Another great week in Filey at the Bay. Easy access to the beach and great walks. Filey, Bempton and Flamborough in easy reach. Plenty to do and see in the area.

Summer trip

We had a wonderful stay at no11 Woodspring way, the property was lovely, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The location was great with pub,shop,arcade and leisure centre just a short walk through the village. Communication with the host was fantastic from booking to departure, thanks for a lovely stay x

A clean and comfortable apartment 10 minute walk to the sea

We booked last minute but the apartment was very clean and ready to go. It was very quiet and comfortable for two people with sep bedroom for two young children. There is more than adequate cooking facilities and the bathrooms were both excellent. The location is good for exploring the coast up to Whitby and down to Bridlington and also for excursions inland. We would recommend the cliffs at Flamborough Head for seal watching. We would definitely like to stay again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

A superb find

We found this property by chance for a last minute booking and was really surprised with how great it was. The location is brilliant, has direct access to the beach (although coming back it’s up a hill, which was no issue for us and a nice walk, however wouldn’t be great for people who have trouble walking). The accommodation itself was really nice - had everything we needed and was perfect for our stay. We really enjoyed it!

A breath of freshvair at Sea Air

Love staying at the bay . Apartment cosy and fully equipt. Just a guaranteed home from home in a location ideal for walking. Lots if traditional pub grub and coffe and cake stops. Dog heaven

Lovely stay at Sea Air

Had a weeks stay at Sea Air. Apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Surrounding area was fantastic to visit.

4 night stay, no issues

This small 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our small family and dog. You spend most of your time out and about so the accommodation is just a base. It contained everything we needed. Plenty of free parking and easy to drive to other places on the coast. The price was very reasonable for the time of year and quality of facilities the bay has to offer. Only things to be aware of really is this is a first floor apartment so means plenty of trips up and down when bringing on the luggage and the building itself is towards the bay resort entrance so a further walk than other houses to the beach and facilities.

Ideal for a family beach holiday

Positive: Easy access, EV charging, 15 min walk to beach, excellent provisions, great communication with host, tastefully decorated Negative: mattress and pillows could have been better quality, boiler temperature perhaps hotter than necessary, pool within complex was fairly basic.

Lovely,cosy apartment.

Sea Air was recommended to us by our Son who had previously stayed there. We were extremely happy with the lovely,cosy apartment. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Would definitely recommend

Lovely little retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Air. Beautiful apartment, very well appointed and clean and comfortable. In a great spot. We've stayed at The Bay on several occasions, and this was one of the best. The bed was a little too firm for our liking but that's just our personal choice. Would love to come again.

Home from home

It was a fantastic apartment, it had every comfort needed, it was in a good location and very quiet. The only downside was the mattress in the main bedroom, it was hard and lumpy, my partner had broken sleep over the 3 nights, but we will be rebooking the apartment in the autumn.

Pleasant pick me up

With many years staying at this resort at various accommodation, this apartment was very comfortable, well equipped, in good condition, warm, nicely decorated with a seaside feel, ( my preferred look when at the coast) and clean. In my opinion brilliant value for money.The management at Filey Bay Direct, also are extremely thoughtful and helpful.

A short stay at Sea Air Oct 2023

This apartment was great for our short break and would have worked for a much longer stay. Everything waslovely and the owner very helpful prior to our arrival when I had a query. The one downside was that none of the street lights or porch lights came on at night, for any of these buildings, making it difficult to unload the car. So please take a torch if you book anywhere around here.

Fabulous Filey!

Enjoyed a lovely 3 night break at the apartment. It was ideal for two friends as there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, although bear in mind that the second bedroom is bunks. Plenty of space in the lounge for us and a fully equipped kitchen. We had two cars but had no problems parking both. The Filey Bay complex is very nice and it is great being able to walk to Filey along the beach. We didn't try the pool or gym.
