The condo was beautiful. We just didn’t know that the lazy river was under construction. Right on the beach, the location was great.

Pretty good room just some things to point out that the owners and future guests should know:1. Hard to tell in this photo but the air register vents in the living room have black mold growing on them. The cleaning staff works for a 3rd party, not the resort (more on that later), so they need to add that to their checklist because this is pretty common with the humid ocean air and they should use hydrogen peroxide to clean it, not just regular cleaning chemicals.2. Other than that the room was good though a suggestion to the owners would be to add some blackout curtains to the rooms for guests that don't want to be awoken at sunrise and more than one extra trash bag.3. The main thing about this place is that it is managed by Casago, not Las Palomas so that means you need to check in at a different location in town (not a big deal) but then you'll get a different color wristband and everyone working at the resort kind of just treats you differently knowing you are not a Las Palomas real guest, including security. You also cannot get the same maid service or ask questions about the maid service because it is a 3rd party but all this is in the listing so I can't fault the owner there. But you will not get bellboy service for help with your bags unless you convince them to work for you without their boss seeing, and there could be other small things like this. Overall, I rated it as OK

We fished, had a good catch, then enjoyed an outdoor grilled fish dinner with friends on the balcony. Very comfortable setting.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION / Better options @ Resort

I Have been coming to Las Palomas for 8yrs now . And each time I have Always booked through VRBO. This property is extremely mis leading. It is 100% off site check in and when I messaged the property owner all he stated was I clearly didn’t read the emails following my booking. When searching my emails it was in fact in my junk folder . The property mgmt is Casago and located approx 7-10 minutes from property. So after I put my children back into the car we drove there and waited to check in and get wrist bands . Now under this listing what made me the MOST irate is the fact that this A hole stated the property is this, is that but specifically states “No Chores” needed to be done . This in fact is 100% FALSE . On the second day of staying there the cleaning crew literally only re positioned my bed blankets onto my bed but didn’t do all beds. . They didn’t re supppy with towels . They did however take out the trash. I then again messaged the Host and all he stated was “if you wish to leave , I’ll credit you back the for future nights”. I was like I didn’t drive 5 hrs to stay one night . So then we went to the local store to buy soap and wash products being we had to now to laundry (wash towels) but man o man in this complex you can literally do ONE load of towels (3 max towels) per day, it fills and dries at a snails pace . NEXT day : cleaning crew never came . We slept and stayed in sand and filth . Stay elsewhere ! Notice time on Clock for verification

Great Resort, but Disappointed with Laundry & Extra Charges Las Palomas Resort is a beautiful place with well-maintained pools and a great atmosphere. The overall experience was enjoyable, but there were a couple of issues that left a bad impression. First, the dryer in our unit did not work properly. I had to run it multiple times just to get our clothes almost dry, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Second, we were charged nearly $90 for a bedsheet that my daughter accidentally stained with period blood. While I understand that stains happen, this felt excessive. Blood can usually be washed out, and even if it wasn’t salvageable, these were not high-end sheets that justified such a steep charge. Also, keep in mind that housekeeping is minimal—it’s basically just someone making your bed, and tipping is expected. Overall, it’s a nice resort, but these issues were disappointing, especially given the price point.

Great Getaway

Loved our stay at this condo. Everything was as described on the VRBO site. We especially loved the view from the balcony. We made trips to the grocery store in town, to Wrecked on the Reef a few times and to JJ’s Cantina and we had dinner at Mare Blu Christmas night. All were close by and the food and drinks were great. Pools were nice. One of the hot tubs wasn’t working so the working one was super busy but the kids managed to enjoy them in the later hours of the evening. A great place to visit. No complaints.

Heavenly week at Las Palomas

We go to Rocky Point every fall break and always stay in Las Palomas. This was our first time in this room and we LOVED it!

Roomy condo in perfect building location

This is a roomy, clean and well equipped condo. I love this building because it gets morning sun on the huge balcony. It has a wonderful view. The pull out was fine for my son. The listing is incorrect in that it does not have a futon in the living room as well as the pull out couch. Otherwise the listing is accurate. This resort is such a great get away. The swim up pool bar and all the pools are great. The beach is so beautiful. Enjoy the covered beach chairs. I will rent this condo again.
