This apartment is ideally located 50m metres from the Torrox Beach and is within walking distance to local cafes, bars and supermarkets. Laguna Beach offers both indoor and out door pools, including an Olympic size swimming pool in summer time season and heated indoor for the winter season as well as a number of tennis courts. There is also a gym within walking distance and free parking is available nearby. Laguna Beach also offers Pickle Ball courts which can be booked. Buses to Torrox, Nerja and Málaga stop just 500 metres away.

The apartment itself includes a high quality equipped kitchen as well as sea views from either side of the apartment. The apartment is a duplex, with rooms spread over two floors. The top floor includes a terrace, with a seating area with a view of the sea and surrounding gardens. This apartment has three good sized bedrooms including two doubles and two single beds, each with built in wardrobes and storage areas. Everyroom includes Aircon the property also includeds free WiFi

The indoor pool was great. We enjoyed our daily swim. The access to the beach was wonderful and walks to local cafes and restaurants so nice. Phil was a great host and made our stay so comfortable

Fantastic!

Perfectly located near the beach and a 5-10 minute short walk to the supermarket. Swimming pool was huge, clean and the children loved it. The apartment is clean and roomy, it had everything we needed to make our stay very home from home. We all enjoyed our stay at Laguna beach and would love to go back again.

Winter break – excellent property and location

Phil gave us very clear instructions on how to find and access the property. It was easy to park nearby. The apartment is very clean and well equipped - the photos don’t do it justice! There are three good sized bedrooms with built in wardrobes and comfortable beds. Very close to close to the beach, promenade, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants (even in early January). It was lovely sitting on the balcony in the afternoon sun listening to the waves crashing on the beach nearby. We also enjoyed being able to the tennis rackets in the apartments for the tennis courts in the complex. Thanks again Phil – we would definitely recommend this property and hope to return.

Wonderful !

The location of the apartment is excellent. The complex itself is very quiet - even in August when the towns and beaches are rammed with people. However, even only 90 metres from the beach and some very good chiringuitos serving excellent fresh food with plenty of variety, we were in a beautifully landscaped, quiet area with an abundance of flowering shrubs, water features and, of course, great pools, especially the bit one which, although busy, was never too full. The people there are mainly Spanish, which is a joy. There is a very good bar/restaurant by the pool too. The facilities within the apartment were excellent, with everything we could ever need, including games etc., for the children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Winter break

The property was clean, well equipped with towels and bedding, close to the beach and shops. In the winter the sun does not reach the property until mid afternoon so was cool in the mornings and evenings, however there is air conditioning and heating in all rooms which is very useful. There is onsite an indoor heated pool which was fine, also tennis courts and boules pitches and there is sports equipment in the apartment to use. . We found Torrox Costa a good location to work from without the needs of a car. There is good public transport to, Nerja, Malaga, Torre del Mar, and Torrox Pueblo . Very easy access to the beach. , with restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.

Such a good find - Brilliant location. Brilliant amenities & excellent communication with owner.

I am so pleased we came across this property on HomeAway. It was slightly tricky to find but the locals were really helpful. Lots of parking available and love that we were so close to the beach. Never struggled finding a space in the mornings and spent the afternoons in the Olympic size pool. Our girls were in their element. Lots of places to eat and a close journey to Nerja. Communication with Phil (the owner) was excellent. We never had to wait long for a response. It is quite noisey of a weekend (music) if you’re staying in the main room but not a massive negative. We turned up to find cupboards full from previous people who have stayed which was amazing! We will definitely be staying again. Thanks again Phil.

Idyllic

We loved our stay previously so much we returned this year. The apartment is very well maintained and a real home from home. The master bedroom balcony has sea views and my afternoon siestas were often taken with the sound of the sea in the background and the gentle breeze wafting through the Apartment. Having a washing machine meant my holiday washing was all done before I came home. I was unpacked and sorted within an hour of returning. The grounds are extremely well cared for and secure. Loads of bars and eateries surround the area too, all within easy walking distance. This is far and away the best place I’ve ever holidayed and I could not recommend it enough. Phil and Rosemary, the owners, are lovely to deal with too and communication is excellent.

Well equipped apartment in a perfect location

6 of us stayed in the apartment for a long weekend to celebrate our 40th’s. The apartment was really well equipped with all we needed. It was clean and spacious enough for us all, with really comfortable beds. We used the air con a few times which was an added bonus. We were really impressed with the location. It was amazing to be so close to the beach and the pool. The supermarket was excellently stocked so we made our lunches at the apartment and took to eat on the beach. Sun loungers at the beach were only a few € per day which made sunbathing so comfortable. We used the pool on site, although it was busy with children at the weekend. We loved being around locals - it felt so much more authentic than a overly British resort. We ate at one of the restaurants on the beach every night, enjoying the barbecued fish. We would love to return.

