We had a wonderful stay. We couldn’t fault the apartment, we had everything to make our stay comfortable - cooking / cleaning etc. and felt completely at home. Access to the fairmont was a great addition, we will definitely be returning.

Gail and Chris are exceptional and wonderful hosts! They provide a wealth of information and special thoughtful touches to make for an incredible stay and experience! Their home is so beautiful, spotless and clean with many personal touches and the upper terrace and view is pure bliss. The grounds and pools at Sugar Hill are stunning and so very well kept. The staff at Sugar Hill and The Deck restaurant are wonderful, friendly amd professional. We were so very happy with and enjoyed our stay and especially how wonderful, professional and responsive Gail and Chris are as hosts!

We had the most wonderful stay at Sugar Hill Estate in Barbados with premium host. Their penthouse is beautiful and immaculate. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped and had stunning sea views. It was also directly opposite the smaller pool, which was lovely and peaceful. The estate itself was beautiful, with friendly and helpful staff, and having membership to the Fairmount Beach Club was a fantastic bonus. We would see the sun go down in the evenings - truly special memories.Our host genuinely cared about us having a wonderful stay and her communication throughout was excellent. She kept us informed and was always helpful and thoughtful. As she knew we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and provided us with a complimentary gift which was such a lovely and personal touch. Thank you both so much.We were also lucky to be in Barbados during the Crop over and got to see Barbardos's national treasure, along with all the amazing costumes and celebrations. It made our trip even more memorableWe would highly recommend staying here, especially for couples looking for a beautiful, peaceful and special place to stay. Thank you for opening up your home to us. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning.

Overall, a wonderful experience. The host was nothing short of perfect in all respects. Gail was able to address all of our needs, which really were none due to the superb condition and great information that was provided for our stay. Can't Be Beat in Barbados

Although the indoor space was a bit snugger than expected, the two levels of outdoor space were magnificent. The unit was very well appointed and provisioned, and the owner was a pleasure to work with.

We are happy that you enjoyed the outside areas, we specifically purchased the apartment for the wonderful outside spaces it gives us. The downstairs dining terrace and comfortable reading chairs with fans to keep cool. in the evening we always go up to the upper terrace to enjoy some sundowners whilst watching the sunsets, or even star gaze with our binoculars for fab stargazing. you are welcome back anytime. kindest regards', Gail and Chris.

Amazing Accommodations

Had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed the Sugar Hill apartment. The Deck restaurant on location and both pools are even better than the pictures. Meals outside on the balcony are a plus. The location and how close it is to the beach and Holetown are ideal. After a long day of exploring we always looked forward to getting back to relax and enjoy the facility.

The grounds and pools are glorious to come back too after a hard day exploring. 'The Deck' restaurant is a superb setting over looking the West coast, with a great viewing point for those sunsets. Our first visit to Gail & Chris’s apartment but it won’t be the last! The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to relax immediately and the Fairmont beach passes were a real bonus. Thank you both for a perfect stay.

A beautiful apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Hill. The apartment is everything you need and more.If you have any questions just ask as from the point of booking all the way to the end of your stay you are kept informed and updated by the hosts. This includes the obligatory checking in process but also tips on the area, restaurants, shopping where to, how to and what to. The beach club membership is an added advantageWe will be returning to Barbados as soon as we are able and will have no hesitation in staying here again.

Beautiful accomodation in Barbados

From the moment we stepped into the villa, we knew we made a great decision. The view overlooking the pool was beautiful. The furnishings are very comfortable and the villa is well stocked. The owners have thought of everything including some welcoming supplies in the refrigerator. The communication was excellent before, during and after our trip! We look forward to returning.

Barbados 2023

Had a lovely stay in Chris and Gail’s apartment. The size was just right for us at the roof terrace was an added bonus. We used the Fairmount pass many times but there are so many other beautiful beaches to choose from on the island. We would definitely come back.

Great Apartment in a fantastic location

I have stayed at SH many times and this is one of the best apartments. Well appointed, nicely refurbed bathroom and upper patio. Lots of little details including a very welcome fridge full of essentials for us late arrivals. Great communication from owner. My new go to for BIM.

Amazing break

My husband & I stayed here for 10 days in February 2023 for my birthday break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is gorgeous with everything you need. The location is very convenient & we used the beach club most days. We hired a car for the whole stay so that we could drive round the island. I can not recommend the apartment enough. Thank you Gail, again for a truly memorable stay.

Barbados holiday

First time in Barbados and this is the perfect apartment for a holiday. It overlooks the pool in Sugar Hill development and is warm comfortable and has everything you could think of . Most importantly, the owners Gail and Chris were so helpful pre visit in terms of car rental, where to go, where to shop, restaurants and of course the beaches. Their manager Alicia was also on hand for any query. This was our first time to Barbados and will definitely come back due to the warmth of the people , their humour and of course the island.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful trip to Barbados and enjoyed our stay at this condo in Sugar Hill. Gail went above and beyond to provide us with information and tips for a great vacation. The groceries in the refrigerator when we arrived was really a nice extra. The unit is well maintained and was spotless. We loved the two outdoor balconies and spent much of our time at the condo on them. The owners provide so many extras such as beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, cooler bags, etc. We had a rental car and drove to different beaches and sites around the island. I recommend this unit for any couple planning to visit Barbados.

The beach club is great, but there are so many wonderful beach spots around the Island, some with no one on them, and the beach chairs etc are great for those discovery days. Wonderful experience

A lovely well equipped property set in beautiful gardens with access to the facilities of Sugar Hill. Well located to visit Barbados . A car is recommended but we managed well with taxis and walking (even uphill on the way back) to the beach club at stunning Alleynes Bay - membership really enhances the holiday. Local buses to Holetown are fun to ride too.The hosts were very informative and responsive. Rarely return to the same place but we have already booked to come back. Highly recommended.
