This beautiful and bright 5 bedroom, 3 bath beach house with outdoor shower, central AC is perfect for your family vacation. Walk to the ocean or use the parking permit and key to park on the dunes and step right down the best stretch of beach in all of Montauk. Step outside to the never-ending wrap-around porch to listen to the waves, where you can grill and enjoy family meals on the teak dining set, or lounge and enjoy a cocktail on the oversized outdoor sectional. At dusk, gather around the oversized gas fire-pit with matching Adirondack chairs.

Inside, the spacious, open-floor plan features warm wide-plank pine floors throughout, a gourmet eat-in kitchen with sliding doors to the outdoor eating area, and a living room with cozy couches, a stone fireplace and a Smart TV. There are 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor and a full bathroom. The second floor includes a large master bedroom oasis with a king bed, gorgeous en-suite bath (steam shower, Jacuzzi, double vanity) and double doors to a wrap-around private balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a sunset drink while you watch the kids play in the yard. There is another full bathroom and two additional bedrooms upstairs -- a queen bedroom and a double bunk-bed room that is perfect for the kids (includes full over full and twin over twin bunks).

This home is ideal for two or three families vacationing together or an extended family vacation. The yard has plenty of space for bocce, corn hole, Frisbee or catching fireflies. Relax in the hammock or use the cedar and teak outdoor shower. If there's a rainy day, make use of the recreation room ("kid hangout") in the unfinished, yet inviting basement (ping pong table, foosball, ring "tiki" toss, darts), that also has a 50" TV and lots of cozy seating - there's also an extra refrigerator and the W/D. The house is fully-equipped with all your beach and kiddie entertainment needs (linens, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, bikes, sand toys, wagon, beach cart, etc.) So, pack your clothes and toiletries and get ready for an unforgettable family vacation in Montauk. No pets, no smoking, no share groups.

A super well equipped home with the absolute best host I have ever dealt with. Everything you could possibly need for hanging out at the beach. Great kitchen and outdoor seating with a fire pit and bbqs. Clean and well maintained in a quiet easy to walk neighborhood. Dan and Steph are very helpful with any information on the area you might need.

Great stay in Montauk!

This house was perfect for our group of cousins visiting Montauk for a family wedding. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and a great communal area in the living room and kitchen. The basement was awesome for playing games and the house had great driving proximity to everything we could want. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Porchtauk was the perfect size for our family! The house has everything you need for a beach week and is conveniently located close to the private (and best) beach in Montauk. We enjoyed all of the recommendations in town and hope to be back again!

Great Montauk Beach House

Everything about our stay was effortless. The owner was very easy to work with. Rental process was very straightforward. House is spotless and well equipped. It has everything you need for a week at the beach. Location is close to town and beach. We would definitely rent this house again.

Terrific location fully stacked awesome house!

Our yearly family vacation to the beach in Montauk, first time in this well stacked, roomy, comfortable house. All the comfort of home and all the beach accessories are at our disposal, walked 3 blocks to the beach and drove to the private lot which is very convenient. Comfortable beds and clean overall. Dan was a great host quickly responding to our needs, we will be back. Thank you, Dan!

Great house for your Montauk vacation

This was a perfect house for our vacation. Great location- short walk to beach and town and the beach parking pass made it easy to get all our stuff to the beach (which is gorgeous and not crowded even on weekends) The house is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels- everything you need. Beds are comfy and the house is very clean. Dan is a great host and is always available if you have questions. We'd definitely stay here again!

Best Montauk House Ever

We have been renting in Hither Hills Montauk for many years. This was the most wonderful house for a large family group. Every room was comfortable, well-appointed and better than described on the VRBO site. The kitchen was filled with everything you would need for a family dinner and the outside deck is spectacular. I would highly recommend this property for a family gather ing in beautiful Montauk. And one more thing, the owners are easy to work with and extremely nice.

Beautiful, Comfortable and Well Equipped

Everything about our stay at Porchtauk was wonderful! Communication with the Host was easy and quick. The house has everything you could need, and so many thoughtful extras! The house and grounds are beautiful and in a very peaceful and quiet area but with quick access to the beach (we took the bikes) and town. Would definitely return to this home! Thank you!

Dan is the best

We very much enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. It had plenty of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. We had breakfasts and dinners on the side porch which always had a nice breeze. The kids loved biking back and forth to the beach with the house bikes. The basement had lots of fun games and was a great spot for the teens. Dan was an amazing host and always available as needed to accommodate us. It was a perfect week off!

Friends/Family Getaway

This house and owner were fantastic! The house is even better than advertised. It easily slept our full group and had a perfect porch for family style bbq. The walk down to the (stunning) beach was quick and easy. We walked into town every morning for coffee, which was also an easy ~1.5 mile walk. The house also comes with everything you could ask for (beach chairs, umbrella, games, speaker). The master bedroom has a beautiful wrap around porch upstairs too, that is perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine under the stars! Dan was extremely responsive and helpful- he was a pleasure to rent from and I hope to go back again in the future!

Perfectly Thoughtful and Appointed Property; Pristine and Cozy

Porchtauk is the best property I have ever stayed at through any online rental service. The property is so well appointed with amenities galore - it is as though the hosts have thought of every possible activity and moment you may have at the property and anticipated what item or space may fulfill that need. It is such a thoughtful, cozy, and well-done space that gave the perfect backdrop for creating memories with my young family and our parents, as well. It is close enough to all the action with still being set on a quiet block. There is private beach access that was easy to get to and utilize. I cannot say enough about the host Dan and how wonderful he was. Friendly, hospitable, and very communicative. I loved our stay here and would say to anyone "on the fence" about renting this property to rent it! We cannot wait to return!

