Villa Mori is a newly restored 210 sqm villa set on 3 levels, located 15 mn' drive to Syracuse city, in the country side, and 8 mn' drive to the sandy beach of Arenella. Villa Mori is surrounded by a well-kept spacious garden and lovely pool (10 x 12 metres/depth from 0,50 to 2,80 metres), 2 veranda. It can welcome up to 6 guests, children included. It is made of: on the ground floor spacious bright main room with dining area and living area that look on the veranda/pool, kitchen inside the main room (with dishwasher), one full bathroom next to the main room, 2 veranda.
On the first floor a relax area, on the second floor 2 bedrooms each one with its ensuite bathroom , on the third and last floor another bedroom with its bathroom + small living room. All the 3 bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning/heating + tv.

during check-in the tourist tax is kindly requested in cash, and a deposit which will be returned at check-out if there are no damages

Just returned as a family of 4 from a lovely weeks stay at Villa Mori. The villa was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The pool is huge and water temperature was perfect.Vanessa was very helpful throughout and checking in and out was simple. The A/C issue that has been mentioned in previous reviews is frustrating at times but certainly didn't affect us too much.There also isn't much shaded area around the pool (the gazebo in the photo is no longer there) which didn't bother us but may be important to others that need some relief from the sun.Overall we had a great holiday and would definitely stay at Villa Mori again

The villa is beautiful. The outdoor space was lovely for what we wanted and the inside was spacious and clean. The major downside is the A/C. It will only work in the communal space OR the bedrooms. As adults staying with children this made the communal area unbearable of an evening as we couldn’t have any A/C on. I will note we stayed in Sicily during a heatwave and the heat was extreme plus 40 most days but for the price I would expect A/C to be available in all living spaces. Vanessa was really attentive and helpful and prompt in her responses when we had any issues she sorted them as quickly as she could.

A lovely week in Villa Mori. The house was large and plenty of space. Large and lovely pool. Good kitchen, we didn't use the outdoor grill because we didn't have charcoal and lighting equipment. A little unusual about not being able to flush paper down the toilet. The house is located in the countryside, so a car is necessary because it is not recommended to walk along the roads. Thank you for the good hospitality and quick response from our host Vanessa.

Our host, Vanessa welcomed us with a pasta dish which was much appreciated. She talked us through the essentials and left useful information about where to eat etc.

From booking to departure the communication with Vanessa was faultless. Check in was easy, the property clean and as described, with the photos accurate. Just one exception, the gazebo/seat by the pool in the images is no longer there.The villa is well located, a ten minute drive from Ortigia, where there is ample car parking. Good supermarkets a similar distance away.The beds were comfortable, allowing a good night’s sleep, and the pool enormous and deep at the deep end - well over six feet. The water was clean and warm and we made ample use of it.Check out was similarly easy, and communication throughout our stay trouble free. If we had any observations they would be restricted to only being able to use the air conditioning in the bedrooms or the downstairs living space, not both. Any attempt to use both tripped the fuse box. Not a massive problem for us, but if travelling in a party with young children who have early bed times it would be a significant problem in the heat. Also slightly disappointing in this day and age that toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet, but given the slight remoteness of the villa it’s not entirely unexpected.All in all an excellent stay. Many thanks Vanessa! Book this villa - you won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous pool

We had a lovely stay at the villa. Vanessa was very helpful, the check in was easy and she'd even made us some delicious pasta for our first night. There is loads of space at the villa - perfect for teenagers - and the pool is brilliant. It's really big and just wonderful on a hot day. As the listing says,you will need a car but it was easy to drive into Syracuse and Noto.

Great Property

Villa is a good size with an amazing pool. Owners are accessible and helpful and we were provided with a fabulous pasta on our first day as well as an incredibly detailed book providing excellent information on eateries etc in the local area. As noted on other reviews the AC is a bit of a logistical juggle as it trips if used on more than one floor. Pool is amazing and we all enjoyed our stay very much.

Absolutely wonderful 2 weeks stay at Villa Mori from start to finish! Late arrival and pasta and water waiting for us which was much appreciated! Nothing was a bother to the hosts Vanessa or Marco! Clean, spacious and beautiful villa with all you need! Would highly recommend. We had a car so hand for getting out and about to explore. Villa was private and quiet and we had a beautiful peaceful 2 weeks of family bliss!!! Sicily we will be back!

Good property for four

Great location with quick access to Siracusa, key amenities and shops. Property has excellent pool, and plenty of room downstairs, including good kitchen. Bedrooms 1 & 2 on the first floor are decent size, with en suite shower/ toilet/ wash basins. Second floor, which we did not use, has good facilities but sharply sloping ceiling, only suitable for children. Only issue is the aircon, which works well but you have to choose carefully which units to run or else the fuse Trips out. We had to learn how to balance aircon and other electric device usage. Not a major issue, but worth knowing

We had a very nice stay.