FANTASTIC

This apartment was fantastic! Exceeded our expectations as a family, not only is it decorated and furnished so well but it contained everything we needed from a cheese grater and a sieve to tennis rackets and a working tele for entertainment! It is situated on a lovely resort with all the essentials of a supermarket, restaurant etc! It has an outdoor olympic sized swimming pool which everyone enjoyed! Lovely atmosphere on the resort and we felt so secure with locked gates surrounding the perimeter! The area is beautiful, you can see the beach from the apartment and with a 90 second walk you can be on the promenade which contains bars, restaurants and shops! We spent several days on the beach enjoying our surroundings! We couldn't have felt more happy we picked this apartment and have already booked for next year! It has got air con in 3 rooms, a washing machine, an oven, a freezer for the essential ice creams and even 2 bathrooms! Beds were so comfy too! We couldn't have found a better apartment to fulfil all our needs and wants and more to make it a fantastic holiday for us! Brilliant!

very convenient appartment and excellent location

The appartment was spotless and we got very detailed information on how to find it. It was very well equiped and we found a baby cot for our 15 month old baby. The resort is luxuriant, really beautiful. We liked a lot being so close to the beach, and close to nice villages such as Salobrena, Frigliana, Competa. It was very quiet. A few minor drawbacks due to the fact that we were there in December : We used the heater as it was chilly in the morning and at night. it was very cold in the kids room with the large windows on the upper level, we had to give our blankets to the kids. The indoor swimming pool was very cold, I do not know if there was a specific problem or if this is usual in december but we were quite disappointed about this as we had choosen this appartment to enjoy the indoor pool with the 8 and 10 years old kids. Despite these minor drawbacks we would definitely recommend the residence to other people.

Great apartment and area

This apartment exceed what we expected, having only ever stayed in villas before we were not sure what to expect. But it had everything needed for a fantastic holiday. 2 showers/wc which is a must with 3 children, to the AC units in the 2 bedrooms and a ceiling fan in the third. It was a pleasure to have our morning coffee on the balcony and hear the waves breaking. The pool area is clean and well maintained with areas for you to relax in shade, lifeguards are on duty all day and are very attentive, the pool area is also very secure so small children can't escape, and you also need a key to be able to enter, in fact you need a key to be able to enter the complex from the beach promenade which makes it secure. The complex is very well maintained with some beautiful gardens. Less than 50m from the apartment and you are at the beach, you have a choice of hiring sun beds or just doing your own thing., the beach is very clean. The promenade has a variety of bars and restaurants for you to choose from, depending on your tastes, the children also found a few play areas along the front. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Phil was a pleasure to deal with, we will be recommending this apartment to everyone.

Perfect

I almost do not want to give a good review as I want to keep this apartment all to myself! The owners were polite with great communication and extremely trustworthy. You could not ask for a nicer apartment situated in such a perfect place. Everything in the apartment was to a high standard and clean. Air con was lovely and cool and cost us around 3 euros a day - you feed a machine in the apartment. This worked great for us as I did not need to feel guilty on those hot days where we had it on constantly. Wifi was free and generally very good. The location was perfect. To the left of the apartment was the sea - 1 minute walk tops. To the right was the large clean pool and a bar that was keenly priced. Cocktails were a euro cheaper here than in the town. The promenade was always busy and it was a couple of minutes walk to the main bar area. However, if you could not face that short walk, there was a beach bar almost directly outside the complex. In short. We fell in love with the apartment, the people, the complex and Torrox itself and will return. Highly recommended (but only on the weeks that we don't want to hire it!)

Excellent house, excellent location, excellent holiday experience

We have stayed in many properties over the years in many different countries. For us this is definitely one we will return to. The property has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Travelling with teenagers the first and second questions are WiFi and Air-conditioning. The WiFi was excellent. The Air-conditioning was essential in mid 30 degree C temperature. It was also smartly organized using a coin based system. We used it more at night probably around 3 euro with very little during the day. Having two bathroom's is also important with teenagers. Everything is available on your doorstep, pool, beach, restaurants, promenade walk, supermarkets within the complex also supermarkets offsite(Lidl + Aldi), car hire, bus. We had hired a car from Malaga but we only used it to travel outside on four separate occasions. On reflection I think next time we will use public transport to get to the property and hire a car locally. We visited Granada /Alhambra : excellent but exhausting, Frigilinia : beautiful, Nerja : charming, Torre Del Mar : a certain charm, Nerja caves : instantly forgettable and rude staff. Finally Phil was brilliant to deal with and responded to all of our queries sometimes within minutes. Phil, a big thank you.

