Booking conditions:
- House dedicated to family stays with children
- Stictement 5 adults maximum (2 rooms) and two children (sofa bed).
- We will not welcome groups of friends to organize parties or festive events because of respect for the neighborhood and the property.

Very nice fully furnished duplex, in a secure modern complex, ideally located only 20 m from the beach of Olhos d'Agua, in a typical old fishing village, in the district of Albufeira.
The private condominium is located in the pedestrian street which leads to the beach, so it’s ideal for children.
It combines the peace of a quiet place and the proximity of all the conveniences: restaurants, supermarket, bakery, pharmacy,... and is not far from golfs (unless 10 min by foot) or the nightlife of Albufeira (6 km).
The complex offers a swimming pool and a separated kids splash pool, a lift, an intercom, a closed covered parking lot (you will have 2 individual places).
The 3-rooms apartment is on the 2nd floor, very well equipped and furnished, fully air-conditioned, it offers very beautiful internal and outside areas :
- a twin bedroom in suite with a private terrace, including 1 double bed 140 and 1 single bed 90 with a private bathroom equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin, a bidet and toilet,
- a bedroom with a double bed 150, a cupboard,
- a shower-room separated with a shower cubicle, a washbasin and toilet,
- a perfectly equipped kitchen : combined fridge offering a freezer with 3 drawers, oven, sticks vitreous ceramic, microwaves, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board...
- a dining room corner with comfortable table for 8 persons,
- a lounge space with a sofa-bed offering a comfortable sleeping around 140 for 2 adults, Satellite Television,
- a spacious West exposed terrace with a sea and beach view, equipped with table, chairs and deckchairs,
- 1 large terrace with direct access side swimming pool, equipped with a barbecue and a private outside shower.

Can't beat the location! Walk out the door and down half a block and you're at the beach. Surrounded by restaurants. We loved it. The apartment was clean and communication with the host was great. We were very thankful for the AC. One small upgrade that would be nice is newer (softer) towels. Everything else was great.

Wonderful apartment - close to beach

Friendly check-in and close to all amenities and beach. Would highly recommend for adults and older children, but not young children to due stairs. Would definitely book again!

Well maintained property in ideal location

We stayed for the month of September and could not have asked for a better location to enjoy the beach as well as tour the Algarve. The apartment is modern, clean and well maintained and any questions/issues were promply delt with by the owner. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a beach location that is centrally located and enables you to tour other areas.

Great Stay! Great Location

We had such a wonderful stay. The location was amazing! Steps away from the beach and loads of restaurant options at your fingertips. Anne was so lovely & was such a pleasure to deal with. She made the whole process of checking in & out so easy and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She definitely made us feel at home. Thank you so much for a fabulous time. We would definitely recommend this location.

Perfect for our needs

We’re so glad to found this lovely, spacious apartment - bright, spotlessly clean and perfectly located - and particularly enjoyed the outside space. Really conveniently placed for a great selection of lovely restaurants and cafes with super friendly staff, and handy for supermarkets too - the only thing we can fault is that we didn’t stay long enough! And thank you so much, Anne, for giving us such a warm welcome - we really appreciate all your help, especially with the baby. Our first time in Olhos d’Agua, but definitely not our last!

we had an amazing stay, and it started with Ann meeting us as we stepped out of the taxi. She took the time to show us the condo, and how things works...which was a nice change from other arrivals. The condo is newer, and in great condition. Location is amazing, with beach close by. Many restaurant options all walking distance of the condo. We hope to return at some point in the future.

Fantastic apartment

Perfect apartment for our family holiday to Olhas D’Agua. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It is in a brilliant location with very close access to the beach and some great family friendly restaurants. We also really enjoyed the pool area, which we often had to ourselves at times. Bernadette and Vincent were great hosts - we were promptly met on arrival and departure and Bernadette was very good at responding quickly to any questions we had before we arrived. We would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely hope to return again in the future!

Amazing location

Got to say this was one of the best holiday's we have had, we have stayed in the area a couple of times but this was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in and the location was amazing being so close to the beach. Luckely rhe drainage is being sorted soon as due to high amounts of rain while we were there the drain in the back blocked and it was flooded for 2 days meaning we couldnt use it but other than that was a perfect stay. On a personal level could have done with the beds being slightly softer but that is just our preference.

