The diamond in Diamond Lake!

Thanks for your interest! This is a great property for a family reunion or group of friends to enjoy a week at the lake together!

The property has a very large lot with privacy. There are great views of the lake from almost every room. There are 2 bedrooms with king beds and 2 bedrooms with queen beds. One bedroom with a twin bed. The loft has 3 twin beds and a queen bed and a the bunk house has 2 sets of bunk beds.

Please note that during the winter months the bunk house is not available so it sleeps 14 during the winter months.

The dock and boat lift will be put in about May 8, 2020 and will be removed around October 15, 2020.

You won't have to bother hauling Kayaks, paddle boards corn hole game boards, or a floating swim mat they are included for a small charge. There is also an air hockey table in the basement. In addition, during the winter months you will not have to pay the equipment fee. I will adjust the quote and remove this fee during the non-swimming months.

Rentals are generally for a 2 night minimum. The check-in is at 4 pm and check out is by 10 am. There is flexibility during the the non-summer months.

We have the best time at this home. We stay with 16 people. The lake is fun to fish, boat or jet ski. The home has everything you need. Jon is great to work with. We will make it a family tradition!

Family Fun

We enjoyed the house at Diamond Lake. The house worked great for our family of 17 with enough room to spread out and come together for games and meals. Not a big deal but wish the kitchen wouldā€™ve been a little bigger but it really had everything we needed to prepare food so it worked fine. Jon was very responsive anytime I contacted him with questions so appreciated how easy he made it to call or text him about anything. We had a lot of family fun and would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Great Rental for a Family Vacation

This rental was the perfect location for a large family lake vacation. There was more than enough room for my family of 18! Plenty of dining, sleeping and hang out spaces. We especially liked the patio over the boat house and the views of the lake from the house. Fishing was great off the dock for my younger grandchildren and the water was so clear they could see the fish coming for the bait! We enjoyed swimming with the lily pad and using the kayaks and paddleboards that were provided. House was extremely clean and well stocked and Jon was very responsive to our questions. The location was perfect, 5 minutes from the County Park beach, 10 minutes from Spicer and the Big Kahuna Fun Park, and 15 minutes from Wilmar's restaurants and shopping. We will be returning next year!

The property is very large with room for lots of people without feeling crowded! Check in was very easy!! The outdoor patio area overlooking the lake is beautiful and we spent a lot of time there playing games. The host (Jon) was very kind and responded quickly to questions. One of my favorite things was the laundry room with four washers and dryers! That was amazing. We had some trouble with the basement being must/moldy smelling. A few people got sick from this and two had to leave two days early. The rest left one day early. That was disappointing. Jon was very kind and apologetic about this. Also to note - the basement ā€œbedroomsā€ arenā€™t really bedrooms as there are no doors or privacy and it was hot down there from the dehumidifiers running. The lake is nice, but very weedy near the dock/shore, so swimming right off the dock isnā€™t a real good option. It is nice as you move toward the middle of the lake. The boat lift was great to have!

Diamond Lake

This house worked well for gathering, meals, playing games, etc. The one problem was the basement bedrooms. The family members who stayed down there found it musty and ended the week early in one case (they had a baby who was getting sick) or with bad congestion. For the rest of us it worked out well, as advertised but it wasnā€™t great for the family staying downstairs.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The property and home are beautiful and very well kept. The home was stocked with all the things we needed for cooking, grilling, and enjoying smore's at the fire pit. There were enough beds for everyone in our large group. Great Family Getaway - Property Exceeded Expectations.

The property was immaculately cleaned - the first thing you notice stepping inside is the massive picture window and the views of the lake beyond stretching as far as you can see - a beautiful setting. The living room comfortably seats over 10 people, and just off that is the great room that comfortably seats 15+... most in movie theater style powered layback recliners - you can't beat the space for family to comfortably all gather together. We made good use of the kayaks and paddleboards in the attached boathouse - where you are able to get right in the water off the dock in front of the property. This boathouse also has a fire pit on the cement roof - which helped to keep the bugs away. Tons and tons of outdoor seating options in front and back, again just a great location all around for a large family gathering. The kitchen was not huge, but there were update oven/stove/microwave appliances - 3 fridges(2 with freezer) - plenty of room for all the food/drinks/ice you would want for your stay. The two king bedrooms were especially comfortable... the other queen bed on the main floor as well... the basement queen and single bedrooms surved their purpose... the one surprise here was there was less privacy as there was not a closing door to these rooms so it was a bit open/dark in the basement. The bunkhouse just outside was comfortable and is exactly as pictured... as was the loft area bedding above the main living room. All in all it provided separate sleeping areas for 7 couples, with room for bonus kids in the loft/bunkhouse... some areas more private than others - but all comfortable and we'd happily stay again. The owner was great with communication, we had a call before our stay to answer any questions - and he checked in throughout stay via text and was available to call should we need anything - we had no problems and never needed to reach out. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were very comfortable with quality pillows sheets, towels provided for showers - bring your own toiletries etc. All in all exceeded our expectations and would recommend to anyone.

Perfect lake property for large families

Three generation family fun week

It is a very nice property and the owner was very helpful and very responsive. The best equipped kitchen we have seen in a rental! We like to make meals in and there was everything we needed. Everything was well maintained and the beds were all comfortable. Very well equipped for a large extended family with the 3 1/2 baths and plenty of room to do activities inside also. There were all the little things that made it a great place to play and stay. The only thing we would possible change was to have a sand beach but that is not how this lake is made and the lake is down this year with the drought in the area. The lily pad, kayaks and paddle boats allowed us to have lots of fun out into the lake a little way.

The property was everything that was expected. The home had everything we needed. The large great room was a nice place to unwind from the day. The yard was nice and green. The lake was low due to the season, but the boat lift still worked for us. Communication was spot on. Thanks agian for use of your home. We all had a good time.

Wonderful property for gathering.

Loved the peaceful wonderful setting with plenty of outdoor spaced. Celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary with 5 couples and our kids joined us later. Everything you could want was supplied by the hostā€¦.plenty of dishes, silver, towels, tables, and space. Great memories were created!

This has been the family lake home since 1982. After my parents passed away in 2017, I have remodeled it and will be renting out for other families to enjoy as much as we have over the years. One of my brothers has a cabin on the lake as well.

This is a great property that your family and friends will enjoy! I have tried to make it easy for you to come and enjoy your vacation! When I was doing the remodel I was anticipating the renters needs in the design. I have 3 refrigerators to help meet the needs of a large group. We keep the place stocked with many of your needs including but not limited to extra plastic silverware, paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, napkins, etc. There are bath and hand towels along with wash cloths. However, there are no beach towels provided - please bring these along (the bath towels are white and are not for outside use). All of the bedding is provided and there are some extra blankets throughout the place.
