Atlantic Air is a wonderful Widemouth Bay holiday home, nestled in the heart of the community and situated just seconds from the sand on the North Cornish coast. This property sleeps 5 - 6 guests across three bedrooms (max five adults), is dog-friendly and offers private parking. Inside

Upon entering Atlantic Air, you're greeted with an entrance hallway which leads through to a cosy, modern kitchen and an open-plan living area with comforting interiors. The living space benefits from two sets of patio doors, welcoming in ample sunlight and sea air — throw them open during the summer and dine al fresco, cooking up a feast on the barbecue. During the winter months, curl up on an armchair and enjoy the warming comforts of the wood burner and underfloor heating after a refreshing beach walk.

Upstairs, you'll find two of the three bedrooms. The principal double room with ensuite enjoys views across the shared garden area, with plenty of natural light flowing in through the double French doors — imagine waking up here and throwing open the doors to inhale the restorative salty sea air. The modern ensuite also benefits from a large walk-in shower. Across the hall, you'll find a spacious twin ensuite with its own little lounge area. This ensuite is light, airy and benefits from a bathtub — the perfect space to enjoy a relaxing soak after a day spent adventuring. The third bedroom is located downstairs and consists of a bunk bed with small double on the bottom, making it a great choice as a room for younger children. A family bathroom with walk in shower can also be found next to this room.

Outside

This Widemouth Bay holiday home is perfectly set up for the indoor-outdoor beach lifestyle. The living room's patio doors allow for easy access to the little courtyard area where you can enjoy a family barbecue sheltered from the sea breeze, or a relaxing lunch outside. Upon returning from an afternoon surfing or a sunset swim, make use of the communal outdoor shower to rinse off any sand and stow away beach gear in the private storage shed.

Atlantic Air is a fabulous bolthole for a Cornish seaside holiday and is ideally suited for smaller families. The proximity to Widemouth Bay beach, with its Blue Flag status, is one of the best things about this home, and the local village shop is close by for essentials. Bustling Bude is an hour's walk along the beautiful Cornish cliff tops of the South West Coast Path, or just a short drive away where you can explore numerous eateries, shops and the magnificent Bude Sea Pool for hours of entertainment. Widemouth Bay's two beaches — Widemouth Bay and Black Rock — stretch for two miles, forming one long expanse of golden sand when the tide is out, allowing for hours of rock pooling and sandcastle building; there's also plenty of surf schools such as Freewave Surf Academy for those wanting to try their hand at some adventurous water sports. Black Rock beach, found at the southern end of Widemouth Bay beach, is dog friendly all year round so furry friends need not get left behind either!
