Welcome to Bliss On The Bay - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

Enter into the hallway with space to hang your gear after a day at the beach!

Decorated throughout in early 2024 to a high standard and featuring refreshed bathroom, new furniture, carpets and bed this is a lovely apartment for a short or long break.

Off the hallway is a refreshed family bathroom with shower over and a spacious bedroom with comfy double bed, new carpets and smart tv and lots of storage.

In the lounge diner you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, 3* freezer box, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, air-fryer and microwave plus plenty of cookware for family breaks.

The dining area comfortably sits 4 at the circular table.

The lounge area features a large TV (SMART) with comfy sofa (sofa bed) which can be selected at checkout for use for children or a third / fourth guest.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy apartment is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Lovely 4 day break

Excellent stay at Bliss on the Bay. Good location. Property clean & comfortable. We were concerned that it maybe a little noisy when we entered the hallway, from other resident properties , but no it was very quiet. There is ample parking near the property. We didn't use the eating places so can't comment on those, but my husband did use the pool & said it was a decent size & very clean. Would definately return.

The property was very welcoming and clean. We were very comfortable staying here. We mainly cooked our own meals but on the first night we had a meal at the pub. We had a great time and felt very safe.

Ideal short break

Lovely few days away. Enjoyed the beach walk and leisure facilities on site. Accommodation wears clean and well equipped though water pressure for the shower was poor

Lovely Appartment

Bliss on the Bay is a lovely appartment, very well furnished with everything for your holiday. Plenty of parking. Anchor Bay holidays are an excellent site to book your holidays at The Bay with, thank you for another lovely stay in a fab appartment

Excellent break in this gem of a flat

Thanks to Anthony and his team for allowing me to turn up a year late! Illness prevented us staying last year and it was lovely to be able to move the booking. Absolutely loved the apartment and the Bay is a gem, especially with all the new landscaping and the coastal path. Our walk to Reighton Sands and back along the cliff path was especially memorable. Everything was great in the apartment and thank you for your kind attention to detail before, during and after my stay. The one teeny niggle is there was quite a lot of debris under the furniture and a smelly single sock under the bed, and I had to dishwasher some of the crockery, cutlery and air fryer pans before use, but I'm sure a good vacuum and check up will get rid of those minor picks. The rest of the apartment was immaculate and so lovely to have a Tassimo, air fryer, dishwasher, washing machine and quality crockery etc at such a good price point.

Ideal for us

We love visiting Filey out of season to walk on the beach with our dog and Bliss on the Bay provided everything we needed for our short stay (& everything we would need for a longer stay too). It was modern, clean & attractively furnished and decorated. The pass for the gym and swimming pool at The Bay was provided and there is a shop and an excellent pub within the complex. The access to the beach is very steep (a little treacherous) so good footwear is essential (a longer alternative route is available).

Lovely short break

Had a fabulous few days away, apartment was clearly freshly decorated and had everything we needed. Bed and pillows a little soft for us, but that’s just personal preference. Used the pool every morning during the adult only session. Great walk along the beach into Filey.

Lovely dog friendly stay

Lovely clean dog friendly apartment. Just what we expected. Need dust pan and brush. Also why would you have plates that are not dish washer safe??

Lovely Little Break

We had a lovely 4 night break at Bliss On The Bay. The apartment was clean and freshly decorated. The correspondence from Anchor was very good too. We visited the pool twice and found the staff and facilities very good. The pub, John Paul Jones was expensive but I suppose that this is to be expected on a development like this.

A lovely break

We had a lovely stay at the end of half-term with our grandaughter and little dog. The apartment was very well equipped and clean. It was well located but it was a little difficult to find as the numbers did not seem to follow on. We used the pool and facilities which were great. We had expected more places to eat than the pub which was very busy on the first night so we ate elsewhere but the staff were polite and helpful. Filey Bay is stunning and we will definitely return.

Amazing stay in a beautiful place

Excellent apartment in a gorgeous location. The apartment has great facilities and amenities. It is modern, clean and spacious. We will be back as we really enjoyed the stay and everything it had to offer in close proximity. The apartment had a smart tv. Excellent value for money. We went to the amusements, swimming, restaurant and shop on site. We also had a lovely walk down to the beautiful beach and walked into Filey along the sea front.

Lovely place to stay

The apartment was very nice, well equipped and very comfortable. The only very small fault was that the heating wasn’t quite set right so we found that because the weather was quite cold we found it a bit chilly. Having said that It was a lovely site very peaceful, and well cared for. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and look forward to returning in the future.

All OK apart from dirty toilet rim the tile grout was all so dirtyapart

Apartments very pleased with location spot on all neat and tidy apart from very dirty and stained toilet rim you could see it ass you walked in also tile grout needed a good clean site was very well looked after but not happy cafe not open

We are so sorry you had the issues with the rim and grout - this was due to the extractor fan not expelling the air as the previous guests had turned this off. This has now been switched on, the grout cleaned and the rim descaled. We hope to see you again soon!

The Bliss on the bay

Lovely apartment ground floor did hear a bit of noise from apartments above but that is expected when staying in apartment block . Nice touch with welcome packs , dog mat and bowls , available to use. Good size apartment living area , kitchen open plan and well equipped . Bed was comfortable plenty of storage space in the bedroom . In a good spot not far from pub, Gym ,pool, Tennis courts. Meadows across the road and not a long walk down to the beach . We enjoyed our stay and would defiantly book again , we have stayed a few times on The Bay in a Cottage with the rest of our family , but this apartment was perfect for the two of us and the dog .

Bliss on the Bay

Lovely place to stay, very well equipped with anything you might need including extra cookware and cleaning products. Very close to amenities and a short drive to various places of interest. Lots of extra little touches such as games to keep your little ones occupied. The only negative was the apartment was too cold for us when we went in beginning of march. We didn’t turn the heating above what the owner’s instructions advised as we didn’t want to incur extra charges. We had approx 1/2 hr of heating per day which wasn’t enough to keep the apartment warm. Luckily the apartment was supplied with fleecy blankets which we had to make use of daily.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you had a good holiday. We don't say you cannot use the heating - all you had to do was turn the thermostat in the bedroom up to get warmer or down to lower the temperature. We include all heating with all holidays and we would have advised you how to turn it up should you have contacted us.

A wonderful 2 night stay. I cannot fault this in anyway, it was exceptional in all areas and we will be back!
