Amazing view on the Ocean from your private terrace.
Fully renovated in 2017 with new furnitures and air conditionnning.
We normally recommend it for 6 but 8 is ok
3 bedrooms with 3 queens beds + sofa bed in the leaving first floor, 2 bathrooms, 2 leaving Rooms, 1 Kitchen. Total approx 1200sqft.
1000 sqft private interior courtyard and a 400sqft terrace with 180° Ocean View.
Barbecue, sunbath chairs....
Dish washer, Washing machine +dryer, iron....
The pictures of the ocean are all taken from the terrace.

Just in front of the house you have a Natural swimming pool complex (natural and artificial pools) lifeguard, on the web "Piscinas natuaris Lagoa Acores"
Cost for the swimming pool complex: 10 pass for 12Eur

Also look how it looks on the aerial photo.... the place is amazing and the house is great!
Restaurants, supermarket within 5 minutes walking.

Excellent Location & Property

The home is located across from the natural ocean swimming pools. The views from the deck are amazing. You can walk to restaurants and markets. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would come back again.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic property, a lot of space, inside and out, very comfortable and amazing views from the terrace upstairs. Very well equipped, bbq great too. Plenty of beach towels also provided. Lots of useful information about the island provided. Great restaurants nearby, we especially liked Borda D’Agua.

Womderful location across from the ocean pools. Parking a bit of an issue but we were always able to find one near house. House was spacious; modern, the upstairs patio overlooking the ocean was a favorite for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The kitchen super well stocked-suggest directions thought for the Nescafe coffeemaker. We could not figure it out ! Beds comfortable. Needed the fans for the front bedrooms at night until breezes picked up-we had fantastic weather high 70's and sun. Enjoyed the Sunset Diner on the beach nearby Populo (sp ?) and the fish restaurant below the house at base of the hill. Supermarket not too far away with a car-lots of variety and many wine selections. Seta Cidades was stunning and no fog or rain when we visited by off the road buggy. San Miguel was beautiful and not overun yet with tourists. Clean and well kept island everywhere. The Ginger Lilies and Hydrangea lent a special beauty. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Our family enjoyed our vacation at Ludovic's condo. Everything was as it was described. Location was perfect for us. Communication with Ludovic was 10/10.... we had some trouble locating the unit initially and he was immediately available to assist.While the weather wasn't amazing during our trip, I can imagine how incredible the patio overlooking the ocean would be in warm weather.... it's too bad we couldn't spend more time out there.

Best vacation!!

The house is amazing. 3 spacious bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living rooms. 2 bathrooms and everything as described. The ocean views were outstanding and the owners were excellent with communications and local recommendations. We definitely plan to stay longer next time.

Great house, great host

House has a terrific location, wonderful view of the ocean. House is comfortable & well appointed. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Close to grocery store. Host is very accommodating, offered helpful recommendations, always extremely responsive when asked questions or for assistance.

Great property!

We enjoyed our stay at this property!! It was clean, well appointed, and exactly as advertised. The upstairs had a beautiful view of the water! The only “problem” was parking—it is so, so hard to find a place to park anytime before 8PM and if there was no parking, you had to take a difficult loop though an extremely narrow street. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Great stay

We had a great stay here. The house was in a great location that made exploring the island so convenient. Most everywhere we went was within 15-30 minutes from the house. It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Our little one especially loved having the natural pools right across the street. We would explore the island and then finish the day there most days before heading out to dinner. Ludovic and Sandra were great hosts and responded immediately with any questions we had. We would love to stay here again when returning to Sao Miguel.

April Getaway

This home was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. It is very spacious offering plenty of privacy with a bathroom and television sitting area on each floor. Perfect for our group of five adults. The home is well appointed with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. The views and location are excellent with restaurants, shopping and a small market right up the road. Communication with the owners was effortless and most accommodating. We loved our experience here and would stay again.

The owner was very communicative, answering all of our questions and suggesting places. There is a book with all the information you can possibly need on the island. This is a 2 story flat directly across the 'picinas' in a centralized location with most of the sites within 15 to 20 minutes. If you are a lover of the sun the balcony is wonderful and for some privacy, there is a back courtyard. The house is well equipped. The island is beautiful. There is a snack bar within yards and several bars, restaurants and grocery stores. These islands are the most beautiful place in the world.

