We stayed at the Yellow House for a total of 9 weeks this year. We entertained guests and the 2 of us spent time alone there. It's a perfect place to rest and to entertain. The house has all you could ever want in a vacation home, plenty of bedrooms, baths, fabulous kitchen, games, and that gorgeous pool. It is a short walk to the village where almost everything is available. We have been welcomed by the community. Manager Cristina is extremely helpful with the house and with suggestions for activities and restaurants. We plan to return.

Lovely quiet location away from tourist areas but still with beautiful places to visit within 1 hour drive. Helps to speak a little Italian but locals very friendly and patient with communication

A Beautiful House

Fabulous Holiday Home

A beautiful and very spacious house with a gorgeous swimming pool set within lovely gardens in a very peaceful location. Great for relaxing and also well positioned for sightseeing.

This place is out of this world! We had an amazing time in this beautiful villa and would happily return in a heartbeat. Big thanks to Emma for answering my many questions quickly and for all the helpful information and advice in the run up to our stay. Cristina was also wonderful and I liked that she was on WhatsApp for any questions (we didn't have many, but it was nice to know there was a direct line to somebody local if we needed it). We were a party of five; two adults, two teenagers and one infant. I was a little apprehensive about how the teenagers would survive a week with no TV, but I needn't have worried; there's plenty to do if you're in for the evening. We loved the Bocce, the pool table and table-football most. And playing with Giorgio the cat too, he's very friendly (he did leave us a mouse one morning though!). We couldn't get enough of the amazing pool! It was cold at first, but once you've taken the plunge you really do get used to it. It was blissful in the heat! We took a load of inflatables with us and have left them, I hope others enjoy them.From the villa we visited Rome by train (from Orte, no changes needed), Bolsena, Civita Di Bagnoregio and Civitella D'Agliano. All lovely places and not too far. Highly recommend Civita Di Bagnoregio in the evening, it's beautiful!! One thing to note: we hired a big car and scraped it along the very narrow track to the villa. Access is a bit nerve-wracking, but 100% worth it! Truly a perfect hide-away :-)

We spent a week at Emma & David’s Yellow House in late July 2026, and it wasn’t nearly long enough. Our family group of seven (parents, three adult children, and two partners) absolutely loved it.The house is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Cristina welcomed us warmly with a generous arrival pack. The pool is huge, with plenty of loungers and both sun and shade all day. The location is stunning—peaceful, private, and overlooking a gorgeous valley. The only “noise” comes from birds, crickets, and a friendly cat we named Giorgio.We enjoyed the smoker BBQ, but the star was the stone pizza oven, which produced fantastic crusts. Indoors, the billiard table, table football, and table tennis kept us entertained daily. The kitchen and dining room are stocked beyond expectation.Even during 39C heat, the house stayed cool thanks to Emma’s clear guidance on shading and airflow. We barely needed the fans.It’s an excellent base for exploring Umbria and Lazio. We visited Orvieto, Lago di Bolsena, and a superb sheep-cheese and rare-breed pork farm. We would return without hesitation—next time for two weeks, because leaving after one was genuinely difficult.

This was our second visit to the Yellow House. It is a lovely house with a fabulous pool and set in stunning Italian countryside. One is surrounded by nature here so it is very peaceful. We saw wild boars in the early mornings and at dusk - playing in the fields below the house.

Peace and tranquility in stunning location in Lazio

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Close to a charming town with all amenities you need. Fantastic restaurants and lovely wine. We thoroughly recommend the people from Quando Posso coming to cook dinner at the Yellow House.

Wonderful rural location

Beautiful villa with wonderful view and nice pool. Excellent for large families or friends who love to cook together. Very calm and relaxing surrounding.

A truly wonderful trip in an idyllic setting!

We stayed at the Yellow House for two weeks in July. The setting was breathtaking and the pool and surrounding area was perfect for our party of 5. The house itself was beautiful, spacious, clean, really well equipped and allowed us the secluded and restful trip we were looking for. We loved every minute and hope to return again at some point soon.

Picture Perfect

Beautiful house in a beautiful rural location. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday this is the place for you. Pool is exquisite. Just watch out for the ants!!

The Yellow House is a lovely place to stay. This was our third time here. We really enjoy staying here. The house is beautiful with lots of space for our whole family. The pool is great and the garden is really nice with lots of seats in the sun and shadow. We'll definately be back sometime in the near future. idyllic location

The Yellow House is in the most wonderful , peaceful holiday location, close to a small town and supermarket, with it’s own amazing pool , pizza oven and bbq , games room and lovely airy bedrooms. All you could wish for and more. Thank you for a wonderful 2 weeks :)

The Yellow House June 2024

All all just love the House, it fits all our needs and ticks all the boxes The area is central to great places to visit, The only thing wrong we only had a week stay, will return again.

The place to be for the 18th birthday party of my daughter

We really enjoyed the large pool and billard table ... weather has been around 24°C and sunny! One week has been too short ... we will come back!

Yellow House 2023

Having stayed at the Yellow House for many years, we found the house to be still well appointed and comfortable, the grounds to be beautiful, and the pool wonderful. The town is quaint and charming filled with lovely and generous people. Looking forward to next time!

Third stay at Yellow House

This property is always inviting, comfortable, and accommodating. Cristina is exceedingly helpful in making the stay restful and relaxing. We love walking to the little village enjoying the people and all that the community has to offer. The house is centrally located for easy transportation to all areas of central Italy. We love it.

The Yellow House

The house is lovely and big. The pool size is an amazing size and the views are fabulous. If you want to go out and about a car is needed. There are so many lovely places to visit around Civitella D’Agliano. The communication we had before and when we were at the villa was very much appreciated. Lovely place to stay

Fantastic villa with large pool

Third visit and never fails to live up to our expectations. Spacious villa with excellent swimming pool. Table tennis, pool table and table football. Local village very quiet but good supermarket and pizza take-away. A great get-away for those looking for relaxation in rural Italy

Great Yellow House holiday

Once again we had a great stay at the Yellow house (this was my 12th visit) It’s got everything, quietness for total relaxation, Central to countless places of interest (we are still finding new places to visit) The people in the village are so friendly. I truly can not find any negatives. If you thinking of booking a perfect holiday well The Yellow House will be my first chose.
