Dear Linlin: In response to your complaints; all the toilets are new single flush comfort height and we have not had any issues with them plugging before and you didn’t mention this to us while you were here. The hot water tank is a standard ESA electric 40 gallon tank and have had none of our previous guests complaining about lack of hot water, nor did you when you were here. As you can see by the pictures of the house, the rocks you refer to, are a sea wall engineered for winter storm protection. There is a path to the beach with a handrail which your family used to access the shoreline. The owner has made several updates to the property including; energy certified washer and dryer, new kitchen facets, new laminate flooring in the 3 bedrooms, new bedroom ceiling fans and a new bedroom. You were given a printout the day before your departure of the check out guidelines which are also posted in the unit. We ask all our guest to remove the sheets and pillowcases and place them in the laundry room with any other soiled laundry. We do not require or ask our guests to do the laundry. As far as the pet policy we inform all our guests before they book our units that this in a no pet property. This is on our listing, it is on the acceptance email and it is mentioned again before arrival. This is protect our guests and staff that may have allergies. It is up to each owner to decide what rules and policies they want followed. The extra charge was for the failure to follow the policies and the extra hours it took to get the unit ready for our next guests. We want all our guests to come here, relax and enjoy the views without feeling they have to clean their rental before using it. We take great pride in our high standard of cleanliness! Management
