Close to Lakolk's wide sandy beach is this very cozy cottage with good views of Lakolk lake, where there is a rich wildlife. The house is located on a small side road, which means that there is nice peace and quiet. The cottage is suitable for 4 people + a child up to 3 years. There is an open kitchen / dining room and living room with wood stove where you can enjoy a good book or a board game. There is Danish TV with the large viasat TV package. From the kitchen there is access to the cozy garden room where you can enjoy the fantastic views in all kinds of weather. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 single beds respectively. Bathroom with shower and underfloor heating and a guest toilet. The house is heated by environmentally friendly solar energy and has an energy-saving air / air heat pump. The house has 2 terraces, which means that you have the opportunity to find shelter, sunbathe and enjoy your meals outdoors. In the area around Lakolk, there are many hiking trails that take you through dune areas, heather areas and areas characterized by pine trees. Try e.g. the 3 km long hike in Tvismark Plantage, which also offers a beautiful vantage point, where on clear days you can see all the way to Esbjerg. Lakolk is an old holiday home area on the west side of Rømø with an approx. 15 km long bathing beach, which is Scandinavia's widest. It is possible to drive all the way down to the water's edge. Not far from the house you will find Lakolk town, where you can do your shopping in Lakolk Butikscenter and experience Rømø Mini Museum, which tells about the tidal influence on Rømø's nature. The city also offers several restaurants, an equestrian center and a candle foundry, where you can cast your own candles. Rømø is the Wadden Sea's largest island and is located in the middle of the Wadden Sea National Park. In 2014, Rømø was included on UNESCO & # 180 ;s World Heritage List as one of the world & # 39 ;s most valuable tidal areas. Here you can go on a trip with a nature guide and see seals, eat fresh oysters straight from the seabed and get to know more about the many birds that use the island as a break on their long trips both north and south.
