Hello Lilian, sorry you are so dissatisfied with your stay. I trust you are not complaining about all the money issues because you did not receive the reimbursement you Demanded for the one night you did not have access to the Jacuzzi. You were very hostile, rude and angry. When you called me to tell me how disappointed you were not to have use of the Jacuzzi. To claim I was “abusive and abrasive in communication” is just not true. This statement applies more to you than myself. My goal is in his always been to treat our guests with the upmost respect and do what we can to make their stay the best possible. We stand by all our dozens of five star reviews and wonderful experiences noted in all our reviews of all your complaints. I don’t believe anyone has ever referenced having experienced any of the complaints. You have stated. Never any complaints of the. .24/7 freeway noise, which is 1 mile away, no complaints of constant barking dogs from our neighbors and regarding the “ over whelming musty smell”, we have not had that complaint either. Our cleaning crew said they did not notice a smell when they cleaned after you left. Your stay began August 20 the day tropical storm Hillary struck San Diego three days of rain, downed trees and 100% humidity. With doors and windows closed. It is likely that most homes would have this odor. As you said once you open the doors and windows the smell is lessened. regarding the ongoing construction, one block north of the property. Del Mar has strict construction times of operation with strict enforcement again, the previous guests that stayed at the property, and they guess that stayed at the property after you left, none mentioned any of the issues you have pointed out Ironically, all of our dozens of guest, many repeat customers, come back because of the tranquility, peaceful, feeling that they enjoy doing their visit. I wonder how peaceful and tranquil a person you are?
