Villa Solaria Orvieto

Villa Solaria is an important farmhouse located in a panoramic position with a pristine landscape, in the silence of the Umbrian hills, among vineyards and olive groves that surround it.
When you are at Villa Solaria, there will be three things you will experience, the first is the great quiet, in fact you will have as a companion: absolute privacy, then the sun and the air, from which the villa takes its name.
The Villa was expertly restored in 2003, directly by the owners, who respected the originality of the Casale, using many of the building's salvaged materials. Important note should be given to the bearing walls, still the same of the time in their entirety, totally in river stone, restored on the outside with original materials to give them that authenticity of the past, and brought to face interior of the Villa, from a meticulous restoration, which has highlighted the rarity in the selection and selection of the stones used in that era.

Villa Solaria is located in Umbria just 5 km from the medieval city of Orvieto, and more precisely in the town of Castel Viscardo a village overlooking the Umbrian hills.
Umbria, a historical region, famous for its splendid and well-preserved small medieval villages, offers tranquility and serenity to the spirit.
Guests can visit historical and religious itineraries, since the towns and cities are rich in monuments, cathedrals, museums and can enjoy excellent wines, such as the noble "Est Est Est" of Montefiascone, the end "Orvieto Classico" and the renowned "Cervaro Castello della Sala della Cantina Antinori"; and good traditional dishes, prepared with natural products. You can also quickly reach the most important medieval cities of Umbria, such as Todi, Assisi, Gubbio, and Spoleto.
The strategic geographical position of Villa Solaria, one step away from the most important spa towns, such as San Casciano dei Bagni Terme (km 28), makes any type of tourist itinerary possible. Moreover, in a few minutes by car you can also reach Lazio, Lake Bolsena (20km), while with an hour by train you can visit the great Capital: Rome.