This apartment is wonderful, our whole experience from start to finish was flawless. The apartment is large, modern, clean, quiet, just everything you could want. Well equipped kitchen, 2 great outdoor areas. Lovely pool. Great location with beach just metres away, shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Host was a dream, answering all my questions, arranging transfers, getting some shopping in and suggesting trips etc. we will definitely return.

Wonderful.

The location was wonderful. We were a bit confused at first as we put the location into our GPS and it took us to a condo to Guia. Thank goodness Bernadette corrected us to go to Ohlos de Aqua! The condo was great for 4 adults. We had a beautiful balcony and several nice restaurants nearby. We had to go out to buy toilet paper, paper towels and soap, but otherwise the condo was well equipped. Russell and Bernadette were loverly and friendly people.

Dear Lyle, We thank you a lot for your review. The exact location is available in the Homeaway website. It was the first time in 4 years that it happens to our guests, even for guests from north America. The name of the street, "25 Abril", is very common in Portugal, so because of that it is important to precise the name of the city "Olhos de Agua" in your GPS, or to use the GPS coordinates that I sent to you. Hopefully, you find it quickly! I am really sorry for the toilet paper, I will inform the cleaning lady about that missing. As we provide 2 towels by guest, we do not use to provide paper towels. But we are going to ask to our other guest what they think about that, and we will maybe change our policy and provide soap too. We are very concerned by the satisfaction of our guests, and we are always ready to improve our service. Bernadette & Vincent

Great holiday experience

Beautifully clean, spacious and well maintained apartment. Very tasteful pretty decor with two large double bedrooms and a great open plan kitchen/lounge area.I would highly recommend this apartment it is in a great central location with beach less than 50 metres away and surrounded by good restaurants and bars. Really nice swimming pool on site well worth a visit but can only be accessed by over 60 steps so by the end of the holiday your fitness levels are increased significantly. Excellent customer service from the manager/ owner of the property who graciously allowed us to leave our suitcases several hours before the check in time.

Fabulous central apartment near the beach

The perfect apartment in the perfect location for our family holiday. We are return visitors to Olhos D’Agua and will definitely try to repeat book the apartment. The location has lots of options for food and drinks, and the apartment is close enough to the beach that you can go back for lunch before heading back to the beach. In the evenings sitting out having a glass of wine or a beer on the large balcony looking over the bars and restaurants below is idyllic, and although there is a hustle and bustle below when you close the sliding patio doors the noise is unnoticeable. The apartment is well appointed, lovely decorated, clean and no fuss. Anne was fantastic with great communication with us from the moment we booked right through till we left. Thank you Anne! Nice located flat

We had a really warm, uncomplicated welcome. The flat is nice located at the peripherie of Albufeira. There are a few shops and restaurants directly downstairs. The flat has a nice roof terrace with a great view. A few little things should be fixed and I would recommend new pans, but at all we had a great stay. Our Kids loved the ice at the aqua downstairs! The live music in the bars around was sometimes really loud and they played long. The sleeping rooms are located backside, there it was not that loud, but still to hear. The beach is nice but small. In the times of flood there is just a small piece of sand remaining. So we often drove to praia da gale with the kids.

Great location and lovely host

Our family really loved our stay in Olhos de Agua. The location is perfect, especially for families with young children - just a minute walk to the nice small beach. The property was very clean, air con was working smoothly in all rooms, the kitchen was well equipped with all the dishes, glasses and cutlery you could need. There were no salt, pepper, sugar or coffee, but the wine was great! ;-) (Thanks, Anne!). The internet speed was good if you are close to the router. The modern furniture and decorations in the property make a very nice and cozy ambience. We also loved the amazing sea view from the terrace. Our host, Anne, is super friendly and helpful! She always responded very quickly and was ready to assist if we needed something. Thank you! We definitely recommend this property and would love to come back again.

Perfect for retirement!

The place is exactly as described. Photos are true. Loved the balcony with the partial view of the ocean. Very lively at night though but it all calms down at midnight, and once you put the window screens down you hardly hear from the bedrooms. No basics are included like salt, pepper, hand soap etc. so you have to buy everything. We found it quite unusual and hard as we were only staying for 5 nights so did not appreciate it. If you go by car get a small one as the parking is extremely small and hard to get into. We would definitely go back though as we loved it!

