Host was easy to deal with and checking in/checking out was easy. Place was overall fantastic, as advertised. The location is right in the middle of the island and accessible to everywhere for easy day trips. Walkable to a few restaurants right around the corner. We rented a car and explored the entire island. The private garage was a major plus. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Would rent again if we return.

Amazing Ocean View!

What an amazing place right by the ocean! Owners are very easy to communicate with and was very catering to us! Ocean and natural pool right in front of the home. I Would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay by the ocean.

Perfect location and great view

Very central to the entire island and a great location with the municipal pools and view. A spacious home that was perfect for our familyā€™s home base. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating! We would certainly come and stay here again!

Amazing location

The absolute best part of this property is that it is across the street from natural volcanic rocks where there is swimming in the ocean in multiple areas, a large patio area for sunbathing, a salt water pool, (so clean ) for only a few euros. The apt itself was very clean, deck upstairs to sit and view the ocean and cliffs were also a bonus. Bathrooms were meticulous, great shower. After a day of driving around the island checking out all the amazing sites, the apt was comfortable to relax. Internet was slow, however. It was a little tricky to find initially, but we asked some people who were very helpful. We had actually passed it twice but did not realize it. Would definitely return to this place on our next visit. Rene is a great host.

Everything was wonderful! Exactly like the pictures and descriptions. We had a great time during our stay. Owner was great. Only thing and nothing that was on the property or owner, but someone one of the nights broke into our car and took everything even empty shopping bags. Do not leave anything in your car!

Beautiful oceanfront in central location

1st visit to the Azores and we loved every minute. This rental was the perfect central base to explore the whole island of Sao Miguel. Apartment was well stocked with bath and beach towels, spare bedding, good basic kitchen supplies and a washer/dryer. The terrace was a perfect breakfast spot overlooking the ocean. We appreciated the off street parking. Rene was an amazing host. He very graciously arranged an early check in, as we flew from Nova Scotia early the morning before and were exhausted. Great communication with host. Would definitely stay again.

Lagoa Pools

The apartment was quiet and comfortable and the neighborhood was walkable for coffee, groceries snacks and so forth. Probably a car is better for sightseeing from this location. There is plenty of parking. Unfortunately the weather was cold, windy & rainy during our week, so we didn't hike as much as planned. But we found plenty to do with visiting hot springs, tours, the tea plantation and more. It's a nice little getaway spot with beautiful ocean views.

Ocean Terrace Stay - Great Views & Location, But Needs a Few UpdatesWe had a wonderful stay at this property with an absolutely stunning view from the Ocean Terrace. The location is fantastic, with easy walking distance to great restaurants and grocery stores ā€“ super convenient! The place itself has a lot of potential to be a 5-star experience with just a few changes.One of the main things that could improve the overall experience is upgrading the linens. The towels and sheets, which had a linen-like texture, didnā€™t quite meet the standard we expected. For a cleaner, more luxurious feel, Iā€™d suggest white linens and towels ā€“ they give guests that reassurance of pristine cleanliness.However, our concerns were addressed quickly by Rene, who sent over the cleaning lady on the same day we arrived, which was appreciated. Once everything was taken care of, we truly enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing, and the propertyā€™s proximity to local attractions made it a very comfortable and relaxing experience.With some attention to cleanliness and a few updates to the linens, this place could easily be a 5-star stay. Iā€™d recommend it for its great location and the beautiful ocean view!

Lovely Island great owner!

What a great location next to Lagoaā€™s natural pools. The house is perfect for a family of four and a central location to all of Sao Miguelā€™s locations. Rene the owner was a very nice and polite man and very quick in his responses to any questions we had during our 9 day stay here. Would recommend anyone to visit and use his home!

Azores Trip

Apartment was in a great location and area. Host was easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. Could do with an upgrade of the linen, sheets, towels, mats as they were very tired, floors dirty. Overall, great stay, rating only a 4 due the linen and floor, could easily achieve a 5 if upgraded. Would recommend.

Awesome Sao Miguel Stay!!

Our family had a six night stay at Reneā€™s terrace condo! Great location and amenities. Could have been better stocked with supplies as we had to purchase toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, and there were limited linens. Overall great stay and so nice to have a parking spot with all the cars at the aqua centre. RenĆ© was very accommodating and quick to respond!

Ideal spot with amazing view

First time to the Azores. This is an ideal location for people who like to swim..the natural pools are directly across the street. Only 15 minutes or so from the airport. Everything on the island is under an hour drive. Restaurants in walking distance. The patio is a vacation spot in its own right, water gazing right from the patio. Already talking about return trips. Highly recommend.

Great stay

We would love to leave windows open but there are no screens on the windows or doors. Too many mosquitoes and flies would come in every time. Renee is very accommodating and responsive. Location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay, would book again
