The highway noise was pretty loud, especially early morning traffic, but we were honestly warned about that and overall we enjoyed staying in this historic part of Newberg. Many places to visit were within walking distance!

The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need. We enjoyed the special deals offered on winery tastings. The noise from the traffic on the street at night was noticible even with ear plugs. It was hard on Friday to find close parking and the steps going up to the apartment are very steep for taking luggage up.

The home is located in a central and convenient area, which can mean more activity, especially in the evenings. We've noted this in our listing and provided earplugs in the unit to help minimize noise, ensuring a more restful night's sleep. Parking and access may be a bit tighter in this part of town, especially on busy weekends, but many guests find the walkable location to shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms to be a worthwhile trade-off. We’re happy to offer options on the quieter side of town. Again, We appreciate you staying with us and hope to have the chance to host you again.

This was the perfect spot for our visit. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to work remotely.

Great place!

Amazing communication with property manager. Very clean, very comfortable! Great location but street noise was a little loud. I would definitely stay again.

This was such a wonderful place and so many friendly text for arriving along with a little gift to make our stay pleasant. It was such a comfortable, clean place plus a great location for walking to shops and restaurants in Newberg. I do wish the rental agreement was simplified. I have never signed a rental agreement quite so lengthy and detailed for a vrbo before so I was a bit nervous haha. But everything was wonderful and I look forward to staying again

Great place to stay in Oregon's Wine Country

Beautiful, clean and large. Managers put in the effort to make sure stay was comfortable and the little added touches were appreciated.

Downtown hideaway

Second time staying at this property. The property is in immaculate condition. We were here helping our son move into GF. The location is perfect and within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again for future trips.

Comfortable, well appointe, and perfect location for my wife and self. We will return to YamHill #1!

Steep stairs and not the best lighting but otherwise a 5 Star. Within wallking distance to great coffee houses. Kitchen as well equipped as our own. Stiitng room is so comfortable.

The condo was tastefully decorated, spacious, very clean.

The 4 of us enjoyed our stay after a fun evening at Domaine Serene. The condo was very comfortable and the AC worked great with the temps in the 90s. Everything was spotless and well appointed. The only negative would be the steep stairs to get up to the unit.

GF Parent Weekend

This property was fantastic. We were in Newberg for parent weekend at GF and the location was perfect. A very short drive to the campus though we easily could have walked there. The interior of this property was impeccable. The size was perfect for the two of us with a small kitchen, dining room, and living room to relax in. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great little apartment!

Cute little apartment in downtown Newberg and very close to GFU campus (purpose of my trip). Quiet—if I had neighbors I never heard them. Not for the elderly or handicapped, though. Steep stairs to get to the second floor where the apartments are.

Wonderful Flat!!

Well stocked, great quality items and very comfortable. There were lots of instructions about where to find things and how they work. Awesome literature on happenings around . Very private and accessible. A little much on the traffic noise but ear plugs were provided and did the trick.

Charming Reno

This is my second visit to this charming location. Interior of units have been tastefully renovated and the host has an eye for experiential detail…from the welcome gift to coffee and teas as well as bath products. Be forewarned that the steps to unit are steep and the close proximity to 99w makes it a little noisy BUT these potential negatives do not bother me…extra steps are good and the sound machine/ear plugs solve the noise issue.

Nice location but very loud

The location is central for the city, but there are restaurants and bars along the busy street below. Traffic noise and people coming out of these venues are quite loud. Kept us awake throughout the late night/morning. Do not recommend if you are looking for a tranquil wine country getaway. All other aspects of this location are great.

Hello Ryan, Thank you so much again for your visit to Oregon's wine country. We appreciate your review of the property, both the positives and negatives. Being located right in the heart of the downtown scene these locations can be a little noisier than finding a tranquil location in the countryside. They are so much fun though if you are looking to be able to walk to tasting rooms, restaurant, wine bars and shops! Also great for walking to all the local nearby events in the parks and Cultural Center. We do try to notify guests of the noise in our listing description as well as have equipped the suites with noise dampening curtains, alarm clocks for background noise and even ear buds for those who are a little more sensitive to the noise. For your next trip, I would love to suggest our Southfield Cottage, located in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Just a few minutes drive to town, but I'm sure you would find this location to meet all your requests for a quite, romantic getaway. Nice place

The suite is pleasantly large. It would make a good place for a longer stay. The stairs up to the second floor would be a challenge for some. 30 day cancellation requirement! A bit harsh. Also there is a crazy long contract!

Nice clean spacious apartment. Traffic noise was an issue, and we were not prepared for the 20 fairly steep stairs at the building entrance.

Relax and rest

Couldn’t be more thrilled with our stay. We had a stressful travel day and arrived late in the evening. But then we walked in and everything was clean and bright and welcoming. There was a bottle of wine for unwinding and coffee for the morning. We would totally come back here. I especially appreciate the special touches like smell good bar soap, ear plugs for us light sleepers and a white noise machine.

Super Nice Property Managers

Our flight was severely delayed so we ended up not making it to the property for the stay. However, in the days leading up to the event, the property management folks reached out and offered to help us with any needs we had. They were so nice and helpful, I was really bummed we weren't able to make it.
