back to the Southwest, settling in Phoenix, which we now proudly call home.

Over the past few years, we've sought refuge from city life in Pinetop, falling in love with its serene beauty. This led us to take the leap and purchase a second home there—a peaceful retreat just a short distance from our primary residence. We cherish our time at the cabin and hope our guests find the same joy and tranquility when they visit.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this lovely cabin is just the right size for our family of 4, with additional room for grandparents when they visit! Coming from city life, we enjoy the fresh, clean air, peace and tranquility that our cabin offers. Just a short distance away, you can enjoy the lakes, hiking, casinos, restaurants and skiing. Ahh....just writing this makes me want to go back there now!

Plenty of windows and a sunroof allows for enough sunlight to come in, even on those cold days out in the mountain. With 2 outdoor spaces and a fenced-in yard, there are enough places to relax and enjoy a hot chocolate or your favorite drink. With a fully furnished kitchen, one can enjoy baking their favorite cookies.... yum!
