Fantastic location in Barton-on-Sea!
Please read our many wonderful Airbnb and VRBO / HomeAway reviews below, which say more about the apartment than we can. We are Airbnb Superhosts with 5 Star overall rating, and now awarded VRBO Premier Host.

Bayside is a ground floor. easy access, garden apartment with a sea view from the Garden, and on the edge of The New Forest. It’s been renovated to a high ‘Luxury Hotel Suite’ standard.
It's in the heart of Barton-on-Sea, just across the road from the path to the beach, the ‘Beachcomber Café’ and ‘Pebble Beach’ restaurant. The popular Cliff House bar, restaurant, hotel, with occasional live music etc., is about a 10 minute walk away,
New Milton shops, restaurants etc., and railway station is only about 1 mile away.

Bayside is a light, bright modern apartment with quality fittings.
Fibre high speed (60 + mbps) wi-fi internet, with 2 x 32" LED Smart TV's with built-in DVD players, in both living room and bedroom.
The kitchen area has a double ceramic hob, oven, sink, combi-microwave oven air fryer and good size fridge freezer. Nespresso Coffee machine.
A luxury bedroom with double bed, bedside chests of drawers and wardrobe. Also further storage in 4 drawers in the base of the bed.
There’s a Washer / Dryer in a cupboard with more storage space above for hanging clothes, storing baggage etc., a hotel style digital safe. Also an iron and ironing board, clothes horse, mop, vacuum cleaner and hair dryer.

Luxury shower room. With ‘rain effect’ over head shower plus hand held shower.

The living room has a large sofa which makes a good extra single bed.

Clean and good location

The property was clean, good sized bedroom and bathroom. Good communication from the owner. Great location - just across the road from the sea and from a great coffee shop (Bijou).

3 day break for both of us.

This property was superb.The host's made sure there was everything in the property that was needed.Lovely area, beach views. Nice drink/coffee in restaurant garden overlooking the beach. Would certainly stay there again.

Fabulous

The apartment was amazing. The attention to detail was fantastic, there wasn’t anything you could possible need, it was like a home from home. Ideal location to explore neighbouring areas. Thank you Martin & Tim, hopefully we will be back someday.

Dear Dawn, we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay with us so much, and thank you for your kind words- we do our best. We’re happy that your comments are similar to most of our guests. A few weeks ago, we had a guest say we ‘lacked refinements’, which caused us some concern. What refinements did we lack we wondered? We have Nespresso machine, mainly 300-400 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, nobody has ever said we lack anything before. I had to ask. The lack of refinement was…. we didn’t have a wooden spatula for stir frying! We have a couple of silicone and stainless steel spatula and spoon. Tuk is Thai and lives on stir fry’s, she’s happy with a plastic spatula! We now have a set of bamboo spatulas also! Thanks again Dawn for choosing to stay with us, you are very welcome anytime!

A fantastic getaway in a quiet location on the coast

I loved every minute of my three night stay. The apartment has everything you need with excellent quality throughout. I can’t fault it in anyway. The location is fantastic, literally across the road from the coastline and the beach. Martin was super host, very friendly and approachable and gave me some excellent local information. I would highly recommend this lovely apartment and will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Barton on Sea Ground Floor Flat

Lovely place to stay for a few days. The entrance door leads you directly into the living space/kitchen area. Follow round to RHS takes you into the beautiful bedroom and further along to the stunning bathroom area. Its all very compact but well thought out! Plenty of amenities for 2 x persons, only issue is lack of a draining board for washing up, but there is a plate rack above sink with a drip tray! Location is great, a couple of restaurants/cafes literally across the road. Host was excellent, especially when the kettle stopped working, reported upon arrival, remedied the following morning, thank you! Can I make a suggestion of a larger mat by front door for wet shoes/boots or a storage box under where TV is located for footwear after you arrive back? Thank you again for a very pleasant place to stay and excellent facilities.

Could not give a higher recommendation

The flat is well equipped with many thoughtful touches that make it a home away from home and not just a holiday let. Spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Warm and cozy. Martin is extremely responsive and helpful. I could not give a higher recommendation. P.S. Loved the Nespresso machine!

Dear Jasmine, We were very glad that in your personal feedback you told us how much you enjoyed your stay. As you knew before you came, we do not have a sofa bed, and do not claim to have one! We have a very comfortable large, real, soft leather sofa, which when you remove the cushions, makes a bed 2’ x 6’. We supply a heavy under blanket, plus duvet and pillow. When I asked if you found it comfortable (as other guests had remarked ) you said it was very comfortable and “you hadn’t slept so well for years”! In our listening, we ask potential guests to check if the sofa is big enough for them. We’ve had several adults and more children use it, and as you said, they’ve only reported that they find it comfortable. We do hope that you can return sometime as in person you, and your friend, both very clearly gave the impression you would like to stay again. (As all our other guests have always said in our 60+ reviews.) Once again, thank you very much for staying at our place. All best wishes, Martin and Tuk

Great one bedroom apartment in a great location

Martin was a brilliant host, he responded quickly to any questions I had, very helpful letting me know about the area with information and tips on where to go locally and gave me detailed instructions on the property location and how to get the key on arrival. The apartment was very clean, new and had everything you needed. The location is perfect being across the road from the beach, is in a good spot for some pretty cliff walks and it’s not far to drive to Bournemouth, Sandbanks, Lymington or to nip over to the Isle of Wight. I would definitely re-book to go back again.

Fantastic

5 nights away in this small but spotless property steps away from the seafront, perfect location for exploring the New Forest and the seaside towns of Milton Boscombe Bournemouth etc. Perfect apartment for a couple lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, Smart TV in lounge/kitchen and bedroom not the most comfortable of sofas but we've sat on worse. Would we stay again? Most definitely.

Great apartment - very close to beach and places to eat.

We had a lovely few days in the apartment, it was well equipped, clean and tastefully furnished. Communication with Martin was very friendly and professional. It was ideally positioned just over the road from the beach and shops/restaurants. The only downside to the property was the sofa which is not very comfortable. Thank you again Martin.

We now have a lovely big new soft leather sofa! We don't now have the sofa bed, but this sofa is 6 feet long x 2 feet wide and actually more usable sleeping are than the sofa bed had. We are very sorry you were uncomfortable Emma. A previous guest had used the sofa bed, and their child must have jumped up and down on it to cause such damage. Being booked out until October and only a brief time window on changeover days, plus an 8-12 week delivery time for a new sofa bed, we had a major problem! However, we finally managed to get the swap done, and the flat is much the better for it!.

Lovely Stay

Superb location - couldn't get nearer the sea. Shops/restaurants opposite and a view to the Isle of Wight from the doorstep. Modern inside with all the facilities you need. Best shower room to date - the showers are usually rubbish but this one was a pleasure and plenty of hot water. Would recommend - five stars.

There are so many beautiful places of interest within easy reach for a day out, and so much to do. We love the beach, cliff walks and being at the edge of the forest. Lymington and Christchurch are only minutes away, interesting villages like, Milford-on-Sea, Keyhaven and Highcliffe even closer. Within 45 mins or so are Southampton to the east and Bournemouth to the west. We also enjoy a great day out on The Isle of Wight, so easy wth the Lymington Ferry.
