Come visit our Safari Style Bungalow perfect getaway to relax and get away from it all. 10 minutes of Guadalupe State Park and the beautiful Guadalupe river, 10 min from both historic Boerne, or Spring Branch, TX and 45 minutes from the famous Fredericksburg wineries. Home includes a main area with a beautiful raised platform bed, a second bedroom with 3 twin sized beds, comfortable living area and kitchenette (no oven), and unobstructed Hill country views.

Beautiful property. The kids loved exploring the place and interacting with the horses. The safari-style bungalow was a pleasure, and the owners were very friendly and responsive. We loved it here!

Wide open space & lovely bungalows

We had a lovely time here! It was the perfect place to just check out from reality and enjoy some peace and quiet. Wish the kitchen situation in the bungalow was a bit better, but we made it work. Also I think a playscape would really make it perfect for families with younger children! Overall though a wonderful stay and we plan to go back!

Beautiful property in the country

This is a beautiful property and was perfect for a weekend getaway. My young daughters had a great time exploring the area. My only complaint was that there were a ton of wasps around the property and they kept getting inside the house. It’s out in the country, so don’t know that there’s much that can be done about that. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay.

I already want to go back!

Barabara and her family are amazing to work with! The homes we stayed in were spotless and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and so very peaceful. The skies at night were perfect, the trees magnificent, and our family loved the pool and firepit area. Don't pass up a stay at their ranch~ you will not be disappointed! She even went out of her way to get my shoes back to me....thank you again for letting us stay at your ranch, you guys deserve all the best!

Great location for our family!

Lovely!

It was delightful! From the decor to the view, everything was just wonderful. We all were able to relax and just enjoy being a family playing games and making s’mores after a day on the river. Loved it!

Fantastic Find!

We planned a last minute spring break trip to San Antonio, and found this gem just a short drive away from downtown San Antonio with the Alamo and Riverwalk, Seaworld, Natural Bridge Caverns, Fredericksburg and Lukenbach. Great scenery, room for the kids to run, friendly horses, fantastic fire pit, and comfy beds. Absolutely thrilled with the experience and can’t beat the price! May try to plan a couples vacation so we can explore more of the nearby wineries and distilleries with friends!

Wonderful stay at Bergheim Ranch!

We booked three nights over spring break for a little getaway for us and our three youngish kids. We had such a great time and the pond house was super fun and comfortable! Highlights were visiting with the horses, the fire pit, and just relaxing on all of the swings around the ranch!

Great mini break. Pool was gorgeous. Beds super comfortable

Fabulous place to stay for 2 nights away. Kids fed the horses, swam in shared pool (had it to ourselves by liaising with other guests). fire pit was great for s’mores. Bath Towels were thick and soft (we will be asking where from so we can buy some too!). Place was very clean and secluded

Heaven in the Hill Country

This was a GEM of a property. Clean, unique, spacious, and open. While other guests were on the property, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our kids loved the bungalow style, the beds were comfortable, and the view was incredible. We swam in the inground pool, watched the horses graze from our balcony, made smores at the fire pit, and had the most increble stargazing opportunities never afforded to us in the city. We will definitely be going back! It was great for our family of four but we could also see ourselves booking with other families and friends.

Relaxing Girls Weekend!

This is our second time staying on the property and it didn't disappoint! It's beautifully maintained and you get a very secluded feel but you are also in such close proximity to Boerne/Fredericksberg or San Antonio or Gruene. It's the best of both worlds. I have stayed in the main house and bungalow and they are both great!

Great Secluded Property

This was a great secluded location. 2 adults and 2 children. We had a great time exploring the property, enjoying the pool, and just general relaxing. Wifi was great.
