The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen had everything you would need if cooking meals. The sunroom was such a nice place to sit and relax at the end of the evening. All of the bedrooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable. Added bonus in one of the bedrooms there was a toddler bed which our grandson loved. There were lots of extra bath towels. We would definitely stay again.

Great spot. Agree pictures don't do it justice. Enjoyed sitting in front and back porch and relaxing with friends. Three beds were perfect for us and kitchen was well stocked!

This is the 3rd time we have rented this home. It’s great for family gatherings and being all together in one house. The house was well supplied and we worked well with the host who was very responsive. You can enjoy sitting on the large front porch or relax in the 3-season room that had comfortable furniture with a TV. The house is in a beautifully wooded neighborhood and not far from the wonderful beaches of Lake Michigan. Will certainly rent here again.

Great location and cozy home where we could spread out. Even though we didn’t get to use the bikes, it was a perk to have them offered to use. Maybe post wi-fi info on the fridge for future renters to access. Thank you for the stay!

We loved our stay here! Like the other reviews mentioned, the pictures just don’t do this place justice. We had more than enough room for our family of five and didn’t feel cramped at all when two more family members stopped by to visit. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the living room, front porch, and sunroom were great for relaxing after a day at the beach (which is a quick 6-7 minute drive away). Check-in was as simple as could be and check-out was very reasonable, too! We couldn’t have been happier with our time here and hope to visit again next year!

Family fun times at “cottage in the woods”

Beautiful, well kept home! We enjoyed relaxing and playing games in the three season porch. The house is stocked with everything you need.Beds were very comfortable.The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the area. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Winstrom Park where we enjoyed playing pickle ball, tennis and disc golf.A couple of miles from Holland State park made for a fun day at the beach, and sunsets at night!This home is close to all Holland has to offer!

Great location close to water!

Property was exactly as described and very clean. Great location by the marina and water. Owner was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was great to be able to stay for only a few nights as that is all we needed. Definitely recommend if looking for a place in Holland to stay and be close to water and not too far from state park.

Girls Trip

Let me start off by saying the pictures on the website do not do this property justice. There is a screened in porch on the back. There's a beautiful deck on the front.Three spacious bedrooms, two full baths, beautiful eating kitchen as well as a dining room and a front room even a reading nook. This house was conveniently located .We spent time in Holland, Grand Haven and Sagautak . I would highly recommendAnd would stay there again.

Good for families

This house worked super well for our family of 3 with a 2 year old. I stayed upstairs with him and the bedrooms share a bathroom in between and can be completely closed off from the rest of the house. The carpeted stairs were very quiet so I could walk around without waking my toddler. There’s lots of bed options for kids-pack and plays and a toddler bed upstairs. Even a changing table and high chair!The only thing we needed was a gate for the stairs but it wasn’t a big deal. One thing to mention is that you definitely cannot see the lake from the house. Maybe if you look very hard across the street between the neighbors landscaping. Otherwise no view! But we found the house very comfortable and good for families with children.

We loved our time at the cottage! The space was perfect for what we needed (3 bedrooms, a space for the kids to play, close to the water and downtown Holland, clean and homey). Chris was a great property manager- friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

Beautiful quiet spot

The house is on a quiet street in walking distance from the marina. It is clean and has an airy pleasant atmosphere. We had only 4 of us so the 3 bedroom house was perfect. I appreciated the ease of check in and out with this location. The key instructions and checkout instructions were easy to find and easy to follow. I will book this again. Especially if we bring our boat next time.

Get Away

It was clean and well appointed! The location was really great. We liked that the master was on the first floor and our daughter’s room was upstairs! We are fairly tall and one of us is 6’6 and the furniture was comfortable! The only suggestion we would have is to have an electric griddle for guests to use!

Beautiful home, perfect location, great owner

The house is gorgeous and had everything we needed. If you're looking to cook, the kitchen is great and the dining area lovely. There is also a screened-in porch out back which was a nice place to have coffee in the morning. There were a few questions we had during our stay and the owner responded quickly and provided us with all of the information we needed. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend the property and the owner.