Good clean accomodations and good location

Located away from the hustle and bustle of Ponta Delgada, but easy to get to any location on the island. The accommodations were nice, everything worked good, but the only downside was the construction next door that woke us up every morning including the weekend at 8am with loud banging. It was cool to stay in a neighborhood with the locals, and the view on the deck of the ocean was nice but not private during the day with the construction workers right there (but go see the island during the day and it doesnt really matter). Never needed anything from the property manager, who was very nice to deal with prior to arriving. Lots of great places to eat on the island (try the barracuda), and driving was easy once you get used to the one way and narrow streets around this neighborhood.

I really hope within a month it will be over as they are starting the roof. And i agree regarding the Baraccuda... also on of my favorit grilled fish with the peixe porco and the boca negra. Perfect location, amazing view!

We are a 3 generation group who simply could not have loved this more! Directly across the street from the natural pools (amazing!), several restaurants in walking distance, it’s clean and spacious and has lots of outdoor options, a protected back patio and a front upper level patio with amazing views. We were able to easily drive to all of the amazing sights on the island easily from here. Ignore the guide books, you will want to be here longer than all the suggested itineraries suggest! We could have spent a week just at the pools, we did so many amazing things while visiting. One more beautiful and fun than the next but even 9 days felt short on time! We were all discussing a return trip long before this one was over. Truly a great spot. The neighborhood is busy during the days due to the pools (at least in the summer) but quiet and peaceful at night. This was definitely a top favorite destination with our crew. We will most definitely be back!

Relaxing hideaway

Overall a totally awesome place to stay. Location can not be beat. Morning coffees and evening glasses of wine on the patio overlooking the ocean was simply amazing. The house was clean and very well organized. Only two small concerns. The first thing we found out was shortly after our arrival we needed to run out and buy toilet paper and paper towels. Maybe next to no toilet paper (3 rolls for 6 people) is common but really for the cost of the rental would stocking a decent amount of these items be asking too much. Finally, and our biggest concern was lack of hot water. Even trying to stagger showers was not alway successful. Or convenient. Two out of 3 swims in the beautiful ocean tidal pools ended with a cold shower to rinse of the salt water. Disappointing. Please consider investing in an updated hot water system. Your future renters will thank you. Overall our stay with you was nothing short of amazing.

Wonderful location on Sao Miguel and well-equipped.

My husband and I spent a lovely week in this three-bedroom/two-bathroom property in September. It was an easy fifteen-minute drive from the Ponta Delgado airport with (usually) easy access to parking within steps of the property. If parking is not readily accessible next to the property, one can easily park at the lot at the harbor and walk to the property. The property was impeccably clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The washer and dryer are an absolute blessing for people (like us) who like to travel light. We didn't even have to provide laundry detergent. The master suite was comfortable. The view from the upstairs terrace was spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The appliances were all user-friendly. The owner, although not nearby, was responsive to all of our concerns. Unfortunately, during our stay the air-conditioning units were not working properly, but the weather was temperate, so it was not a difficulty. There was construction next door, and the workers, we felt, invaded our privacy, but the construction will finish, and the a/c will be fixed, so these are certainly not a permanent stain on the property. We enjoyed many afternoons on the terrace overlooking the ocean and enjoying the warm sunshine. The outdoor furniture was plentiful and quite comfortable. We liked to return to the property after a day of sight-seeing to open all the windows and the upstairs and back door to allow the ocean breezes to flow through. We tried a couple of restaurants in Lagoa, O Capitao and Borda d'Agua. The octopus salad at Borda d'Agua is good, as is the tuna. O Capitao is fun. Continente is a wonderful supermarket (complete with wine and liquor). We walked there from the property (about 15 minutes). It is also an easy stop on one's way back into town from sight-seeing. Do not miss Furnas. The botanical garden is gorgeous, and the walk around the lake is amazing. Sete Cidades is something not to miss. This was one of our favorite places, and we hope that we can return, not only to Sao Miguel, but to this lovely property in this charming village.

Maison au top ! Séjour parfait

La maison est idéalement située, elle est spacieuse, très bien équipée et en excellent état. Les 2 terrasses sont très agréables. Le propriétaire est disponible, très sympathique et nous a donné de très bons conseils (restaurant, sorties).

Amazing

This place was absolutely amazing. Very clean and the host’s were very friendly and accommodating. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Great for family

Great size for my family with two small children and my father in law who stayed upstairs. Central location for visiting the whole island. Unfortunately the children's pool was closed late September.
