Nature house in the middle of the forests of the Veluwe

This light, modern and cozy nature house stands together with nine other houses in the middle of the forest on a private terrain of 1.6 ha. The cottage gives a view of a meadow on the west side. From this place you can enjoy a magnificent sunset, while the rabbits roam among the trees and the owl makes its first call. The house has large glass fronts on all sides so that you constantly feel really in the middle of the forest.
The living room and dining room are spacious and cozy and offer views of the forest on two sides, the large bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe. The small bedroom has two single beds. One of those is a loft bed. The soft green kitchen is as good as new and has a fridge-freezer, a combi oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of storage space for the kitchen stuff. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The cottage measures 70 m2 and is heated by a central heating system and has a wood stove. Furthermore, there is of course a television, DVD player, internet and WiFi available.
The cottage has 3 terraces, so that you can sit in the sun and in the shade at any time of the day. The rear terrace is sheltered between the trees, the covered side terrace protects against the wind on chilly days, the front terrace is large and offers a beautiful view of both forest and meadows.



Nature and environment.
As said, the cottage is surrounded by nature. There are various walking routes (such as the well-known Klompenpaden route) and cycle paths within a hundred meters of the cottage. These lead you through the varied Roekelse forest with sand drifts, heaths and a lookout tower where you can see the deer and deer grazing in the evening, just like the wild boar with their piglets. Success guaranteed! You can cycle along the beautiful cycle paths to Ede or Lunteren.
You also book beautiful walks under the guidance of a forester.
Along the house you will find the release area for dogs with its own walking route of approximately 7 km. Dogs experience the time of their lives in and around the nature house!
In the village of Otterlo (at 900 meters) are the shops and you can rent every imaginable bike. Group tours can be booked. With its restaurants and cafés, Otterlo has been a cozy tourist resort for many years.
There is a beautiful natural swimming pool on the Zanding site, which is also lovely for the little ones.
The Kröller Müller Museum in the Hoge Veluwe National Park is nearby and can be reached by bus in a few minutes from the village, good for a wonderful day of Art and Nature! Furthermore, Burgers ’Zoo and the Dutch Open Air Museum are close by. Otterlo itself has a Tile Museum, Paleis het Loo in Apeldoorn is also not too far. In short, too much to do! And if it rains sometime, you can go to the cinema in Ede, or catch a day in Amsterdam? You then take the train at Ede-Wageningen station.
This cozy holiday home is located in the middle of the forest of the Roekel in Otterlo and offers a beautiful view of the forest and vast meadows. The cottage is located directly on the edge of the nature reserve and has a large leash area for dogs. You have a large degree of privacy! (It is not a bungalow park!)

Otterlo, with its shops and restaurants, is an 8-minute walk away, and the Kroller Muller Museum on the Hoge Veluwe is a 5-minute drive away. Nearby swimming pools and zoos. Bicycle rental in all shapes and sizes in the village.