Awesome weekend

What a beautiful home! I was lucky enough to snag this home for my wedding weekend. It was going to be a magical weekend no matter what, but this house truly made it that much more special. The details in the home were wonderful. The space was perfect for my family and for my bridesmaids to hang, get ready and take pictures. Dan was great to work with. We had open communication and worked together to make the weekend perfect. Every person who stepped in the home thought it was amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if others would be renting next. And that porch was so relaxing!! Perfect weekend! Thank you again for letting us experience this magical time in our lives at your home. We are so grateful for working with such great people with such a beautiful place.

what a house!

This house had it all. Great set up from the beautiful wrap around porch and deck - great for sitting outside at night (and easy access to the kitchen) to the comfortable hammock and great outdoor shower. The master bedroom was a dream - can see the stars at night through the skylight. Every room was better than the pictures show. House was an easy 10 minute walk to the beach in a quieter part of town so no crazy crowds - felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Also parking pass made bringing beach gear down very easy. The house has everything you could possibly need for the beach - chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards, bocce, toys for kids, stroller and fishing pole. The owners were very nice and extremely accommodating. This house is perfect for families, especially those with young kids. Our three year old daughter loved the "starfish" house and we cant wait to return next summer!

Perfect in every way!!!

The owners are extremely responsive, the house has everything one needs including items for infants. The house is very clean, the location couldn't be better, walking distance to the beach and close to town. WE LOVED IT!!! There is nothing I would change about it, and the house certainly made our vacation terrific. We had six people, 2 toddlers, and it was absolutely perfect!! And the kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything!!! We are planning to rent it again next summer for sure!!! Like I said, there is nothing I would change about it. Perfect in every way!!!

Wonderful stay in terrific Montauk house - close to everything

PorchTauk lived up to its great expectations. A warm and sophisticated house, super well appointed, with ample room to stay yet intimate, with generous offerings from towel to toys to basement games - close to beach and town - in an awesome neighborhood. And of course - the pièce de résistance – the porch. Where we taulked and lounged and read and taulked some more. Wonderful hosts to boot. (I feel like we would be friends.) Super generous with so much helpful information and a sense of humor. We will be back - thank you for a great kickoff to summer and memories that will last a lifetime!

Laid back guests like you guys are simply the best and it's so funny because I said the same thing to my wife in the middle of your stay - these guys could be our new best friends (admittedly, that came after you told me you were playing Pearl Jam!! - for anyone reading this, the house is adorned with a bunch of PJ posters.) Perfect end to the summer

Daniel was an amazing host, very accessible and gave us great insider tips for enjoying the area. The house is a perfect beach house, with an open dining living area and 5 good sized bedrooms. The basement provides another well laid out hang out area, and our kids loved the ping pong action. There are lots of beach chairs, towels, imbrellas and everythung was easy to find. We especially loved the porch, and all had our favorite spots there. We ate most of our meals outside and loved hearing the waves and watching birds, bunnies and deer. There aee ither houses nearby, but the porch and side yard feel very private. My son would like to live here. So would I!

Great Montauk experience!

We had an amazing stay in Montauk with our family friends and just loved everything about this house. Not only was the house wonderful, but the owner, Dan was great to deal with. The house was beautiful (even better in person than the photos) and fully stocked with everything we needed for a great Montauk vacation. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, coolers and a great kitchen. We loved the porch, outdoor space and especially the close proximity to the beach. We will definitely be back again!

Cozy and comfy beach house with a magnificent porch

Dan and Steph were spot on and always available for our questions and concerns. Dan’s responses were prompt and he was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is extremely comfortable and the porch was magnificent as we spent all our time outside whether it was eating or lounging about. The hammock and outdoor shower were the best. Porchtauk was also well appointed and served our every need. All I can say is just come, relax and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed. My family highly recommends Porchtauk for a memorable Montauk vacation.

Great Beach House

Exactly as advertised and I would actually say nicer than the pictures. Well stocked house with lots of beach gear. Great neighborhood and lots of space for two families with young kids.

When Dan was 12 years old he started throwing loose change in a giant water jug to save for comic books and records - he called it the "Jar of Dreams". Later in his youth, this bucket turned into a personal "college fund". Well, 6 years of saving loose change wasn't really enough so loans ensued, college came and went - yet every week, he added more spare change and sometimes even a few bucks. Decades later, he finally had the perfect reason to roll up the quarters and scrape together the rest (with just a little help from the bank...) to buy our dream home. We are two high school sweethearts, along with our 3 kids, that decided to just go for it because life's too short. Montauk is such a special place where we've already made so many amazing memories - we can't wait to continue to live out our "dreams" on the East End.

That feeling of crossing onto Old Montauk Highway, the car rising and descending with the gentle hills, and soon seeing the glimmering miracle of the Atlantic for the first time (right about when you hit Gurney's). That's the secret stuff. Take that feeling and sprinkle it out over an extended stay at this perfectly situated home. After all, there's nothing more relaxing than a beach house.

As much as we love our home and all its comforts and amenities, the location and easy access to the beach is what makes it our dream home. It's simple to walk down Jackson Rd. or a 1 minute drive with the private beach pass where you can literally park right on the dunes (no SUV needed)! The beach itself is the nicest in Montauk and we think it's the best stretch of beach on the entire East End. Unparalleled views in an uncrowded, family-friendly setting is our version of paradise.

Every need will be attended to and we will do our absolute best to ensure you and your family enjoy the best possible beach vacation.
