B08 Les Niveoles apartment is on the first floor of a small apartment block in a small three block complex. It is 39m2 and has one bedroom, one bathroom and a coin montagne. The apartment is styled with more than a nod to the red which is synonymous with the Savoie region, but with a twist as the apartment has been tastefully furnished with some key mid 20th century pieces of furniture to give it a light and airy feel.
Entrance Hall
When you enter the apartment, you are greeted with a generous entrance hall, with the coin montagne bunk beds tucked away in an alcove. The full sized single beds have curtains giving total privacy and a cosy feel. Both beds have a reading light.
There is a wardrobe with shelves in the hall and plenty of other hanging space both in the hall and in another large cupboard. There is also a laundry cupboard with a washer dryer, drying rack, ironing board and iron, washing basket and plenty of room for storage.
The hall also has a shoe rack and 3/4 length mirror.
Bathroom
The fully tiled bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet and heated towel rail with additional hanging space on the bathroom door. There is a European electric socket by the sink and a hairdryer is supplied for use during your stay. We also supply a welcome pack of eco friendly packaged toiletries.
Kitchen/Lounge
The comprehensively equipped kitchen has everything that you need for your stay. As well as standard equipment that you'd expect in a well appointed apartment such as double two sets of crockery for each person, full sets of pots and pans and baking equipment, there is also a raclette, fondue and pizza stone (for the less savoyarde minded). There is a link to our inventory below if you are looking for a particular item. There is a full set of kitchen appliances, including a 12 place dishwasher, fan oven, electric hob and microwave.
The dining table seats 4 and extends to 6 with sufficient chairs for everyone.
There is a large corner sofa with lots of cushions and throws, which are perfect for snuggling up on a winter's evening (though the apartment temperature is very stable and can easily be controlled). There is an LCD TV with CD player and some classic games, such as Dobble, Scrabble, Bananagrams and more if you don't want to turn on the television and you can hear your choice of listening on the blue tooth speaker.
Bedroom
The bedroom has a double bed with two beside tables and wardrobe as well as more door hanging space and large bedside cupboards, with lots of room around the bed to allow you to move about. There are two side lights and the main light can be controlled from the bed.
Balcony
The large, south facing balcony has a corner sofa with cushions and throws available, so it's possible to sit out in the spring evenings and enjoy the mountain air. There is also a dining table with seating for 6 and a large electric BBQ.
The Cave
In the basement, there is a lockable, full height 'cave' , which is about 1.5m * 1m floor space, giving you plenty of room to store multiple skis and snowboards. There is a key supplied to the carpark in the apartment which gives you direct access to the cave through the carpark, which is very useful for picking up and dropping off equipment as ski boots as not permitted in the main apartment block as they can damage the floor tiles. As the cave is dry and warm, it is possible to leave ski boots there overnight, but as there is a portable boot/glove dryer in the apartment, most people choose to carry their boots up to the apartment and get them warmed up overnight.
Changeover
Changeover is on SUNDAY. We will consider stays of less than one week in non peak periods.
