This beautiful 5 bedroom three story home is located in the Tang-O-Mar community and is very well appointed and features a private pool that you are sure to enjoy and only a 2 minute and 30 second walk to the beach with no roads to cross!

The first floor features three bedrooms, two of which have queen beds and the third has two sets of bunk beds with twin trundles beneath them (6 total twins in this room). One queen suite has a full bath attached. There is a full hall bath to service the other two bedrooms.

The second floor of the home has a large open living space and has a large sofa that turns into a queen sized sofa sleeper and 2 chairs. The seating faces the large wall mounted flat screen TV for viewing pleasure. The kitchen is also located on the second floor and has an adjoining dining room.

The third floor hosts two large king suites both with full bathrooms attached! The Master suite on this level has its own private den as well as a gulf view balcony. (2 total bedrooms on this floor)

The outstanding location in the established Tang-O-Mar residential community provides you with a private beach. This Miramar Beach locale places you close to popular gulf front restaurants, friendly beach bars, grocery stores and wine outlets. Ocean Reef Resorts guests receive reduced rates for tennis and championship golf nearby at Seascape. You may go bargain shopping at Silver Sands, which is the nation’s largest discount designer outlet and is also close by. Abundant amusements, restaurants, lively bars, seasonal festivals, free outdoor concerts and specialty shops are minutes away at Sandestin’s Baytowne Wharf as well as Grand Boulevard.

First Floor: Queen Bedroom with Walk-In Shower, Queen Bedroom, Bunk Room with Two Twin Bunks + Two Twin Trundles, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo.

Second Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa, Kitchen, Dining, Powder Room, Laundry.

Third Floor: King Master Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub + Balcony Access, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the beach. It was close enough to the beach to walk. Beach wasn’t crowded. The house had plenty of room and the pool was a little small but we still enjoyed it. From our happy family.

Great find just off the beach

This was the perfect spacious property! It was extremely clean with all the basic essentials provided. Other reviews talked about the pool needing work other than a few esthetics of needing paint it was clean and very enjoyable. It has a spacious deck with plenty of lounge chairs and shaded area for relaxing. The access to the beach was an easy short walk. The 10 of us that stayed there had the best time.

Property is really great, but there are several things that are in need of repair. Blinds, ice dispenser, door locks, handle on dishwasher, loose stair banister, sliding door for upstairs bathroom tub. The pool is located in the sun, a least at the end of July it is, so it stayed pretty warm. The cooktop is induction, so that can take a bit of getting used to. I realize it's the end of the busy season, but more is expected at this price point as far as items needing repair. On the positive side, the beds are comfortable, the Internet and TVs work great and the 2nd floor space is a very good for family hang outs.

Just a few updates needed, kitchen sink, doors were a little hard to open, pool wasn’t cleanest when arrived and was very small but overall very nice place

Tile could use some updating. Did not like location of property, traffic was terrible. We had to drive everywhere. Overall house worked for what we needed and mgmt responded quuckly. Short walk to beach and ocean view was great!

House needs fixing and updates plus pole needs replaced

Overall, the family room in the kitchen were great for family gatherings kitchen is missing. A lot of things could use updating cabinets. Look bad. A lot of things broke in need of repair. It looks like the place has not been kept or painted or updated for years. The pool needs to be replaced. But as a family, we enjoy it all being together. I just think the owners of the place need to put a little money into fixing things and updating to make it much more of a pleasant stay for families. Decent

The property is in need of some updates and deep cleaning. Doors were dirty, pool is very worn (and the steps were awkward), dishwasher needs to clean better (ran several times per load), the garbage disposal backed up and the repair guy said that carrot peels were not to be put in it and used our only dish sponge to clean up after he left and told us dishes shouldn't sit in the sink because it would stain the sink. The sink needs to be replaced, it was very stained already. Overall the house worked well for our vacation, it should be noted the pictures listed are older and lots of construction going on during the week on surrounding houses that are not in the pictures. For the cost, we felt the place could have been a bit nicer.

