Villa 9 at Villas By The Cove is just steps from beautiful white sand beaches. Newly remodeled, convenient, and clean, this 700 sq. ft. stand alone villa offers privacy and comfort set back in a tropical lush garden filled with mango and palm trees. With an open floor plan including a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and living areas, this one bedroom villa suite sleeps 2 adults on a King bed and 1 adult (or 2 small children) on the full size sofa bed in the living room.
Our property offers shaded, well-landscaped grounds, private parking, high-speed wifi, Air Conditioning, and access to two gas bbq grills.

2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 1 beach umbrella and 1 cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beaches just across the street. Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from the Cove Park Beach where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in the The Cove's gentle beginner waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street.

Villas By The Cove is within easy walking distance of endless recreational activities and entertainment for all ages. For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Excellent restaurants, grocery stores, a bustling farmers' market, shopping plazas, spas, salons and nightlife are all a short walk away, and nearby Kalama Park offers tennis courts, basketball courts, a roller skating rink, large playground and running paths. A golfers' paradise, the Maui Nui Gold Club is 2.2 miles away, and the world famous courses in Wailea and Makena are a short 10 minute drive from the property.

Enjoy spectacular and memorable Maui sunsets every evening from Cove Park Beach, as well as sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Maui coastline, nearby islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokai, Maui's Mount Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains!

Wonderful place to stay!!

Perfect location just steps from the water. Unit #4 is the closest to the cove. I've stayed in 5 of the 9 units at this property and all have been great.

Perfect location

Nice space for a couple. Needs some work, but well worth the price. Loved the location...right across the beach! Perfect for stand up paddle boarding, long board surfing, snorkeling, and sunset gazing. Very close to delicious restaurants and grocery stores. Will stay here again for sure!

Maui Vacation Unit #4

Thank you Ralph and Marie for making our stay in Maui more than we could ask for. The Villa was clean, quite and in a perfect location. With the beach steps from our front door, we were able to sit outside and watch amazing sunsets, enjoy the sounds of the waves, gaze at the stars and enjoyed all that nature has to offer. The shops, restaurants & grocery stores were minutes away which made everything at our finger tips. A Great Vacation!

We stayed in 2 of the cottages and both were great. Perfect for us. The first 5 days we stayed in one of the renovated cottages and the rest of our stay was in a retro cottage with a new fridge, new TV, and best of all, a new and comfortable bed. The cottages are very close to whatever you need: food stores, shops, bars, etc. Right across from the complex are 2 wonderful beaches, 1 for surfing/paddle boarding and the other for snorkeling and tanning. The sunsets right outside the cottage door were amazing. The manager, Ralph, was friendly and looked after us very well. He made sure we were comfortable and even lent us beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. Thanks for helping to make our stay memorable, Ralph! We had a wonderful time and are very happy to recommend this property.

Hidden Gem!

This Villa in Kihei was a perfect summer getaway. The Villa was very clean and had plenty of room for our week stay. We met Ralph and he gave us plenty of ideas of things to do in Maui and showed us where the hidden beach was located. This beach is a very short walk across the street and and down a path and is where we spent many wonderful mornings swimming and was a perfect place to watch the amazing Maui sunsets! The location of this Villa is conveniently located to many local restaurants and shops. Many within walking distance. Ralph had a copy of the book Maui Revealed in the room that gave great reviews, maps and great ideas for what to do on our stay. The Villa had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel mask and a cooler are provided. We highly recommend this Villa and would not hesitate to stay here again!!

This is such a great location with individual villas located just steps away from Cove Beach with a nice ocean view. Just across the street there is access to a secluded beach and a short walk to Charley Young Beach. The villa has a private entrance and covered lanai with your own parking just a few feet away. Such a bonus when unloading heading out for a day adventure. The inside was spotless clean and without clutter. The a/c and two ceiling fans kept the place nice and comfortable. The wifi, beach gear, guides, and plenty of beach towels were nice amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and had a nice view of the cove. The many five star reviews of Maui Cove Park Inn should tell you this is a great place to stay. Can't end the review without saying thanks to Ralph. You do such a great job with this property and your hospitality is second to none....hope to be back soon!

Perfect Honeymoon Haven in Kihei

The property owned by Gal in Kihei proved to be more than just a place to stay; it was a complete tropical paradise that has been etched into our honeymoon memories forever. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with heartfelt touches of hospitality - a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us, setting the mood for a romantic retreat. This was just the first hint of the property's charm. It boasted immaculate and beautiful interiors, exuding a warm, inviting ambiance. The amenities were nothing short of wonderful. Everything was thoughtfully designed with the guests' comfort in mind. What really set our stay apart was the extraordinary level of hospitality. When our flight was unexpectedly cancelled, the management was kind enough to extend our stay by an extra day at no additional cost. This gesture allowed us to fully enjoy our honeymoon without any stress of finding a new place or additional charges. To top it all off, when we encountered a minor issue - a broken blender, the response was swift and efficient. Within minutes, the property manager was at our doorstep with a new blender top, allowing us to continue our smoothie-making plans without a hitch. Our experience was a combination of a stunning location, incredible amenities, and unparalleled hospitality. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a remarkable stay in Kihei. It is a place where you're treated not just as guests, but as ohana. Five stars all around, mahalo!