My husband and I traveled with my sister and my brother-in-law, and we just wanted to get away for a week and be lazy by the pool. And that is essentially what we did! + The pool was great. + The house is beautiful. + The kitchen worked perfectly, and we cooked most meals together every day. - The only downside was the AC. When it worked, it was great, but we couldn’t have it on upstairs and downstairs at the same time. And if you’re traveling in a group, chances are someone wants to take a siesta upstairs while another is in the kitchen. Since we were there in the middle of July, the AC is kind of important. We noticed we couldn’t run the washing machine and the downstairs AC at the same time either, and the AC turns off when you leave the house. Which is understandable if everyone is leaving together, but when my husband headed out to run errands and the rest of us stayed at the house, we had to go with him to the gate first so we could let him out, and then return to activate the AC again. (The keys can’t be separated.) But all in all, we enjoyed our stay and Sicily is so worth the visit. We hope to come back one day and explore more.

Die Villa ist sehr gut gelegen um Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu machen ohne immer erst durch die Stadt zu fahren.Siesta unter den Olivenbäumen im Garten - ein Traum.Es ist sehr ruhig und natürlich mit dem großen Garten und Pool traumhaft zum entspannen. Großzügige Räume, die Küche ist vielleicht etwas spärlich ausgestattet und die Pfannen waren zerkratzt und verbeult, aber okay, wir haben einfach eine Neue gekauft.Praktisch, der Parkplatz vor dem Haus um auch den größten Einkauf bequem ins Haus zu bringen und in den großen Kühlschrank zu packen. Die Kommunikation mit Vanessa ist hervorragend und als ich sie nach einer neuen Matratze gefragt habe, kam sie mit ihrer Tochter 2 Stunden später an, um auch mir in der obersten Etage mit zwei neuen Matratzen ein bequemes, vorzügliches Zimmer zu bereiten .. Großartig!

Eine wundervolle Villa mit Wohlfühlgarantie!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa Mori! Die Unterkunft hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den großen, sehr gepflegten Pool, der an heißen Tagen einfach perfekt war – sowohl für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene ein echtes Highlight.Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, hell und sehr sauber, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Es ist genug Platz für alle, auch wenn man mit einer größeren Gruppe reist. Die Villa ist durchdacht eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht.Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Vanessa, die jederzeit für uns erreichbar war. Sie war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat bei Fragen oder Anliegen immer sofort reagiert – ein wirklich toller Kontakt, der den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat.Wir können die Villa Mori uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr großes Haus, toller Pool

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und der Pool riesig. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und Vanessa war immer sofort da, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Das Wohnzimmer im Anbau und die Schlafzimmer im ersten und zweiten Stock liegen ein bisschen weit auseinander. Die direkte Umgebung ist nicht so schön, aber man ist mit dem Auto sehr schnell im wunderschönen Syrakus.

toller Herbsturlaub

Tolles Haus, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Ausstattung modern und alles vorhanden. Herausragend war der wirklich große Pool. Vanessa war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden mit einen leckeren Essen im Kühlschrank empfangen und sie hatte tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Sightseeing. Gerne wieder!

Für uns war der Aufenthalt ok. Das Haus ist eine Oase mitte auf dem Feld,..Die Gastgeberin, das Garten , der Pool und Wohnbereich sind super, das Zimmer in Dachgeschoss ist eher für Kinder oder kleine Leute geeignet.

Super sejour

Villa superbe un peu à l’écart de la ville mais au calme et les commerces sont accessibles facilement en voiture (la voiture est obligatoire par contre…) On a eu des petits soucis avec la réservation de notre véhicule et Vanessa (la propriétaire) nous a aidé gentiment pour nous conduire faire quelques courses le temps que la voiture arrive. Un plat de pâtes, de l’eau et du vin nous attendait d’ailleurs dans le frigo. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances

Villa au top

La villa est très spacieuse avec toute les commodités, la piscine est bien entretenue et très grande. Vanessa la propriétaire nous fait trouvé à notre arrivés un plat de pâtes et de l’eau fraîche dans le frigo, super !! Un grand merci pour votre disponibilité et vos adresses. Je recommande ++++

Sehr zufrieden

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in einem super Haus. Die Ausstattung ist gut und war für uns völlig ausreichend. Der Kontakt zu Stephanie, die das Haus übergibt, war super, nicht nur das wir etwas früher in das Haus durften, hat sie uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben und war auch bei Reservierungen in Restaurants behilflich, vielen Dank dafür. Die Besitzer waren auch sehr nett und die Rückgabe des Hauses klappte problemlos. Die Lage des Hauses war für uns super, nicht zu weit von allem was wir sehen wollten aber weit genug um seine Ruhe zu haben. Der Pool ist klasse und war der Mittelpunkt wenn wir im Haus waren. Toll war auch das Willkommenspaket der Besitzer damit war man für den ersten Abend gut versorgt, auch dafür noch Mals vielen Dank. Unser Fazit ist, dass das Haus unbedingt empfehlenswert ist.