Great Unit and Location

We really enjoyed this place and location; we will try to get back. Just a hint to those coming in by plane or Americans that I think have different expectations. There are no pool towels, we had to buy pool towels, they give us one bath and hand towel each (based on persons on reservation), not all beds were made up so I had to make up one of the beds we decided to use, which was the one I think they thought we would not use. There is no bar or dish soap. Tiny bit of washing powder and some dishwasher tabs, no roll of paper towels. So pack it in or buy it when you get there, all this was not a deal breaker, but it is different than American VRBO expectations. Again, we did really love the unit, location, parking, beach and vibe of the area.

Fabulous

Great apartment in a perfect central location with lovely outdoor space and great views. We were two friends so the separate bedrooms on different floors with our own bathroom each was perfect. Everything was provided and the apartment was clean and very comfortable. We ate out all the time but would be fine if you wanted to self cater. A couple of minor negatives - the stairs are fairly steep and the shower room to the upstairs bedroom was very compact (with little storage space) so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, same would apply to the swimming pool - lots of steps up to it. The swimming pool area was a bit disappointing (albeit with nice views) there were limited beds / shades and the grass area was wet and muddy. The other minor issue were the lights in the hallway to/from the apartment that were on sensors but failed to come on straight away so you were walking in the dark! Overall a great stay and would happily stay again.

We are a French-Portuguese family with 3 children who live in Paris. We spend our holidays for 15 years in the center of Algarve.

We love everything of the Algarve : the climate summer and winter alike, the gastronomy, the sympathy of the portugueses, the beautiful fine sand beaches, the paths along the coast, the freshness of the Serra de Monchique and the medieval ferias of Silves, the wild islands which surround the lagoon da Ria Formosa, the desert of the cape St Vincent, the history of Sagres, the boat trips...

The children like quite particularly the aquatic parks, the Zoo Marine, the circuit of kart of Almancil...

Finally, we appreciate just as much to have within reach of hands the comfort and the modern infrastructures of an European country.

Because we really like very much Algarve, we intend even to move there one day...

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

After spending holidays in central Algarve for 15 years, we decided to buy a property. We chose this residence because the location is exceptional and it is one of the last new modern building having been built in sea front.

We fell under the fisherman's village of Olhos d’Agua and its eponym beach who knew how to keep their traditional character.
The name ' Olhos d' Agua ' means ' eyes of water ', it comes from the fresh water springs that rise in the beach.

When you leave the building, you are on a pedestrian street which allows you a direct access to the beach. It offers you numerous snack bars, ice-cream bars and restaurants where you can have an outdoor drink in the terrace to contemplate the horizon.
The pedestrian street continues on a walk lined with palm trees along the beach to arrive at the huts of traditional fishermen with lovely colored boats on the banister of launch.
You do not have more than to take advantage of grilled sardines or seafood platter to the restaurant ' La Cigale ' or simply a ' bica ' (strong coffee).
If you like sport, in low tide you can walk (or run) on the fine sand during almost 7 km until famous Vilamoura, its casino and its marina.

If you love marine life, you can observe between tides : limpets, topshells, buckshot barnacles, sea anemones and brightly coloured seaweed. The jagged rock formations give rise to isolated group of rocks, undercutting, archess, cavities and small sheltered coves, especially at the western end of the beach.

If you play golf, you can reach in 10 min on foot Balaia Golf, course of 9 holes. Approximately 18 golf, on 36 that offers Algarve, are situated unless 20 min by car.

If you are fond of night parties, Albufeira is accessible unless 5 min by car or by the local bus 'EVA' nearby.

Olhos d’Agua offers in the same time the peace and the charm of an old fishermen's village and the proximity of all the urban conveniences.
Its central location in Algarve allows to have a fast access to the airport (30 km), to visit the west coast until the Cap Sao Vicente (1h10 by A22), or to leave eastward to Castro Marim (50 min).
Algarve is a magnificent region which offers a big diversity of landscapes, atmospheres, activities, climate. That is why, everybody can spend of excellent holidays there and compose so its own souvenirs. If you wish, we can recommend you addresses or major sites, according to your tastes.

The duplex was carefully fitted out, it is functional and very well equipped. He allows to take advantage completely of holidays all year round: the system of air-conditioning in all the rooms brings some freshness in summer and heating for the colder months of winter.
You take advantage of an exceptional view from the private terrace or from the swimming pool fitted out with green spaces. Private parking lot closed for 2 cars.
Towels, bed linen and cleaning are included in the price of the rent. Towels are changed twice a week, linen of bed changed once a week.