Lovely apartment with a great location

Family of 4 (7yrs and 2 yrs) staying for 3 weeks. We have been to Torrox Costa before, so we knew where and what we wanted and this apartment ticked those boxes. There is a (ex-pat) local contact person, Sara to greet you and show you to your apartment. Laguna Beach complex is a gated complex right next to the beach, with a gate very nearby taking you to the lovely sandy beach; literary 2-4 minutes walk / less than 50 metres - Ideal!!! The apartment is situated amongst a very well and regularly maintained garden of trees, grassy areas and floral bushes with a well structured stream running through it, where the children would try to catch tiny fish with their nets or look for frogs croaking in the evenings. My son spotted a small lizard one evening! The beach is clean and spacious with an option to hire sun lounges. The pools are again situation to a similar distance and time to the beach. The Olympic size pool was super, never too busy and with lifeguards on duty all day. Baby pool was ideal for our little one and again never too busy. Pool side showers available and plenty of grassy areas if you wanted a day beside the pool instead of on the beach. Frequented the restaurant in the complex most days, ranging from visits for ice creams, hot and cold drinks, tapas to evening meals, all were good and tasty and with good service, which was the same with all the bars, cafe and restaurants situated along the promenade that we had frequented. The Promenade - 2.5km of lovey bars, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and a children's play area. We became regulars at restaurants, Buddhas, Caribe and Mambo for food and drinks; staff were great with our kids. Tried all the ice cream parlours along the promenade, we'll let you decide on your favourite parlour! Mambo is fantastic for seafood and pizzas! The Apartment - clean and well-maintained with ACs in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, the only one that doesn't have it actually has a constant cool breeze coming in. It does have a ceiling fan and also portable fan as well if required. We stayed in July and it was adequate. Kitchen - fully kitted with marble tops and quality finishing and a washing machine. Also, a 2 new additions, a microwave and a freezer offered everything we needed to make a sandwich to a complete evening meal. We have absolutely no hesitation on recommending this apartment. Correspondences with Phil were smooth and friendly, pleasure to have found his lovely apartment!

Excellent location, well equipped and very clean - stayed April 2018

We stayed here for 6 nights at the beginning of April 2018. The location was excellent although not really beach weather. Laguna Beach resort is on the beach and has multiple outside swimming pools (not in use out of season) and one small indoor pool (was in use) also tennis courts. The Laguna Beach grounds are large and attractive and even had showers outside for rinsing off when you come from the beach. There are some shops including a well stocked little supermarket on site (not everything was open in April). Restaurants all very close along pleasant promenade. Large supermarket on other side of main road easily walkable. The apartment is upstairs in a two story block and is split over 2 levels. The 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs, one downstairs) are all good sizes with big wardrobes and the beds are comfortable. There are two small bathrooms each with shower, basin and loo. Lounge has 2 comfortable sofa's and TV (if you want english TV bring a chromecast or similar - we did and were able to stream netflix). Free Wifi is excellent. Kitchen was well equipped with hob, oven and microwave (no grill) plenty of pans, cutlery, crockery etc. Towels and tea towels provided. Washing machine in kitchen and washing line upstairs on balcony. There are plenty of air con units operated on a central meter (euro coins) but we did not need it. No problems parking once we worked out where to go. There is a big terracotta hotel just before Laguna Beach and for parking you need to turn into the hotel entrance and then go right. It feels like you are turning into the hotel but you will then see the parking which is adjacent to Laguna Beach and on the left as you face the Laguna Beach front entrance. You can't access the apartment from the car park until you have retrieved the key fob as there is an electronic gate system in operation so leave the luggage in the car and walk around to the front and find the apartment first. The Todos Santos blocks are on the left of the complex as you face the front entrance. Phil was very helpful and all went smoothly. This is an ideal beach holiday location for a family in summer with the options of beach and pools on the doorstep. The inside staircase is spiral and steps up to the apartment probably make it less suitable if you have limited mobility. Bathrooms are rather small so if you needed to help child or adult wash then a bit tricky otherwise really highly recommended.

El apartamento es un dúplex. Tiene escaleras de subida para acceder a él y también para subir a dos de las habitaciones. El baño de abajo necesita una reforma. También cambiar algunas persianas. La ubicación es buena con respecto a la playa y a la piscina. La piscina requiere de una llave de entrada y sólo disponíamos de 2 (tuvimos que pedir favores a los socorristas para poder entrar los cinco).

Thanks for your review apologies for the fobs to get into the pool. These have been on order now for 6 weeks and still we are waiting its out of our hands. Although I have since found out that a letter from the admin will get any one in the apartment in.

Schöne Ferienanlage

Das Apartment ist voll ausgestattet und liegt 50 m vom Meer weg. Es war sauber aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Beschreibung war unzureichend. Der Check-in in der Nacht sehr schwierig da nur eine Keybox erwähnt wurde, wir aber diese erst nach mehrfacher Nachfrage gefunden haben. Die Keybox musste auch gewechselt werden, da Sie sich nicht mehr schließen liess. Die Türe zur Waschmaschine fielbeim Aufmachen heraus. Der Balkon konnte nicht genutzt werden, da die Klimaanlage dort die heisse Luft herausblies. Die Duschen unglaublich eng .
