The Sea Shells is a modern 3 bedroom holiday home located just a few minutes stroll from the stunning golden sandy beach of Camber. The historic town of Rye is just a short drive away. This house is ideally located on a quiet cul-de-sac on the award winning White Sands development.

The Sea Shells is perfect for a family, couples or for a group of friends, wishing to explore the local surroundings, or to enjoy the history of the medieval town of Rye with its array of restaurants and inns.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub an einem sehr schönen Ort

Wir haben eine schöne Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Es ist sehr gut aufgeteilt und war für uns als fünfköpfige Familie ideal. Wir haben auch Ausflüge nach Rye und London unternommen. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Another lovely stay

Happy with everything on the whole :-). Only thing I would change being able to check in earlier then 4pm on the first day as it leaves it rather late to unpack and make use of the holiday ( & in our case cleaners were not ready then, but kind and apologetic :)..) Any advice for next stayers would be to make sure the bin men take the bin. Lovely house, lovely part of England and nice surroundings including the lovely town of Rye. Appreciate the lovely welcome greeting and cake at arrival, went down a treat with the kids. Thank you for having us as always 😊

Holiday home by the beach

We had a lovely time at Sea shells. The location was ideal being just a short walk from the beach. The rooms were well layed out for separating a family with different age group. Thoughtful little ideas like childrens books and toys about as well as magazines/dvds/board games for adults. Loved the decor with the ‘By the sea’ feel. Only thing to add which didn’t take away from the stay was an add on shower head would have been good for the Bath and also the little issue with the shower draining but we fixed that so was no longer a problem. The screen wipers for the sand in shower and bathroom were of great use. Loved the Tatners restaurant in Rye to eat and we tended to shop at the big Sainsburys in New Romney but there is a convenient shop ten mins walk out of the resort next to a playground that had everything you need. Free money withdrawing cash point cost cutters in Rye. Amanda was good in communicating and nice. We hope to come and stay again.

Ein sauberes, gemütliches Häuschen mit einen kleinen Garten! Es hat alles was man sich wünscht und ist nicht weit vom Strand! Die Besitzer sind sehr nette hilfsbereite Menschen und haben auf Fragen immer schnell reagiert! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Just perfect - one night stay

The photos don’t do this home justice, it’s lovely - very homely - there are more pictures hanging on the walls than in the photos, my youngest loved that there were two boxes of toys in the bunk bed room and my oldest loved that there were so many board games. The shower was powerful, and the water tank is large so we all managed to have one to get ready before the Christening all one after one another. In fact there are three bathrooms at the property, (read the description don’t just look at the pictures). The master bedroom has a huge fitted wardrobe with loads of hanging space and they really have thought about providing everything hairdryer, iron and board etc. The only thing and it really didn’t make a difference to us but the TV is a little small (there is also now one in the master too). Parking is excellent, out of the way, right next to the house. We only needed somewhere for one night so didn’t get much chance to use the kitchen but it looked like it had everything you would need. Thank you for the milk and cake - a nice touch Amanda and thank you for letting us stay in your lovely holiday home. If you’re thinking of staying here then do, it’s lovely, very reasonably priced for what you get. We can recommend the Pelican Fish Bar too, we just got there before it closed at 8pm (and remember it’s cash only!)

Camber sands

Great property, well kept and in convenient proximity to beach and Rye with a great host. Property had everything we needed for dining in on occasion. It was worth taking essentials for breakfast etc. as only small convenience store near by. Had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it.

Family Break

Great property!!

Great spot so close to the beach for a refreshing walk this morning and perfect for our weekend getaway. Really well maintained and set up, fabulous place to stay!

The Sea Shells downstairs comprises of a spacious nautical themed living room with a sofa bed for 2 people. An open plan-kitchen/dinning room which leads out to a lovely decked patio area in the garden. Downstairs also has a separate WC.

The upstairs comprises of three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed for 2 people.

The Sea Shells is perfect and well equipped with everything to make life easier when travelling with small children. We have a highchair, plastic plates/cups/cutlery, a travel gate and a travel cot, plus a few toys and books to keep them occupied whilst you relax.
