This is a charming and well appointed home but the real home run is its location steps from a beautiful, safe beach. There were a few disappointments like the lovely jetted tub having no hot water and the beach lounges shown were rudely commandeered by another group. But all in all, this is a home run and great value for the money.
Our private pool, but the ocean was so fantastic we never used it.

Wonderful villa in superb sleepy location

We loved celebrating my partners birthday with our friends at Coconut Laguna!!Character of villa, inside and out was fantastic!! The combo of beach and pool only steps from undercover entertaining deck area made for the most relaxing holiday. We enjoyed the kayaks and floating in the pool inflatable. Good access to beach front bar/restaurants just a few mins down the beach, and all the wonderful restaurants and night markets within 10-15 mins walk or a short drive away meant we were spoilt for choice for dining and shopping!Road side street food out the front each morning meant we had delicious grilled fish and meat and papaya salad just at the end of driveway! Local furry friends on at times a deserted beach also added to the “old Thailand” feel we were looking for. Kitchen well appointed and outdoor stove/oven and BBQ also meant we were able to cook up our own goodies and even make our delicious cocktails with the supplied blender and all the fabulous local fruits! Suggested improvements would be more towels or more regular replacements and inclusion of drinking water. Also greater transparency about having to pay for water, additional towels and daily power limits and costs associated with exceeding this. Recommend booking a scooter to explore island and access local sites/shops.

Villa de rêve

Magnifique villa sur la plage.exceptionnelle ! Nous avons passé des vacances formidables entre amis. Petit bémol, insonorisation inexistante entre les chambres et plancher en bois à l’étage donc beaucoup de bruit ds la chambre en dessous . Revoir aussi la literie ds la chambre où il y a 2 lits. Maison très bien équipée. Service de ménage très bien tous les jours ainsi que le changement des draps et des serviettes tous les 3 jours. Linge lavé et repassé rapidement et peu onéreux. Si vous souhaitez passer de bonnes vacances je vous conseille de choisir cette magnifique maison.

Magical time with family

Pool just a step outside your door and beach just a few steps beyond that. It was magical every day we stayed there. So blessed to be at such a beautiful property for 10 days. We had 8 family members in the house which was very comfortable. It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It was very livable for everyone. We were a family -- 2 couples and 2 singles and 2 kids and everyone had their own space and everything. I would definitely suggest this place to everyone. It is not brand new but it has style.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

This is a beautiful villa, right on the beach, the pool is great. It has an amazing view. The house is very comfortable, we spent 12 days there, two families with young children and had an amazing time. I definitely recommend this villa if you are looking for a relaxing holiday

Fantastic peaceful stay for a family beach holiday

We spent 3 weeks with our 2 children and had a fantastic time. The villa is lovely and has all you need. The beach was very private and quiet when we were there in August. The staff was helpful with whatever we asked. We enjoyed the kayaks and the kids spent most of their holiday in the pool. We rented scooters to tour around the island, which we thought is a bit of a necessity if you stay long. Lots of things to do and see or stroll along the beach and try the many restaurants. Enough variety in style. 2 things that are good to know. There's a big main road behind the villa's surroundings that you don't see from the villa, but you can hear the noisy motorbikes/scooters, through the night (if you are a light sleeper without earplugs). And the sea is very low and rocky in the morning. Great for finding little creatures but not for swimming.

Absolute Luxury

Our experience Laguna Sands was perfect. The staff were all warm, welcoming and discreet. We traveled with two teenagers and the villas accommodated everyone's needs. Very private, clean and luxurious villas. We felt safe and at ease during our stay. The staff helped us to get the masseur to come to the villa, all very convenient. We were also lucky as the owner just added a BBQ! We highly recommend Laguna Sands for a peaceful and luxurious stay. We will return again.

Excellent!

