A beautiful, one bedroom casita with a view of the best surfing beach on the Sea of Cortez. We are a just few minutes from the beach. Decorated in traditional Mexican decor with all the amenities you will need. Just bring your suitcase and we will supply everything else. Enjoy amazing sunsets from your patio and star filled nights while listening to the waves gently help
you sleep. We are 10 minutes from beautiful downtown San
Jose where you can enjoy shopping and visiting all the galleries in the art district. Some of the finest Mexican restaurants are right here. You will be greeted with homemade guacamole, salsa, chips and a bottle of wine. And, if you are brave enough there is usually a bottle of tequila. We look forward to you having a wonderful vacation with us. Bienvenidos.

A relaxing week in Cabo

Mark is a wonderful host. Readily available with pointers for beaches and restaurants. He goes above and beyond with providing substantial beach equipment, sunscreens and other toiletries; and upon arrival you'll be greeted with the best guacamole ever!

Wonderful property

Had a shortened but great stay in this home. Reliable communication from the host. I was amazed at the emenities available here, everything from toothbrushes to first aid kits. Thanks for being accommodating due to my early departure.

Great place! Amazing host! Picked us up when Uber driver couldn't find the place. Even took us grocery shopping. Beer, chips, guac, and salsa waiting for us when we got there!

Amazing place!

We went to Los Cabos for the first time and stayed with Mark and Dora and the sweet dogs! It was a great experience from start to finish!! Mark had fresh guac and beers ready when we got there! Nice Casita with everything you need for your stay! Mark was very helpful with ideas and local knowledge! We would definitely stay again!

This was our first time to San Jose de Cabo. Hosts Mark and Dora were very gracious and helpful. We took Ubers to a variety of areas and restaurants around us, which wasnt too expensive.

2nd time with Dora and Mark

Well. Again. Best VRBO ever. Guac and beer when we arrived per usual. If you didn’t want to see Mark and Dora the whole time that’s a thing( don’t know why you’d want that), or say hi for a minute every day. Mark doesn’t care he’s just there to make sure you have the best time at Costa Azul. The place is close to everything you need. For real don’t stay elsewhere.

A special gem in San Jose Del Cabo. ✨️

My husbnd and I were visiting cabo for our anniversary for a surf trip. We stumbled upon Mark and Dora's place , mostly because of their wonderful reviews , and we are here to add yet another to their list of 5 stars. This place is special. We were welcomed and immediately felt at home , like part of the family . Mark was full of recommendations for all the things we wanted to do, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. We were even greeted with a couple modelos and the most delicious homemade Guac I've ever eaten. The Casita has everything you could need and more, including 4 sweet sweet doggos that will love you from the start. I could go on and on , but in summary, this is a special gem in San Jose. Thank you Mark, Dora, Otis, Oscar, Pepper, and sweet Oliver for making our week so wonderful and filled with joy.

Exceeded expectations

This is an extremely well equipped casita, the Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas were a welcome extra, as were the boogie boards and snorkel gear. Mark and Dora are excellent hosts, very knowledgeable about the area, generous with their time and trips into town. The cold beer, salsa and guacamole in the fridge, when we arrived was so appreciated and delicious.The casita is a quick 10-15 minute walk to beautiful beaches, with beautiful hiking in the area. The view from the patio is great, yes there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t interfere with our sleep. The Brown Brigade, Lil Otis, Senor Oliver, Oscar and Pepper are lovely dogs, and missed! Would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.

Great place to stay near the beach!

Nothing but good things to say about my stay here. Easy trip to/from the airport. Great location with nice views and a short walk to the beach. Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Plus everything you need to enjoy the beach ready to use at the house. 10/10 would recommend to any single or couple looking for a great spot at a reasonable price. Must like dogs!

Very accommodating host. Excellent property with many extras. Potentially a negative if you’re not a ‘dog person’ (I am). As other reviews have indicated, there is traffic noise. A little tricky to find, but the host goes ‘over and above’ in addressing this. Not an issue.

Value for your money

We spent 11 days here in January 2023. Rental is in a safe neighborhood on a hill above Costa Azul beach. It’s a 9 minute walk down to the beach. There are a couple of good restaurants at the beach. You can surf or go for long walks on the sand or by the rock formations. The rental is very well equipped …. Snorkels, boards, umbrellas, & beach chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an extensive selection of toiletries. The biggest plus is the hosts. They were great …very friendly and helpful. The rental is right above the highway so there is traffic noise. However because of the many pluses I’ve outlined above I am giving this rental a rating of 5. We used Uber to get around. It was easy and cheap. We went into San Jose del Cabo a few times to listen to a band at “Drinking Time”, did the art walk a couple of times and dined at a couple of restaurants, (Frida’s and El Toto Guero we’re very good. We also did a day trip to Todas Santos, Also enjoyed time at Santa Maria and Chileno Beaches. This rental is a great place to use as a hub to explore the many things to do in this area.

Served our 3-night stay very well.

Secluded and comfortable apartment with a view of the ocean. Our lodging was very well equipped for any beach activity, including snorkel gear, chairs, umbrella, and coolers. If you have questions, Mark is a wealth of local info. His facility served our needs well. Our rental car did come in handy. We appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of our host, including his beautiful hounds.

Best place in Baja

Step 1. Boom this listing. Step 2 Rent a car. Step 3 Don’t buy or book anything else until you talk to Mark and Dora. Seriously we VRBO a lot. This is the best place we have ever stayed in. Such gracious knowledgeable hosts. Cute dogs that make it feel like home. Close to everything amazing views. I read a 4star review about the traffic noise. You should know that just about every room in every hotel on the corridor has traffic noise, even if you paid 1000 bucks a night you’ll hear the carratera. Mark and Dora and the pups will have guacamole and chips and some beers waiting. They have snorkel gear, boogie boards, full beach kits. Seriously don’t blow it and stay somewhere else. Have about the best time one could have anywhere. You’ll book again. We are already planning our next trip back with them. Thanks again. We sure will miss he pups and the view and you guys of course too. Also.
