Modern first floor apartment close to the meadows, perfect for a small family

Living Area

Sea Air has a generous open plan living / dining space. The lounge area has a Smart TV/DVD player, two large sofas, a dining area with table, 2 chairs & bench. The galley kitchen has a washer/dryer, fridge (with ice box), hob, oven, microwave and plenty of pots and pans.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Off the hall to the right is the main bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room. The bedroom has a storage cupboard with hanging space, drawers, vanity area, and Smart TV. Across the hall is the second bedroom with full-size bunks, TV, drawers, and clothes stand. Next to the second bedroom is the recently refurbished family bathroom with bath and overhead rainfall shower with adjustable handheld shower too.

Heating

Full central heating throughout, operated remotely too so we can warm the house ready for your arrival in the winter months.

Outside Area

Sea Air is close to the meadows for walks and picnics, and you are welcome to use the lawned area in front of or behind the apartment for sitting out. All grounds are communal​.

Parking

There are large parking bays on Woodspring Way, just outside the apartment. There's also two electric car charging points on Woodspring Way - payment required.

Other Things to Note

Two well-behaved dogs welcome.
This apartment is on the first floor, accessible via stairs only.
This property does NOT have a dishwasher.

A breath of freshvair at Sea Air

Love staying at the bay . Apartment cosy and fully equipt. Just a guaranteed home from home in a location ideal for walking. Lots if traditional pub grub and coffe and cake stops. Dog heaven

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Air and we will hopefully be returning. Great walking spaces for the dogs and ample space for myself, my mum and two children.

Lovely stay at Sea Air

Had a weeks stay at Sea Air. Apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Surrounding area was fantastic to visit.

Ideal for a family beach holiday

Positive: Easy access, EV charging, 15 min walk to beach, excellent provisions, great communication with host, tastefully decorated Negative: mattress and pillows could have been better quality, boiler temperature perhaps hotter than necessary, pool within complex was fairly basic.

Lovely little retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Air. Beautiful apartment, very well appointed and clean and comfortable. In a great spot. We've stayed at The Bay on several occasions, and this was one of the best. The bed was a little too firm for our liking but that's just our personal choice. Would love to come again.

Pleasant pick me up

With many years staying at this resort at various accommodation, this apartment was very comfortable, well equipped, in good condition, warm, nicely decorated with a seaside feel, ( my preferred look when at the coast) and clean. In my opinion brilliant value for money.The management at Filey Bay Direct, also are extremely thoughtful and helpful.

Home from home

It was a fantastic apartment, it had every comfort needed, it was in a good location and very quiet. The only downside was the mattress in the main bedroom, it was hard and lumpy, my partner had broken sleep over the 3 nights, but we will be rebooking the apartment in the autumn.

Comfortable dog friendly apartment

We found Sea Air to be a comfortable well appointed first floor apartment. We would certainly book this accommodation again. The Bay at Filey is a unique holiday village and feels very much a home from home. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it's clear the employees take a pride in their work. Super dog friendly, plenty of dog walking areas and dog waste bins. Dog companions are welcome in the bar and restaurant, which meant we could relax with drinks and a meal. The food is okay at The John Paul bar and restaurant - no complaints but nothing special either. Staff polite and friendly, plus the service was quick. The Black Cat Pizzeria provides a great stone baked pizza (and we know our Italian foods). We would be happy to return to Sea Air and The Bay at Filey.

A short stay at Sea Air Oct 2023

This apartment was great for our short break and would have worked for a much longer stay. Everything waslovely and the owner very helpful prior to our arrival when I had a query. The one downside was that none of the street lights or porch lights came on at night, for any of these buildings, making it difficult to unload the car. So please take a torch if you book anywhere around here.

Fabulous Filey!

Enjoyed a lovely 3 night break at the apartment. It was ideal for two friends as there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, although bear in mind that the second bedroom is bunks. Plenty of space in the lounge for us and a fully equipped kitchen. We had two cars but had no problems parking both. The Filey Bay complex is very nice and it is great being able to walk to Filey along the beach. We didn't try the pool or gym.

A well appointed apartment with lots of amenities

A well appointed two bedroom apartment. Large open plan living area with a useful kitchen. Bathroom and en-suite with is great. Good location to travel around Yorkshire. Easy access to a dog friendly beach. Onsite pub is expensive with slow service, go to Hunmanby instead. Didn’t use the leisure facilities as the pool opening times didn’t fit in with our plans.( none of this is the fault of Filey Bay just my opinion. I would recommend this apartment and Holiday village to others. Nice to have houses, apartments and cabins on site to choose from. Went in March and the weekend was busier than expected.

Filey Bay - Sea Air August 2024

We loved the location and the apartment was beautiful and well maintained and the added touches (games / films / books etc) made it a “home from home”. However we did find the mattress not to our taste and quite uncomfortable but everyone can be a bit picky when it comes to mattresses; however this meant that a decent nights sleep was not had. I would also make a suggestion that if dogs are being allowed to stay at the apartment that precautions are taken to ensure that unwanted guests don’t remain

Good locations for walks along the cliffs, the wolds, and the moors.

We would have prefered a dish washer over the washing machine. An opportunity for buying groceries without taking the car would have been great. The bed and linen have been comfortable and we enjoyed our stay in Filey Bay.

Wonderful clean apartment

The property is clean with full of characters. Full equipped . Just need a electric fan for summer . Would recommend it . I properly will return if come to Filey again in the future.

I am Paula, and I manage Sea Air apartment for my friends Dawn and Peter. I have other properties at The Bay and enjoy holidaying there a few times a year. I live in Sheffield, but wish I was closer! It really is so relaxing there!

I manage Sea Air and other properties at The Bay as part of FileyBayDirect (FBD), and in my spare time I enjoy time with my husband, 3 children and cockapoo Ellie.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sea Air is a lovely warm, cosy apartment, in a secure block of just a few units. It has an external door and private entrance upstairs, and is very quiet. You have all the home comforts you need, including wifi, TV in lounge and bedroom, and washing machine - the only thing missing is a dishwasher but otherwise we have everything you'd expect for a self-catering holiday. Plenty of parking just outside too.