Vitamin Sea beach house

Overall we had a great week making wonderful memories with family and friends at the private beach but this house needs better cleaning, has maintenance/ appliance issues, and needs updated furniture and beddings. All beds besides master suite were very uncomfortable and the comforters were either stained or soiled. Those should be changed every visit with the sheets especially during Covid times. The refrigerator took 2 full days to cool off to where we could buy groceries and the pool was green and filthy and ladder steps broke when we arrived. Finally after an online request and a maintenance call we got a refrigerator check and pool service to put chemicals in. Outside furniture and patios should be hosed off and wiped- there were food and bugs on patio/ tables. Great private beach, cute decor and a huge kitchen- great entertaining layout. With just more attention to cleaning detail and a few furniture updates- this house is a great vacation destination!

Unclean and Outdated

Upon arrival the home was clearly dirty. Rug in living room desperately needs replaced. All vents were clogged with copious amount of dust. First two days fridge didn’t keep cold. Internet issues on and off. Dirty floors, cups, kitchen table an bar chairs were so filthy we had maintenance come out to clean them. Mold growing in outdoor patio chairs also had to have cleaned. Small electric shock in pool. The pool needs replaced entirely. Most things in this home needs replaced possibly such as fridge, pool, rugs, decorative pillows. Filthy. With good upkeep I would’ve booked another stay just for the location. Great distance to private beach. Home needs a deep clean and few new furnishings. The pool giving the electric shock to the children was concerning, contacted property and we did have a pool company check the voltage in the water which was low enough we were cleared to swim after staying away for 2 days because we felt unsafe. Not sure where the electricity is coming from but this was a concern to us at the time. Overall I think we had 3-4 maintenance workers visit the home during our stay which was aggravating but the issues needed addressed. Wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend this property. Deeply regret choosing this home, the pictures were, in my opinion deceiving.

A bit disappointing

On a scale of 1-10, we all agreed 6 is the best we could give this property. The primary areas of concern were cleanliness and maintenance. On the surface the property looked clean but here are a few examples of what we saw: black mold in master (king) shower; tile floor in kitchen/great room area not very clean; in, around and under the area rugs in the dining room and great room, as well as the rugs themselves, dirty; ceiling fans very dirty (the one in the great room had been turning in the wrong direction-when we reversed it, globs of dust were distributed all over the couches, coffee tables and area rug). Seems like taking care of the property is not a high priority. Examples we saw: most of the wands on the blinds were either absent or did not work; stair rail at front entrance loose and potentially unsafe; some remotes without batteries; kitchen faucet loose/wobbly; dining room chair with broken leg; all 4 bar stools should either be repaired or replaced - wobbly and hard to sit on; the little "spool" for the toilet paper holder in the king bedroom missing; pool was just on the edge of green by Tuesday - even the pool maintenance guy said it wasn't cleaned often enough. Glad he came before we had to call. Even though the "beach" stuff wasn't provided, seems most of it should be discarded; broken, rusty, moldy etc. Most of our rental experiences have been in North and South Carolina. The properties we have rented there were in much better condition. As a suggestion, a list of what is provided with the property would have been nice before we had to ask. Lastly, the entrance road into the property is deplorable. These may seem like inconsequential things but it's a lot of money to spend for basically 5 days. We feel we did not get a good value for the money we spent. All these "little" things just put a stain on the whole week.

Gary, We appreciate your feedback. We are very sorry that you ran into these problems during your stay. The property has been check and there was no " Black Mold" found only some mildew that comes with the humidity and heat of our summers. That has been taken care of and cleaned. We have also noted the other items and will have them taken care of as well. As for the road, unfortunately that is out of our hands and is ran by Walton County. If you would like to please call them and voice your opinion on the condition of the road. As always thank you for choosing ocean reef and we hope to see you at the beach again soon!