The villa was as described. Our party of six really enjoyed the villa and the location. The kids had a lot of fun as the pool and the beach where just steps away. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy this is the place. The porch was a plus where we could see the kids in the pool or the beach having an excellent time. BBO the owner was very attentive via email and helpful to our questions. Pla the villa manager was excellent as well, as she was very helpful in explaining everything and making sure we felt comfortable. Another plus I can think of was that Pla setup for us the car rental and having a massage in the porch of the villa! This was excellent as we were able to enjoy the massage and enjoy the villa without going out...one thing to consider depending on how long you stay is renting a car as it gives you the ability to enjoy other parts of the island...oh I almost forgot, it was very nice to arrive and have some refreshments and water in the fridge, and also some toiletries already in the villa.

Brilliant Villa right on the beach!

Stayed In Laguna SANDS beach front Villa for 7 nights (oct 13th - Oct 20th, 2014). It was just perfect. It is located in the quiet part of Bang por beach. It also has its own private pool as well as another communal pool. The next door neighbour Mr Roberto is also very helpful. and let us use the Kayaks everday for free. simply the best place to go if you want to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves from the porch. Rain or shine this place does not disappoint! When its sunny you can lay down on the beach and enjoy the view of the sea, When raining you can lay down on the porch where there are also nice sunbeds and enjoy the sea. The Villa and the beach is well maintained. The place has security at night who walks the beach to make sure no intruders are there, He does not intrude into your affairs. He just minds his own business and gets on with his job. BB (The Owner) was very good and gave us a lot of helpful tips. She made sure everything was ready for us when we got there. There are some very nice eating place on the beach. We always went to a restaurant called "JUN HOOM". It was 5 minutes walk along the beach (go right if you are facing the sea). Brilliant place to eat. the best food we have had. Or if you dont fancy going out, the villa has its own well equipt kitchen. The shops are nearby. The excursion place near too,It does cheap excursions as well as bike or car rentals. You are looking at around £4 a day for bike rentals and £20 a day car rental. this place is 5 minutes walk along the road. (Go left if face the road). and is on the opposite side. A guy comes to villa to book excursions for you, But I recommend the shop which is cheaper and sometimes they give discount. I would also recommend you take with mosquito repelents and bite cream. If you want to party then "Chewang" is 20 minutes cab ride.

Amazing house - right at the beach

We (2 adults, 2 kids) had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful property July 10-20th 2013. Everything from booking the property, paying for it and actually staying there was just perfect. The owner was very accommodating and to our big surprise informed us about two weeks before our stay about the fact that the house had now gotten its own private pool. This is on top of the community pool just behind the house and the ocean beach just in front of the houses porch. The staff of the laguna property maintenance team was brilliant and we were surprised to learn when we arrive that on top of the linen and towel change every couple of days the staff would also come by every day to do a basic cleaning of the living area and porch, including doing the dishes. What a service! Sao, the housekeeper, was always reachable and happy to help with anything - she took care of getting our laundry done (2 days turnaround) and arranged massage services for us at a very reasonable rate that we made use of almost every day of our stay. Is there anything nicer then getting a full body massage on the porch hearing the ocean waves in the background? The house could easily accommodate 4 adults and 4 kids and the kitchen is very well equipped. All in all, I'd highly recommend this property and hope to be back one day!

Delightful beach villa

This is a delightful beach villa in a laid-back part if Koh Samui. Great place to relax. An uncrowded beach in front and a lovely pool in gardens at the back. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Sao was happy to arrange anything we needed. The owner BB was helpful and very easy to arrange the rental with. Highly recommended.

Bien etre et repos!

Nous sommes reste a Laguna SUN 10 jours et il a ete difficile d'en partir. Tout est tres bien concocte et la villa de 4 chambres toute en teck est tres agreable a vivre,On bronze sur l'herbe et on est dans l'eau en quelques pas seulement...on ne peut pas etre plus pres! On n'a pas mange une seule fois a la maison...tous les restaurants autour et sur la plage sont excellents et peu cher. Samui est un enchantement! Le service impecable et discret, notre hote pleine d'attentions, les jardins plein de fleurs et pas un bruit (a part les oiseaux). On va y retourner au plus tot...meme endroit.