Wonderful Stay at Villas by the Cove

Wonderful stay from beginning to end! We had a big group and rented almost all the villas. Everyone had their own privacy in their villa when needed and the pavilion pool area was great for being together. Easy walk to town for food and drinks. Easy walk to the beach. Everything was great. If we go to Maui with a group we will definitely stay here again.

I really hate to leave such a glowing review because I know this place is going to be impossible to get into once word gets out. This is the loveliest VRBO we've ever enjoyed. PERFECT in every way from accommodations, appointments, and amenities to location to the countless beaches within walking distance. The staff could not be more pleasant. The cleaning crew is magical in their dedication and talent. The grounds are delightful. It's quiet as a church mouse. The owners thoughtfully provide beach chairs, umbrella, a cooler, a drying rack, beach towels, and boogie boards. One can lounge at the salt water pool either in the sun on a chaise or in the shade of a living adjacent sitting area. I'm copying some of the design elements they used in construction. Do you want to keep up with your yoga practice? No problem. Just join the team on MWF at 7 am. Reserved parking behind a gate. The road at the front is mostly used for walkers or an occasional local resident. The property offers 2 paddle boards for guest use. There's a giant park across the street. The local grocery store is within walking distance. We loved every minute of this place.

Awesome time and great location

We stayed in Villa 9 for 14 days with our 2 children. There was more than enough room. The place was very accommodating and close to the beach. It is also very close and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was very nice and always there to help or just to chat. We hope to one day come back!

A beautifully renovated villa on the Cove in Maui steps from the beach.

The villa was lovely and is well equipped. We enjoyed using the free paddle boards and the 100 steps to take them to the beach. The management are friendly and responsive. The brand new pool is beautiful and the lounge chairs are so comfortable. We loved it so much, that my parents are staying there in February. We will definitely return to the Villas by the Cove and we highly recommend staying there.

Great place in a great location

Great partial ocean views! If your looking to learn to surf, this place is perfect; you’re right across the street from a beginner break and have free access to boards. You’re also very close to a large beautiful, swimmable beach (<5min walk). For those with a kid, there was a large playground in walking distance. The place has a new owner, who is very responsive. I would comment on the place itself but we were told it’s being fully renovated so there’s no need; I would assume it will be even nicer for the next guests. Highly recommend!

Great location

So the unit was good. A little seaside bungalow. 3 of 8 nights their was middle of the night screaming and anger from the park right across the street. I roll with whatever, but it was off putting.

Great location and privacy

This is a nice spacious place. Could use a little paint touch up here and there but overall a clean and quite place to stay. Great location with a surf beach across the street and a huge sun, swim, paddle board beach just a quick walk up the street. I would stay here again.

One of the most convenient places for us

Great location, very clean, has all that we needed (they even had decaf coffee !!) great service, very informative, and very very close to two great beaches the cove and Charles young beach, what more can we ask for ? it really felt like home. If we go back we would love to stay there again.

Wonderful fun and relaxing

Maui Cove Park is centrally located off S. Kihei Rd right across from Cove park and beaches. We loved sitting out on our patio with morning coffee orhaving our dinner outside with the sunrise and sunsets. Villa 4 has everything in the kitchen you need , lots of storage for suitcases and closet space. Well equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards. You can easily walk to many restaurants and 2 grocery stores. We used the well maintained Weber grills almost every night of our 2 week stay. You can walk to at least 5-6 beaches or take the bus. Great jumping off place to drive north or to the airport and upland or volacano. Villa 4 is on Illlini road but a hedge provides barrier, you have your own parking space and the park gate is locked at 8pm and opened at 7am. We enjoyed the local surfing activity and family gatherings in the Cove . We will definitely be back Thank you Ralph

Real Hawaii!

Great place to get the Aloha spirit: no hiding behind gates at luxury pools etc. loved watching the surfers in the morning and sunsets in the evening, place was spotless, host was super friendly. Great value. Small kitchen w everything you need. Kinda dark inside our unit (#4) but kept it cool. Minor street noise. But What's not to like?

great value and location!

Villa 4 was perfect for me and my adult son. ( I wanted to come back to Maui and he was selected! It was our birthdays.) The villa was just across from Cove Park and we enjoyed watching the paddle boarders and surfers in the cove every morning and most evenings from our lanai/carport. We also enjoyed a couple of the regular locals who came to the park and just sat and played guitars every weekday morning. The villa was clean and well equipped with modern amenities. We especially liked the great snorkeling in the cove. Lots of fish and turtles! We went snorkeling there a number of mornings. The location of Maui Cove Inn was great as we could walk to a number of shops and restaurants in Kihei, and a number of beaches. The sunsets were awesome, even with the clouds that drifted in from West Maui in the evenings. I would recommend this place to all my friends and I plan on coming back next year. Ralph was a great host and gave us tips on where to snorkel, shops and restaurants. This was a great value as the places up the road were much more expensive. Ralph- don't raise the rates!
